DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPLEX! We were tenants at The Crest for four years and moved out in March 2026. During our time there, we experienced repeated HVAC issues, and the final repair took more than a month to resolve. Communication and follow-through from management were consistently disappointing. Throughout the four years we lived there, I repeatedly requested that the breezeway in our building be pressure washed because it was heavily stained and dirty. Each time, management said it would be addressed, but it never happened. The areas visible to the public and prospective tenants were maintained, while the resident areas directly outside the apartments were neglected. Another ongoing issue was the trash situation on weekends when valet service was unavailable. Trash would pile up, creating an unpleasant and unsanitary environment. For a property marketed as "luxury," the upkeep and overall resident experience did not reflect the premium prices being charged. The most frustrating experience came after we moved out. We received a notice claiming we owed money for what we believe to be normal wear and tear, and our security deposit was withheld. On top of that, the notice was sent outside the legally required timeframe. We disputed the charges, but the property still sent the account to collections and reported it to the credit bureaus. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage prospective renters to think carefully before signing a lease here. Sent a concerned letter about the below issues to the leasing office... no response for 2 weeks so I sent it to the corporate office of the management team, no response for 2 weeks so since they clearly do not care Ill drop it here... DONT RENT here period. It looks good up at the office and pool area... the rest is turning into a 3rd world country and they arent even willing to answer an email about it. read more

Unfortunately, just like every other apartment complex that I have lived in. Some nice residents, the maintenance team does the best they can despite being underfunded, and the office staff is nice, but the property manager Jenna Grassi is the same as the rest of her type. How can I squeeze another nickel out of everyone? Advertised as a gated community, but the gates have been broken for all but maybe five days since I moved in so don't count on that level of security, but you can count on a lot of lame excuses. They charged me $75 for a key fob to open the gates and some other common area's doors. My key fob didn't work at all for either the few days the gates worked or on any of the doors, but the property manager Jenna Grassi refuses to refund my $75. They threaten to fine you $200 if you don't clean up after your dog but even when I report piles of dog waste, they don't all get cleaned up. If I ever do get fined, I would argue that they only selectively enforce their rules. Judges don't like that. They bill $27 a month for the valet trash service. Estimating as low as 200 apartment occupancy that means they are billing at least 200 x 12 x $27 = $64,800 a year while the person who hikes up and down every apartment building picking up our trash bags five nights a week and who uses his own truck gets paid $10,000 a year. Who is pocketing that over $50,000 for doing nothing? My personal favorite is the nights that the trash compactor is full, and residents have to put their trash bags on the ground outside the compactor. I think of that mound as Rats Epicurean Delight! Unsupervised kids running around harassing residents, people getting drunk inside the pool area, plus a lot more and I won't miss this place. When I expressed my concerns, they immediately brought in a lawyer to try and bully me into submission. Is this how you want to live? You should be able to do a lot better! read more

I came into this place with no expectations. The first thing I noticed is the exterior deadbolt was on the door in reverse. Meaning that anyone can up to the door and unlock it from the outside and walk into the apartment with my friend and her young children residing inside. Maybe that was a fluke issue. I took it apart and reversed it so they could lock their exterior door and be safe. Then I noticed their gates never worked. They were always open. Not unlocked, actually open to the public. Their key fobs don't work either. They can't access the exterior doors to the complex or the clubhouse, which the bathrooms are in for the pool. Speaking of the pool, which opened 3 weeks late due to poor management, they assessed more rules to the tenants while the keys still don't work. Now you need your drivers license to swim along with your $2,000+/month to live there. The kids are told they are not allowed to ride bikes or be on the sidewalks or cross on the cross walks. The dishwasher was replaced after several attempts to fix. The fridge was replaced after several attempts to fix. The drain stopper still doesn't work after several attempts to be fixed. Tonight, my friend is locked out of her apartment because the maintenance people came in unannounced and locked the door behind them with her keys on the counter. There are no less than 3 people who live on the premises who have access to the master key to let her and her children in and they told her to get a locksmith to let them in. For $175 at 9Pm!! It's almost 10pm and they still are Locked out. These kids are 2-5 years old! They didn't want to walk 50 feet to get the master key to let them in. My other good friend that lives there has been harassed by several servicemen hired by the complex to the point she had to call the police to get rid of them at 2am. This place is the worst. Don't waste your money or your sanity living here. read more

Whatever you do, DO NOT rent an apartment from this complex or their management team, "The Management Group"!! Rude office staff who cannot communicate amongst each other, nor with the tenants. The CEO is just as bad. The maintenance staff will show up and enter unannounced. The company will nickel and dime you for everything. The apartments look nice, but are poorly built. I could hear my neighbors talking... I broke my lease after six months because of them. The complex is the highest priced complex in the area. Worst complex I have ever rented from and worst living experience. RENTER'S BEWARE!!! read more

our lease recently ended at this appt complex. To our surprise, we are being billed for a new carpet due to "unacceptable" wear and tear. We do have two dogs and we paid all appropriate dues and fees/deposits for having two dogs. The wear and tear that we had is more than what they would "accept" - I guess this is where this becomes a semantics issue. Please be AWARE of the deceptive tactics and explanations/justifications used by this management to fleece you of your deposit. their solution is to give you "your deposit back" and bill you for the whole carpet - how wonderful. they will definitely tell you "sorry you feel that way" but will still bill you for a new carpet. PS: when we moved in there, the carpet was NOT new. I guess this is how you do business! Bravo. Very unfortunate situation when you blindside your tenants like that. PLEASE BE CAREFUL and do your research. read more

Beautiful community to live in, however they have the worst management team I've ever worked with. Phones are always down, the communication between staff members is horrendous as is communication between staff and the residents. Touches inside the apartments look nice but are very cheaply done. If you cancel your lease early be prepared to pay unknown fees and to be charged multiple times for one bill. Seriously, the worst. Be prepared to be constantly frustrated! read more

Beautiful community, but dealing with the leasing office is horrible. They are rude, misleading, deceiving, and won't talk to you when their is a conflict. Go somewhere else with your money because dealing with them is not worth it. Can't wait to get out of my lease. read more

Apartments are nice however if you don't mind walking around tons of dog feces it's not too bad. Office staff is marginal at best, no courtesy calls, phones are always down and always an excuse for poor customer service. No trailers or boats allowed but there seems to be lawn equipment, Jetskis and boats parked in the lot with nothing done about it. The beautiful outdoor fireplace pavilion is yet to be completed with the availability of having a fire or gas logs as promised seven months later. read more
