The venue serves some pretty tasty yet small food like poke tacos, sliders, and fries. The cocktails look very artesian. I can understand why people love this place. I hate having to pay for parking and this place only validates for 2 hours. There is not a bathroom upstairs so you have to go downstairs. You have to rent the dartboards upstairs. It takes a while to get drinks, even when they are not busy. The food is tasty but small.

The Foundry at Puritan Mill is located in Westside Atlanta, very close to the King Plow Arts Center. The site used to be home of the Puritan Chemical Company, who manufactured soaps and other cleaning products. The building has since been renovated and transformed into a clean and modern-looking facility. The floor space is huge. Sections were cordoned off with tall, elegant, white curtains. Along with nice decor and ambient lighting, the building still maintains an industrial look and feel with high, enormous ceilings with exposed ductwork and steel support beams, smooth-finished concrete floors, brick walls, and giant warehouse-style windows. There's also a patio outside, not to mention ample free parking. Puritan Mill provided more than enough space for our group of about 130-140. For our party, the venue was divided into three sections: (1) cocktails, h'orderves, (2) live music and dancing, (3) dinner. The first hour consisted of an open bar with standing tables and light h'orderves. When dinnertime rolled around, the curtains were pulled back and the beautiful, intimate dining area opened up. After dinner, dancing lasted late into the night. Overall, it was a very fun time and I had a blast. Food and drinks were provided by Bold American Catering (preferred caterer). Live entertainment was provided by Freeflight Productions of Kennesaw.

Delayed Customer Service: I paid $255.00 extra, for 30 additional chairs from the BLoft when I arrived at 10am to set up for the event, the chairs were not there. There chairs did not arrive until 1130. This left our team no time to put ribbon toil around the remainder of the chairs. (please see receipt attachment) Broken venue equipment: One of the 6ft long tables that's included with the venue package was broken and unusable. It was obvious this table had been broken for a while, so why was it there? This created a workflow change for the caterers who needed 5 six foot tables side by side. Lack of responsiveness: I corresponded with a Bloft Rep regarding delivery of additional round tables via courier from an outside company. By email notification I was told a time I could have the tables delivered. Delivery man showed up at noon, no one was present and the venue was locked. Delivery man waited 30 minutes. I received a phone call from him when he was about to leave and take the tables back to the place of pickup. (Delivery is $45 each way). No apology from the manager/owner Elaine just an abrupt email response and a whole lot of stereotypical passive aggressive ethnic attitude. (Please see photo attachment) Shady and Unscrupulous business practices: Failure to refund money missing items without being prompted by the customer: I ordered a Pink Carpet for the event. Again, it was not there when I arrived and the Venue rep said they didn't have it. You'd think I would have received an automatic refund. No, I had to reach out and request a refund via email. Unprofessional Communication: The Manager/Owner never gave a blameless apology for the overall poor customer service. This is chiefly the reason why I am posting this review here (and on other sites as well). The rep that was onsite the day of my event and the woman who delivered the chairs were very nice and attempted to provide some form of service recovery, but quite frankly it was not enough to atone for the passive aggressive and negative correspondence from the Manager/Owners prior to the day of the party. Everyone else I worked with to create this special occasion was perfection. This includes: band, Caterer, Photographer, and Decorators but for some reason the Bloft couldn't get it together. Bottom Line: If you value the dreams and memories you're trying to create with your love ones. Don't book your event here. The Bloft will Nickle and dime you to death with their a la cart' prices and immediately drop the ball at every corner in the process while looking at you in dead in the eye, as if you owe them something and they're doing you a favor.

Never do business with this guy because he is a lone horse as he stated to me and has no one to back him up if he's on vacation for a week. He will definitely take you money and run with it.
