We have a well. Lost water and called this company. They sent a tech out. After diagnosing the problem he said he found the problem and said a piece of pipe needed replacing. He jackhammered a hole in our wall and replaced the pipe. He primed the pump and left our residence. Within a couple of hours we were without water again. Tried getting in contact with them without an answer. Then we received the bill. $841.48 dollars later we still had no water. They did allow $15 for 3 cinder blocks that cost me $200 to have installed. If you have an extra $1041.48 to throw away this is the company for you. Do not recommend them. It's Sunday, May 22 and Crane was called to deal with a septic backup at my apartment complex in Liverpool. They have been here at least 3x in the last 3 weeks. The man who showed up today did not arrive with a rotorooter and is only able to jet the drains and has worsened the problem considerably with his efforts. I had this company finish a raised septic system that was left unfinished by another contractor The owner Mark came in and promised the world to us but the moment the half was payed up front Everything changed. The job kept getting pushed back calls were going unanswered and the price jumped almost $8000 after work got started. The yard was tore up and trying to get it repaired is a joke. IF I could could get the owner Mark to respond to me he would send people out with very minimal supplies and would not tell the crew everything that needed to be repaired. After multiple attempts to get things fixed it is still not fixed and I have to hire another company to fix what they destroyed. I am very surprised that there work even passed inspection at all. Around 4-5 feet of the back side of the septic mound was gone and it was to the point that the distribution box was completely exposed but it just so happened that part of what had to be leveled out on the ground was right near that missing 5 feet of sand. The plans called for a concrete tank and pump station which they took it upon themselves to cheap out and put a plastic one in That had to be pulled back out because the inspector found out about what they did. I was just on the phone once again with the owner Mark Crane trying to get him out to finish the job when he became very irate and started putting the blame on me and told me "I WAS ACTING TOO CAUCASIAN" for trying to get this job finished. This guy really had the audacity to start to going with racial slurs!!!! Bottom line is they promise you the world they can't deliver, they tear up your property and won't fix it, there is no communication within this company, they fail to stay in contact with you , most of time they just flat out ignore you, the owner is a hot head who show signs of racism and the severally cut corners trying to pinch pennies at your expense. Tom was great came out got the job done just needed a pump. The only complaint I have is was never called on the Friday they were supposed to come and showed up on Tuesday just better communication would be great but happy with the work and would have them come back out again. read more

Mark the owner came out 7/21/21 to quote us in switching our electric over and have power go underground from the pole to the house. He was supposed to do it last year and every time we called we were told he is scheduling to have it done. Almost a year later he is ready to do it and now wants to charge 2000 more than what he quoted us. That is terrible business and unprofessional. After calling Syracuse plumbers all day yesterday and no one returning my call. At 8:00 am this morning I called The Crane Company, My Mother's sewer needed to be "snaked" asap and she lives in Syracuse. When I spoke to a gentleman at 8:00 am at the Crane Company he said he would get someone there within the hour. Which, is exactly what he did. Kris, was our tech. He was highly professional, easy to talk to, and was extremely efficient at his job. The Crane Company came to my house to install a new sewer line in the first week of May. It is now the end of July and I'm still waiting on them to repair things they broke. It took 7 weeks of calling and getting the Village to call to have them come fix the sidewalk that was left a hazard simply because they couldn't bother making the dirt even. They re-graded half of the yard and then left the rest undone. They offered to do a regrade included with the price so I'm not sure why they offer them if they can't come back for 2 to 3 months to do it. They also didn't fix the storm drain, which the hill collapsed into because of the work they did. The storm drain is full of dirt and gravel and every time it rains more of the hill washes into it. I hope it survives the storms this week because if there's any additional damage to my property it's on them. The workers for their company are lazy and didn't want to put the gravel fill in (that I paid extra for mind you) They only did half the gravel fill because the county inspector signed off and left once the plumber was done. If you hire this company make sure someone is there to supervise, as their workers will cut any corners they can just because they want to go home and not work overtime. They stood there for an hour doing nothing after the inspector left because they were trying to figure out how to not put the gravel in. I personally wouldn't suggest them to anyone because it's ridiculous that they break public property and then refuse to come fix it for months at a time. They also dumped a giant piece of cement or something on the brand new vent pipe by the road that is making the pipe crooked. It won't budge so who knows what was in the dirt they dumped next to it. They keep telling me they're coming and then still don't show up. At this point the Village can repair it and send them a bill. Buyer beware if they say they're going to come back to do something ... GOOD LUCK. The only good things I have to say is that I have a working sewer line thanks to Perrone Plumbing. Hopefully it stays working since Crane didn't put all the gravel in that they were supposed to. I stood on my porch and watched them not put the gravel in the hole except for a few spots where the corners of the pipe are. They may be good at other things but don't hire them for sewer work. They will destroy your property and then not come back. read more
