One would expect a service call to entail troubleshooting and diagnosis, often followed by a need to order a part and then return for installation and resolution of the issue. However, this firm simply installs the first broken part, waits for you to call again and then advises you that even though is the same appliance that they just worked on, the cycle starts all over with a brand new, completely billable service call. It's hard to find a trustworthy, reliable and honest company to work with. Be assured that Heber Appliance is the opposite of every one of those characteristics. Avoid them as you would the plague.

Nearby is Folklore Bookshop, and I hope they are benefitting from the crowds because my visit left a lasting impression that I still recall fondly. Yes, there's an amazing selection of books and cute gifts. Yes, it's quaint and cozy. There's a dog (or there was that day). Also a roaring fireplace and an area to gather or read or both - but that's just a short list of what makes this place special. As you are browsing the shelves, you'll see notecards handwritten by staff with an overview of a book they've read and enjoyed shared in the most relatable way. Their passion for reading really comes through here and that is everything!!! Props to Quinn for including a spooky meter where applicable. Everyone I interacted with was so friendly and helpful, and you can just feel that they loved being there as much as I did. Plus - free bookmark with purchase!
