AMAZING! I've been working with Erwan and Alicia, attending the classes and workshops from The Davon Method for couple months now. It truly has been transformational in so many ways. I was interested in Tantra workshops for a long time and finally looked up local offerings and this seemed like the most in-tune offering in the Bay Area for what I was looking for-- a focus on the spiritual underlying and true intimacy. The thing that has impacted me the most profoundly is the direct experimental nature of working directly with the energies of our subtle (or energetic) bodies during the workshops. You get to learn the teachings, receive guidance, and then experiment which really helps to integrate this stuff. These energies are what are present during every interaction, are what really provide the juice (imagine if you couldn't feel anything when you interacted with someone) and I have more awareness of them during my day-to-day life. That awareness makes these energies more enjoyable and I'm able to relax into them without judging them or needing to change them. It's that understanding "this is natural and normal" that helps to let go of the baggage so many of us myself included have carried around intimacy. Like with most things I've experienced to be transformational in my life, the change is profound yet subtle. There's just a greater confidence I have in my interactions with others. It isn't one magical potion, though a commitment to be present and open, alongside the great guidance and teachings that really produces the fruit. I have benefited in taking the Relationship Coaching classes as well-- being able to have a community and a space where we can learn and talk about this area of life that is so crucial for fulfillment, in contrast to how most people just wing it out of fear or conditioning. I just attended Erwan and Alicia's Davon Method, Paradise Tantra retreat in Sayulita, Mexico and it awakened something in me that I didn't even realize had gone quiet!! Through breathwork, yoga, guided communication and connection practices, I felt a giant surge of sensual aliveness -- physically, emotionally, and energetically! It's not about pick-up lines or dating hacks -- it's about learning how to connect, stay present, and understand your own patterns. I am a recent attendee of their 2-day Pleasure Course. What a fantastic exposé into the many, many topics surrounding long-term, sustainable relationships! How should it develop in the first place? How can that fiery romance be nurtured to support a true partnership for years to come? They'll be quick to let you know that it starts with presence and self-understanding. You are given the space to reflect on patterns in your behavior and how they could have stemmed from some of your earliest life experiences. Flirtation and communication strategies, guided meditations, touch practices, and extended orgasm demonstrations are all on the table as you navigate this very complex, but extremely important area of your life. Singles and couples at all stages of their partnership are both welcome. Alicia and Erwan offer plenty of opportunity for participants to reveal goals, challenges and insights amongst one another, and it really promotes a sense of community, as you begin to notice your experiences are in fact highly relatable to those of others. I have worked with Alicia and Erwan now for a little less than a year and have found the trainings not only insightful, but tremendously useful and positively impactful. The thing that I most appreciate about them is the thorough lack of dogma - there is more than sufficient consideration for my choice of approach (i.e. whether I take their coaching or not) and there is similarly strong consideration for nuance i.e. exceptions to the rule. I think this point strengthens the case for Alicia and Erwan's trainings being unique and effective - it is rare to find these kinds of considerations in most trainings. I feel that when nuances and exceptions to the rule are considered and appreciated, it makes the process of transformation much easier to embrace and work on. I worked with Alica from August 2021 to April 2022, and we didn't have a good experience nor achieved any result that we came here for. Here are some of my thoughts / feedback: 1. Attended the sessions unprepared. I wish Alicia would come to the session prepared and provide more structure. Instead, she would just show up and ask us what we would like to talk about in the session. As a result, we had sessions that ended 15-30 mins early because there was nothing to talk about. 2. Alicia is a Relationship Coach that should not be practicing marriage counseling. Refer the clients to licensed marriage therapists at the appropriate time instead of trying to conduct marriage counseling herself, which she does not have the license nor is equipped to. 3. Misleading information. Alicia advertised herself as "trained as a therapist" on her website. This is misleading as Alicia did not complete her education and does not have the appropriate license to conduct marriage counseling. 4. Dress unprofessionally. I understand that marriage counseling isn't investment banking, but I do think Alicia dressed inappropriately during our sessions. She would wear a halter top or spaghetti straps with her back showing, which represents a lack of professionalism. We spent $5k and did not get any results. I think, ultimately, we had mismatched expectations, and Alicia was not capable of handling the problem my husband and I were facing at the time, I would prefer she referred me to the appropriate therapist for ongoing sessions. Alicia and Erwan were on my radar for about a year. I finally got the courage and opportune time to try out their Tantra Yoga class at the Center SF and grateful I joined in. Since then I've enjoyed their humor, practicality, authenticity, and connectedness through the Mastery of Relationship, Pleasure Course, and presence. Consent is sexy and they helped me see love as a juicy journey that requires intentional effort to grow and flourish. They are approachable in any matter that might crop up and genuinely hold space. Hmm. I don't quite know where to start. I did this course a while back and finally felt called to say something. I recommend that you also read the other 1-2 star reviews for an even fuller picture of what went wrong, and recognize too that many of the 5 star reviews below are part of their huge staff. Overall: The unnecessarily huge price tag aside, I felt like it was a waste of three days. It felt gimmicky. It was certainly helpful for individuals who have never been in a long term relationship or a healthy relationship, but I do not recommend to the mindful 20/30somethings living in SF, or to those who have a high EQ. Also very much don't recommend if you are someone with a high sensitivity around people who seem manipulative, insincere, or self-important (you'll be doing a lot of eye rolls). There were certainly a handful of valuable lessons around communication and self love, and I do think it's important to space it out over a few days so you can reflect and process, but it could have been compressed into three half-days if you cut out the 4 hours of them selling more classes to us and asking us to invite our friends to their class, the hours of Erwan's unnecessary self-complimenting, the "naptime" after a 1.5hr lunch break, etc. (Yes we really did spend 4 hours listening to them sell their own courses, think of people to invite to their upcoming event, discuss with them the people to invite to their event, as well as blocked time to register for their future classes, followed by a break). I still can't believe for $1000 they don't provide any meals, just tea/coffee and non-hygienic nut bowl. Anyway, not enough time spent on the activities that were promised to us, and no formal process to think through deep questions, where a rubric would have helped. Feels like they glazed over serious topics like the relationship blueprint (the main reason I signed up) that requires meaningful and professional guidance, perhaps they were unqualified to teach what was promised. It was a 10 minute group discussion and then it was done - what? That's it? I expected more from their 20 years of expertise. Half the course attendees were part of staff / "helpers" that felt like they were there to laugh when a joke was made and they did most of the sharing, which made the group feel cult-y and made me further feel like I was subsidizing their ticket to be there. Erwan also felt like a very negative energy, he would get very aggressive (not in a sexy man way) and wouldn't practice what he preached on communication when giving feedback to people. I notice this in his replies to people's negative feedback on yelp too (he takes things as a personal attack, and attacks back). He was dismissive, self-important, and also undermined Alicia a lot, who has a lot more qualifications in this space than he does. They both felt very fake / insincere. And when you layer weird things like them being "introduced" after a break, interrupting people who were pouring their hearts out in order to shout orders to their helpers, weird "announcements", them sitting above us on director chairs, etc. -- it all just felt icky and gimicky. I later discovered that three other friends had also taken this course, and all of them had the exact same feedback about the course, their weird dynamic, and an intense aversion to Erwan. People I spoke to in my class also felt weird vibes from them, and found him chauvinistic, although they were able to be a bit more detached than I am, since here I am writing this. My advice for the instructors: lower the price tag and shorten the duration, cut out ALL of your sales pitching that takes away from the intentionality of the weekend (we are not paying you for that), be clear on your target audience to maximize positive reviews because this is definitely not for couples or singles my age who have any level of foundation in healthy relationships, mindfulness, nonviolent communication, etc. read more

My husband and I just took part in The Pleasure Course. Throughout, we learned our own individual blueprints of what certain aspects of our past (dating back to childhood years) do to create who we are in relationships today, what personal struggles we face that could get in the way of being fully present and vulnerable for your partner, and how to take your relationship (no matter at what stage you're at) to completely new heights. I opened up my heart and mind to understand what triggers I have and how to deal with that, as well as how to present myself as the best version and whole human I can for my relationship. We could have been anywhere else this weekend; out drinking with friends, camping, staying in watching movies and binge eating, but as a couple we decided to do this course. I am absolutely loving The Davon's Method Mastery of Relationships course. The zoom sessions are transformative. I have been in this course for a few months and already I have seen improvements in my relationships because of the information they share and the practices they preach and conduct us to engage in. I also appreciate the psychology and spirituality based structure. Also, you can tell they know what they are talking about just by they way they look at each other and interact with one another. The proof is in the pudding. They are so inspirational and very helpful. They really work with you, especially Alicia, and make everyone feel seen and heard. The class has been very validating for a wide variety of people which everyone gets the pleasure of witnessing. I left the Pleasure Course feeling completely dishonored and disgusted. Bottom line, Erwan and Alicia are simply NOT qualified to be taking people through such intense, explicit curriculum or ANY curriculum for that matter. The way they relate to their participants with total disregard for past trauma and sexual abuse could easily be responsible for a number of lawsuits as well as the potential for extreme re-traumatization. *If you have experienced rape, incest, sexual abuse etc, DO NOT ATTEND THIS COURSE. I work with survivors and Erwan and Alicia are in WAY over their heads. Their ignorance is dangerous. To begin with, their narcissism was dripping all over the couch they sat on and drenching the participants. Erwan made several comments throughout the workshop to various women, implying they could eventually earn the honor of coming home to bed with him and Alicia (myself included). Erwan, stop assuming women want to sleep with you. Yuck. This was just one example of what felt more and more like a sleazy, entitled God Complex. Erwan is like the Jim Jones of sexual "expression" and Kool-Aid is being served by the gallon. However, there is no actual invitation for AUTHENTIC expression, only robotic regurgitation of his MANIPULATIVE, EGOIC "teachings". Every question or concern voiced from the participants was met with opposition and was turned around on the participant, accusing them of being triggered or operating from something in their past or an inability let go and trust in the process. We were accused of being defiant and made to feel wrong about our concerns. Anything vulnerable that was shared was at risk of being used against us and potentially be asked to leave. THIS WAS NOT A SAFE SPACE. There was always an "option" not to participate in various exercises. BUT, that "option" was always followed with an accusation of those who didn't participate were the boring people at the party. They literally said over and over "No one wants to be the boring person at the party". Well GUESS WHAT? No one wants to participate in things that feel violating either! And then shamed when they speak their truth and take care of themselves. I repeat THIS WAS NOT A SAFE SPACE. Furthermore, Alicia was VERY vocal about who she liked the most and would ask people to move so someone else could be near her. Having people in extremely vulnerable positions then asking them to move in order for so-and-so be in front of her was inexcusable and a perfect example of her/their inability to understand the impact they have on people. I had several conversations with Alicia and Erwan during and after the workshop about my concerns and experiences. Once again, they turned everything around and made it about me, my triggers, my fault etc. etc. They made zero effort to resolve any concern. This was THE MOST unprofessional and unbelievably ego-driven course I've ever taken. And I have taken multiple courses in many areas over the years. Given that Erwan and Alicia are Landmark Education Graduates, I expected at the very minimum, a base line of integrity and ability to honor their participants experiences. Nope. Nada. Nothing. This course should be called The "Watch Erwan and Alicia pleasure themselves with their self-importance" Course. read more

I signed up for the Pleasure Course not having any expectations. I had been single for the past year and thought the course could help me transition back into the dating game. I took the 'Intro to the Pleasure Course' in December. This review is based on my own experiences. I found the teachings on the whole to be pretty basic, for someone like me who has been to an Ashram and taken Yoga Teacher qualifications I found the spiritual portion (Day1) to pretty superficial and lacking in real substance. Now, I can see how for someone 'new' to spirituality this might be sufficient but it didn't hit a chord for me. In all, even the relationship advice and suggested practices didn't resonate with me at all. Especially Day 3 was odd. It seemed that Erwan was loosing his cool and even got personal with some of the participants, who had asked a seemingly innocuous question. I kept and open mind and discovered nothing new. Good to know where I stand in relation to some of these types of courses offered, I just wish I could've learned that without wasting my time and money... ces't la vie. read more

My boyfriend and I attended EDT's The Pleasure Course in November of last year. The leaders are funny, engaging, and supportive. The people in the community are kind and open hearted. I've found lessons taught in EDT are practical and easy to implement. I was surprised at how simple and effective some of the communication techniques are--communication cycle, for example. Through implementing the teachings and having deeper conversations, my boyfriend and I have grown closer and have a newfound appreciation for growing together in a relationship. Erwan and Alicia are terrific! They are smart, honest, they do tons of research on their material and they deliver their programs with love and respect. I've been participating in their programs for the last 3 and a half years and have taken the Pleasure Course, the Oracle, the Sensuality Expansion Program and have even done one on one coaching with Alicia. It has all been great and has made a HUGE difference in my love life. I started by taking the Pleasure Course because I felt really lost when it came to relationships. Dating was like always waiting for when they were going to figure out that I had no idea what I was doing. And when it came to a relationship, I wanted all or nothing and was pretty insistent about it. Fun and light was something I felt good at pretending how to do. In the Pleasure Course, I really learned how to relax and to not try to force things that didn't feel good or right. I got a sense of playfulness back and have learned how to really enjoy all of my interactions with women, regardless of whether or not we're in a relationship. I love my girlfriend so much and I feel as if I have even more capacity to love her and appreciate her than I could have when we started dating two and a half years ago. I've been participating in courses from Erwan Davon Teachings for nearly a year. When I started, I was resigned to being in a series of short-term romantic relationships for the rest of my life. But through Erwan's coaching, I've seen that a long-lasting and increasingly exciting relationship is possible. Though I had heard by word of mouth that the Pleasure Course was fantastic, the enthusiasm for it was gushing beyond belief. I'm skeptical by nature, and the more people seem to be enamored with something, the more convinced I am that it's not for me. That was until I ended up single, without prospects, and frankly too embarrassed to seek out new dating opportunities anywhere other than online. The seed that had been planted in my mind about the Pleasure Course germinated then, and I contacted Alicia Davon to see if it might be right for me. For someone who generally doesn't like to talk much about dating, relationships, and sex life, I found it refreshingly easy to speak with Alicia about what I really wanted for myself. I experienced nothing but compassion and support from her end, not even a trace of judgment. With my career and hobbies in great shape already, I was excited to explore the one area of my life where I was a black hole of pessimism. The actual course exceeded my wildest expectations. It is a safe environment to talk at a high level of sophistication about sensitive topics I rarely discuss with my closest friends, and I left armed not only with the knowledge and practices needed to turn my dating life around but also with an unexpected new access to my own spirituality. Moreover, I learned about different dimensions of sensuality and orgasm that blew my mind (even though I consider myself more than adequate in the horizontal orientation -- can't be too good at it!). And, as a bonus, I felt ten times sexier and more desirable than I have in ages! If I had taken this class while in my last relationship, it would have turned out differently. But perhaps the single most remarkable aspect of this education is the great community of people around it. I did the Pleasure Course over eight years ago but the teachings of the course are very much still alive and relevant in my life today. I have been actively participating over the last year and also I'm also a part of an ongoing program with Erwan and Alicia. What I love about the Pleasure Course is that you learn practical and VERY USEFUL skills about male/female dynamic, communication and being present in your body so that you can really FEEL pleasure. About two and a half years ago my fiancé (now my wife) and I decided to take The Pleasure Course from Erwan Davon Teachings. Our relationship has always been super yummy, but we were excited to learn new distinctions from people who've been studying how to maintain the experience of a highly pleasurable life. I've been working with Erwan and Alicia for over 4 years and I couldn't imagine my life without their support and guidance. One way to understand Erwan's teachings is to understand the structure of the introductory course, the Pleasure Course (PC). The first day of this intense, three-day workshop is spent diving deep into your "relationship blueprint." I've a great deal of such work, but the depth and sensitivity of Erwan and Alicia's approach helped me to go deeper than I ever had before. The second day is all about relationships, from pick-up to an "eternal date"--the holy grail of relationships in which things keep getting better and better. And the third day is all about sex, including the secrets to extended orgasm. Nothing is held back in this course, and the course is profound enough to create lasting change. (One small caveat: I found the Sunday afternoon session of the PC difficult because of what I perceived as hard sell to take advanced courses. I highly recommend the Pleasure Course whether you are single or in a relationship! My husband and I did the Pleasure Course when we had only been dating for 6 months.
