We knew this chippie would be a good place to get some fried goodness by the line out the door. We were there at Sunday lunchtime and the place was packed. We ended up waiting 15 mins for our order and it seemed they had a good efficient system going. Excellent service too - smiles all round from the staff who seemed unphased by the crowd. As for the food - you can get fish, chicken or the inescapable potato scallops, that's about it. We had popper chicken, chips and scallops with a $1.20 tub of sauce. Now personally I think charging for sauce is a crime but I don't begrudge the small business owner the chance to increase their margins. And it was good nosh, enjoyed in the shade on a warm day amongst other happy customers. We will be back, and next time will probably take our paper bundle of yumminess down to the beach! read more

One of the fish and chip shops at Woorim, don't expect to get a burger here, it's almost only fish, with a bit of chicken thrown in. Pretty standard stuff, but I can tell you that when everything else is closed out this way, these guys are open, and that's a huge bonus in my eyes. Best Fish and Chip shop on Bribie Island. The food is delicious and the staff are super friendly. I took my friend there on the weekend and she's gluten intolerant and they were more than accommodating to her needs. The girls even drew smiley faces on the packaging. Took the family of 6 there and was very disappointed with the taste and quality of the meagre fish offering, mushy chips and hard dim dims. This was the second time we had a bad experience there and although we live nearby, won't be returning or recommending. read more
