It starts out with a long pour of vodka, and I do mean LONG pour & a homemade spicy mixer stirred over a salty, spicy rimmed glass of ice cubes. The Dam Pub is AWESOME! I have to say, they are NOT lying when they say they have the best DAM bloody marys around. It's no joke! For $7 you get a meal in a frosty tall glass. I live in Miami where Bloodies are abundant, but I can say that sadly I've paid much more and have gotten consistent mediocrity in the big city. This bloody is spicy, strong (3 oz of vodka) and chock full of things like cheese, pepperoni, dilly beans, pickles, a hot pepperoncini, rimmed with what tastes like a combo of Old Bay, sea salt and more spicy goodness! The bartender (I cannot remember her name) is cute as a button and doesn't put up with any sh*t. You can tell she can take care of herself when it comes to the rowdy locals and out of town patrons like myself. She was also good at sales noticing I was from out of town and I didn't flinch when she offered me the $1 jello shot or their jumbo signature wings (SOLD!). The jello shot wasn't too strong so you can easily do one or two of them without them causing you to stumble or take your clothes off. The wings were indeed jumbo and cooked perfectly with your choice of dipping sauce. The pub is a little hard to find - your GPS may take you on a wild goose chase - but put forth the effort and find it. You will not be disappointed. PS - I went here on a Thursday, but I hear weekends they offer live music and lots of motorcycle eye candy to look at. Don't forget the beautiful scenery around the dam! read more
