Aaron is very friendly and knows every book in his store, He found me the perfect Bible that I was looking for in my favorite color purple at a great price and value that I could not pass up and had to purchase. I spent hours there and even did a live broadcast to Facebook.

The store was nothing like its website description. Unorganized and dusty, I will not return.

All types, and then others too, will likely love The Conjuring Tree. There are so many interesting trinkets, accessories, tools and gadgets that I enjoyed browsing. Many that were familiar to me, but some new items as well. The lovely staff member, Sage, was kind enough to give us a little run-down on the store, how long they've been around and some of the events that they hold. There are plans for a more formal tea gathering space in the back which will allow for even more amazing events. I love the vibe here and the friendliness that was extended. Even if I'm not sure what to do with all the cool things they sell, I'd feel very comfortable asking about the items and know that I'd be met with a welcoming, patient explanation.

We were simply looking for crystals or potions to bring comfort for our mom as she goes through the dying process. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with such kindness and warmth. One of the owners, Andy, came over to help us and I can honestly say he was a true blessing. He wasn't just knowledgeable about the items in the store, he radiated compassion and calm. He listened to us with such patience, offered thoughtful guidance, and shared insight that immediately put our worries at ease. In a moment of heaviness for our family, he gave us peace, reassurance, and even a sense of lightness about this stage of life. This shop is so much more than a place to buy things... it's a sanctuary. We walked out not only with meaningful items for our mom, but also with hearts that felt lifted and comforted. What an incredible gift Andy and this shop have been to us. I am so deeply grateful we found The Conjuring Tree. Highly recommend to anyone seeking not only beautiful metaphysical tools, but also a safe and healing space filled with love.

The…read moredownstairs area is very large, and if you try to go in the back door of the store to avoid all of the parking craziness at the front-beware, as the back door is locked. Upstairs are two different areas-including a fabric store which has a ton of fun fabrics for you to choose from. These are not the same fabrics you will find at Jo-Ann's or anywhere else that sells fabric. The other business upstairs is a framing shop, that has mostly religious pictures-both original and prints for sale. They will also frame anything else that you bring in and did not purchase here. The two women upstairs were very friendly and welcoming, and made me feel like an old friend. If you are looking for a gift, there are plenty of options, and even non-denominational gifts for people of all ages. Plus, the store is such a peaceful place to just browse.

But I looked up to the second floor and could have sworn I saw bolts of fabric lining the walls. But this is Deseret Book, right? Up the stairs I go, and sure enough that place is packed with fabric. Maybe technically the thing is a Mormon Handicraft, but there it is under the same roof so I'm calling it part of Deseret Book for now. Here's the low down on the fabric: it's really cute. Like, super darling, adorbs, and totally quiltworthy. Polka dots like crazy, paisley, stripes, and lots of flowery darling things.
