Their personalities are approachable, friendly, and helpful! The class is typically of 15 - 20 pupils yet individual attention from the instructors are still received about form/technique. Every session is challenging and building skill on top of the previous classes, so it's definitely going to be tough to jump into the middle of the semester. Be assured that it is a low-stress environment. On the first of March, I sprained my ankle and so was not permitted activity for 4 weeks. The school allows 5 make-ups and typically by the end of the month. However, due to the limitation that a level one student can take and schedule restrictions, the school permitted that I do the make-ups by the end of the semester. I am glad about that!

What sets them apart from other zumba instructors is that Amy and Susan are so genuine and caring. I had some health issues a while back and Amy used to check up on me and send me emails that brightened up my day. =) In a nutshell, Amy and Susan really try to create a sense of community -- they host potluck parties and t-shirt cutting events that get all of us ladies mingling and getting to know one another. I'd been teaching C/W dance on same night, had wanted to learn Polynesian, So, ended up in Danville at "Two-Left feet" dance studio. I'm one of the lucky ones to join at the beginning. I FELL IN LOVE WITH CATHERINE, CARL AND AUNTIE SHARON, AND, CJ, THEIR SON. We performed all over. Competed at Tahiti Fete, 3 yrs. In 99 we won our division. Total excitement. This was a great group of caring people. Never saw anger, or rudeness from anyone. Would love to go back, even at my age, 83, still can move the old hips. Listen to Hawaiian music all the time. Wish I could remember the dances. I wish them nothing but the very best. My favorite 4 1/2 years of dance.

My husband and I took 5 lessons from her to prepare for our first dance for our wedding. Thanks to her lessons we absolutely nailed it and our guests were very impressed. Another great thing about Alice is that she's not afraid to tell you when a move looks different than you may have intended and is flexible on changing up the routine to better suit you. This is important in an instructor! We miss our lessons and after such a fantastic experience, we're planning to find some local dancing spots.

Pros: -Free trial class -Teddy bear, dance bag, dance journal are free when signing up and I'd you sign up early you can get even more free items like the leotard and tights -classes after work for working mamas -45 min classes teaching ballet and tap Cons: -Poor communication -seems challenging to get details about things from them -Curriculum/teacher seems to make it soo difficult for kids (age 3-4) to be engaged. There's always melt downs, potty breaks, kids sleeping on the floor, ponding on walls etc -teacher doesn't seem to have control of the class -recital super disorganized, costumes came last minute, daddy daughter in person practice was over Memorial Day weekend which lots of folks can't make due to being out of town. Biggest gripe is that it was an outdoor recital in June in Livermore. It was over 90 degrees. -no ventilation in waiting room (so hot in June) Overall I think my daughter did improve her dance skills but I'm rooting for them to really improve their admin issues before re-enrolling.
