There were a couple of gorgeous hand-knit sweaters I could hear tempting me and I almost succumbed until I thought about the temperature outside that day and couldn't bring myself to give in. The clothes from Possibilities are beautiful, but they aren't cheap. One minor disappointment is the jewelry -- it was nice, mostly handmade, but overpriced for what it was. It's not like a Goodwill where it's sort of like a free-for-all even their knickknacks in home decor is sorted very well. I found some amazing pajamas that originally retail for $130 for only $2! I always find amazing pieces there. My niece even found her prom dress there and it was on sale for $12 and it was absolutely gorgeous. Fit her like a glove and looked brand new. They even have a nice selection of wedding dresses and upscale outfits, even cultural traditional wear, which I've never really seen in thrift stores before.

The store is usually clean and organized (for a thrift store). The prices are usually very consistent and they don't seem to try and charge antique store prices for some of the nicer stuff that comes through. They get it. You move volume -- you don't run off your customers with stale inventory and a back shelf full of high dollar items that sit there for months until they get marked down to a reasonable number. Cons: The music. They play a very limited selection of "Christian" music that is usually just pop-music ripoffs with the redundant lyrics. The staff can *sometimes* be hard to tolerate. I do understand that they put up with A LOT of crazy, but I've had to overhear some pretty borderline racist things about "immigrants" over the last couple of years. Remember ladies, when you're preaching to the choir outside of of the congregation, some people might not appreciate overhearing you recite some of your conservative media talking points. I initially mistook it for a children's store. I learned it was a boutique and checked it out. What a cute shop! The store is larger than comparable boutiques and more affordable. Plus they have a discount section! As I perused the shelves, an employee welcomed me. I informed her that it was my first visit and she enthusiastically told me about the shop. She then greeted other customers and answered their questions. I found two discounted tops I liked and tried them on in the fitting room. The first didn't fit, but the second one did. She showed me around the store and told me the story behind the business and the venders she supports. She also shared the range of price points on items in her store. The clothing range from $30-70. There were only a few pieces over $100. They also carry jewelry ranging from $16-$80 dollars. I know what you might be thinking kind of pricey, but the brands of jewelry they carry are empowering others. The brands restore power and offer outreach to women who have experienced challenges. IE: Addiction, homelessness or have been victims of human trafficking.
