Studio perfect canvas to create. The space had everything I needed to start working in a new space, from seamless paper and stands to a sound system to set the vibe. While the hourly rental space rate is in line with the average around town, becoming a member lets you take advantage of a much better hourly rate. We were only in the front of the venue but it seemed rather large. If you're familiar with five points you've probably seen the space before. There were a few vendors today and a DJ. There was also someone there to let us know about The Bakery and what it offers. If I'm not mistaken they also use a do-it-yourself approach and want to reach out in the community to build relationships within it. If you have an event The Bakery would be an interesting place to hold it. Lastly because of its location I would suggest getting the ParkMobile app to pay for parking which will cost less.

We rented the green screen studio and the accompanying dressing room had plenty of space & seating and good lighting for the MUA. The space was comfortable. The rates are comparable. The value was great. The bathrooms were immaculate, as was the large kitchen. Everyone wore their masks and there was Clorox products around. There is a rear load in door so it was very easy to get our equipment in and out. There were two really nice attendants when I got there who unfortunately I cannot remember their names. But they got us set up and made sure our music and temps were good. James closed us out and was great. My first point of contact on the phone, Daniel was super patient & attentive. He made the booking process a pleasure. What can I say, my client who is an A list celeb was happy so I am happy. Will definitely book here again. The lighting was great and I had a last minute request for a big fan and the fellas did not flinch to get it for us. Very nice experience.

We walked into a main gallery area and were greeted by a very nice lady who took the time to explain what the space was. It is a space where artists can rent studio space and collaborate, along with open up their own shops. The space size vary and some are along the outside, meaning they have windows, and some are in the interior with no windows. Some artists blocked their space so you could not see but others were open and you could see their works, some in mid-completion. We did the full loop and saw a few spaces that were available to lease. We also stopped in a few open shops where the artists were working and chatted with a few. All were super nice and we had a great time checking everything out.

Works by previous artists like Julie Ross as well as new and exciting local talents are shown on both floors.
