I really like their clothes because they are modern and affordable however well-made. When I walked into the store yesterday they had free apple cider that you can sip on while walking around and shopping. Besides clothing they also have jewelry and candles and cards and little knickknacks. There is a kids section with kids toys and books about how to be inclusive. I love their vibe and it's a very nice store which also has Instagram stories weekly so you can kind of see what they have in stock before you go there. It is a small business so it's nice to shop small.

There are small spaces to walk around but could feel crowded if more than a few folks are in the space at a time. Though, I had no issue navigating. They do have an upstairs area as well. Prices did vary but seem reasonable. From the collection of hats, jewelry, vinyl and more, you're likely to find a unique item here. I'd love to drop in for another visit when in the area.

The selection is fun, unique, and clearly curated with care. The staff was very pleasant and welcoming, which always makes the experience even better. Definitely don't miss going upstairs. There are even more items to explore up there, plus a nice selection of vinyl records that add to the charm. If you love vintage finds and enjoy browsing somewhere with personality, House of Rebellion is absolutely worth a stop.

Overall, I still recommend this store, but I wouldn't go in expecting everything to be reasonably priced, or made in USA.

I went to purchase a Bumba seat, excited to have found one in decent condition; I used my card to…read morepurchase it and the lady at the counter said she didn't see the charge "from their end" and asked me to charge it again. Seeing as I'm not made of money and expecting a baby, I diligently checked my bank account first and sure enough there it was, a debit for $33. The woman still wouldn't let me have my seat, even after showing her the charge on my bank account, and insisted I come back the next day so the manager could deal with it. She told me this happens a lot so I don't trust going back and using my card again, and I work a full day the next day and don't have more time to waste on this. Not only are your targeted clientele shopping at your store for a bargain because we're trying to save money, but we also don't appreciate being asked to charge our card twice when the money is already gone. my husband even tried calling and speaking to the owner only to be told the same thing. So I left without my seat and without my $33. I don't have infinite time to go back and forth to their hard-to-get-into location right off busy Main st, so it's unfortunate we couldn't come to a solution over the phone with the owner. Consider it a donation I guess, but I will never be back. Ridiculous!!

My fiancé went into this store to look around for the 1st time. It was a cold day so I stayed in…read morethe car. When he returned he said, "It's REALLY good you didn't come with me into the store!" I asked what happened. He told me an unleashed aggressive dog was standing directly inside the entrance and loudly snarled and growled at him as he tried to enter the store. The female owner of the dog&store told him the dog was a "rescue" and that it didn't take a liking to men. I have documented allergies to dogs and also fear them for their unpredictable nature as what happened when he casually walked into the store. It's a shame because he probably would have bought me something warm to wear if the dog had not been there growling at him. Also, I only buy second hand from smoke&pet free homes/stores. *Message to management: I've never owned a clothing store, but I've worked at one. It's very important for customers to feel safe and welcomed when trying on clothes and window shopping. In what world is it considered civilized to have an unleashed, untrained and aggressive dog positioned at the head of the store? You are actively discriminating against men shopping at your store by bringing this dog to work. Men like to surprise their girlfriend or wife or mother with something nice to wear from time to time. If you don't have liability insurance for potential dog bites when a man enters your store it might be time to get some. Or, better yet, just install a modern security system and leave your aggressive dog at home or bring it to a shelter. You will be doing the city of Raleigh and it's citizens a favor.

There is very room to walk in the aisles because of the huge inventory. That is a compliment, not a complaint! When you go in and make a right, it's all boots. Boots, boots, boots, and more boots. From casual to high-end exotic skins. And I was impressed with a lot of the prices as well. I know some of the boots they sell, sell for much more in other places. They also have hard-to-find boots, too. Going in and making a left turn you find clothes and hats. We bought a stuffed bear and pink cowboy hat for our 2-year-old granddaughter. She picked them out, grabbing the hat and putting it on and grabbing the bear and carrying it with her. Of course, we are grandparents so we don't spoil her.
