I have been going to the Day Spa for eyelash extensions for a year now. They have always felt like they were pulling on my real lashes, clumpy, and would fall out easily after a recent fill. I thought this was all normal. Lately, during my fills, I have felt pain when she is replacing old lashes with new ones. I went to see someone else who took close-up pictures of the work done at the Day Spa. Up to 3 lashes were attached to my real lashes and my real lashes were badly damaged. This explains the pulling feeling I felt and the pain I felt when she pulled off old ones. When I called the Day Spa to report this they tried telling me that this is how fans are done. Not true! Lashes should go on one single lash when applied. Lashes should not be uncomfortable or hurt at all. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

The Day Spa overall is a wonderful location to relax. The showers and sanctuary were open for the first time since Covid started. I enjoy a bit of time in their sanctuary before and after a treatment. They used to have a small waterfall as part of the artwork in the room, but it was redone a few years ago. The room is still lit in a relaxing way, with comfortable chairs and soft music. No spa water yet (thanks again Covid), but plenty of bottled water for you. My treatment today was with Andrea for a deep tissue massage. She listened to what areas I wanted focus on. The massage was not quite as deep as normal, but since I specifically asked for relief in a few areas, I wanted to see what the result was. The treatment was firm and focused deep on a few key areas. While I could have handled a deeper treatment, I feel amazing right now. I did not realize my neck was tight, and my shoulder feels great! Trust the technician :) As for some of the older posts which show some disappointment. I can tell you my husband has purchased gift cards for me in the past; no putting money "on account". Also, please let the team at the front desk know if you are not familiar with the processes at their spa. If you verify what services you are to have during your visit, you will have a lovely experience. read more

Came in for a 1-hr massage and 1-hr pedicure. To be honest, I felt rushed the entire time I was there but after minimal headache they were able to accommodate my more relaxed vibe. Massage was ok. I had Adrianne (?)woman covered in tattoos & she was very polite however at the start of the massage, the towel was too hot and actually kinda burned my skin and then at times the pressure was too intense. In asking her about specific services, instead of referring me to a different masseuse for future business, she explained why SHE wasn't trained in that area. She pretty much ignored my feet and front legs/quads/shins. The pedicure was a joke-I'm sorry. There was nothing special about the 1-hour pedicure vs a regular/basic pedicure. Water in tub was warm borderline room temp. The young Mexican girl w/ a new wrist tattoo just took her time and was slower, as if to just draaaag out the service. Conversation was painful but just due to lack of "life experience" (she was 19/I'm 40). I had to remind her 2x of my color. I left with a decent paint job though (so kudos) but bottoms of feet were still alittle rough and didn't receive a decent calf massage (yes, even though I just came from one). read more

So recently moving into the Green Bay Area this is a hidden gem right off tenth ave in De Pere! The staff is so wonderful and the guests always make you feel welcome. This was a great experience. I am on vacation in Green Bay (I know, it seems weird in the winter, don't talk to me) and decided to skip the snow games at Titletown with the rest of my group and get a mani-pedi. First off, I have NO idea what people are talking about when they complain about a rude receptionist. They were all incredibly nice. I mean, they treated me like a dang queen. I was early so I said I would shop around while I waited and I asked about hair products and one of the front desk ladies took me to the salon area and talked to me about hair oils and really helped me pick something. They put my stuff aside until after my services - very nice. Didn't want to carry it around. My mani and pedi were done by Gwen and Tina (and I'm a jerk because I don't know who did which, but to be fair, they didn't introduce themselves). Both were very good and friendly. The pedi was the real star. It was called an "express pedi" and it was more like a spa pedi. Warm towels, exfoliating cream, massage, I don't know what else they'd add. Apparently you get a "foot mask" with the spa pedicure. Um, ok. Anyway, I got the mani next and it was more traditional and I will say it took FOR-FRICKING-EVER to dry. All in all, I recommend The Day Spa. Very nice people and oh by the way it's not that expensive. But everything in Wisconsin is way cheaper than I expect. I recently had a scalp massage as well as the anti-stress treatment, and I cant say enough about how wonderful they both were. I even deemed the scalp massage as my favorite spa service ever received. Korie has an amazing, welcoming energy and puts you at ease instantly. From the moment you walk in to The Day Spa, you get hit with a vibe of complete relaxation. You cross a "bridge" and on both sides of you there's cascading water from water fountains. It also smells amazing! If you're looking for a place that has every service you might want, this is the spa for you. It's hard for me to pick a service that's my favorite, so I'll give you my top 3: the salt glow, the 90 minute massage, and the scalp treatment. They are to die for and I totally recommend them to anyone who needs a day of relaxation. Their facials are amazing as well. Actually, I can't think of a service they provide that isn't amazing! Their prices are a little higher than other places, but it's totally worth it because you know you're getting the best of the best. Alright, so this was my 2nd time to the day spa now, and I can honestly say I don't treat myself to this type of thing normally, so when I do I always hope it exceeds my hopes and expectations. I called to set up my appointment and was greeted by a receptionist that literally treated me like I was a nuisance for asking questions. 2 days prior to my appointment I received a confirmation call by yet another receptionist that seemed less than thrilled to be calling. the day for my appointment finally came and I was so excited! I arrived aprox. 40 minutes before my appointment to fill out paper work and to use the Vichy shower! I was greeted by a receptionist that honestly had a lack of enthusiasm or care for clients I'm not really sure what the issue was with that. she did at least lead me back and get me set up with my robe, shoes and locker ( which she put me in the far bottom corner where there was no room to even get in?) so I'm not sure if the day spa had an utter disregard for me as a person? I took my shower which was absolutely glorious and then went to the sanctuary to relax until my appointment. Trixie, my therapist for the evening greeted me warm and welcoming which was a pleasant surprise given my intial greetings with the receptionist. My exfoliating and hydrating treatment was WONDERFUL. I haven't been that relaxed in ages! that being said I will be back to see Trixie but will continue to keep hope that I will be treated nicer by the receptionists my next visit. read more

I (male) recently went to the Day Spa in De Pere to celebrate my birthday! I did their Celebrate Me Elite package which included four different services, and each one was exquisite. The entire day was over three hours and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My day started with the Anti-Stress Treatment...nothing bad to say...I felt very relaxed after this treatment. I told the gal if she wanted to spend more time on the scalp massage versus the foot massage (since I'm ticklish on my feet) to please feel free, and she definitely did! From there I did the Alpha Massage Capsule for 30 mins. This was probably my least favorite treatment of the day. You slip into this time machine looking thing...they turn it on, it gets super warm, and it vibrates giving you a kind of massage. There are two knobs to adjust the vibration intensity and pattern. Overall it was just okay, the machine broke halfway through and didn't hold the desired temperature...just kept heating up, and one of the vibration knobs stopped working as well. So overall just a meh on that. The next one was the Signature Scalp Treatment. This was probably my favorite treatment of the day. They let you choose from three different elixirs to put in your hair. The massage was amazing!! Lastly was a 30min foot soak where you get a cheesecake sampler tray AND an alcoholic beverage! They had many selections in addition to the wine as advertised. I joked with Lynn, (who was phenomenal with this treatment!!) leave it to Wisconsin to have a full service bar in a spa...but that's how I felt after she rattled off all of the options!! Overall I really enjoyed my day at the Day Spa! I told the receptionist at check out...I've been to several spa's in Los Angeles, and Phoenix (where I live now!) and this spa's customer service far exceeds any of those I've been to! Bravo ladies!! My two little draw backs, and the reason I'm marking 4 instead of 5 stars is due to the Alpha Massage Capsule and it's issues and also the showers in the locker room. There are two showers in the mens locker room (they have several heads and even a steam feature), but they were very outdated and could use a refresh. It would also be amazing to have a standalone sauna in these areas to use before or after the treatments. Everything else was great!! I'll be back! read more

As a first timer to the much talked about "Day Spa," my expectations were high. Overall, it was wonderful and I've already booked my next massage! A couple small things, which would have made my experience the best one yet: the steam showers are a MUST-however I wasn't informed it took over 5 minutes for the shower water to be hot and I stood uncomfortably and cold in the shower for the first 5+ minutes thinking "this can't be right, I must be doing something wrong." Once it got hot it was out of this world!! Secondly, the "sanctuary" where you sit and relax prior to the massage was horribly uncomfortable as I was sitting nude under just a robe, fresh out of the shower-no makeup, wet hair (my choice-there are hair dryers) as other women were also waiting fully dressed/made up for other services. Individual areas or dividers or even a separate sanctuary would be ideal. And then to walk across the building, past customers at service desk, all while again stark naked under my robe was horribly uncomfortable. Please consider some more private ways. Again, I am very pleased overall, but the few moments of awkwardness almost ruined it for me. read more

I was soooo disappointed :-( The receptionists were LESS than happy to see/greet me. I was there on a gift from my children who apparently put "money on an account" for me (which was NOT explained to me UNTIL I was leaving) My actual massage was nice, I am a runner and am accustomed to deep tissue, so this was far different from that, but nice. The "locker" room was just that...A person showed me into it unlocked a locker and said "here's a robe, do you want slippers" I had NO clue what was going on, never been here before...HAD no idea where things were, what to expect, but WOAH, had to WALK THRU the reception area, not once, BUT TWICE, once, fresh out of my massage, lookin' great with my hair all a mess...yeah THANKS FOR THAT, I LOVE walking thru a public area in a robe lookin' like hell...NO THANK YOU. I was supposed to get a sauna treatment (or something) as well, they mentioned that after I had taken a shower and was drying my hair, UMMM, REALLY??? yeah THANKS...I am clean now, I really don't want to get undressed and get all sweaty again, are you SERIOUS? Shouldn't this have been mentioned maybe prior to my shower, or ON THE WAY THRU the reception area? Not like you and everyone else in there didn't see me :-/ I am sad that my children spent their had earned cash on something that was supposed to be really awesome for me, and the people that SHOULD have made this awesome, don't really care if I EVER come back (which is a shame as I DO get massages at LEAST once a month) THANKS, I'll stick with my regular girl, she cares and it SHOWS. read more

As my previous reviews show I was in the high end salon/spa business for more than 10 years. That said, The day spa will exceed expectations. You will get what you pay for, and pay you will. Great Product lines , Experienced Knowledgeable Staff, Professional Service from start to finish (although the person on the phone has room for improvement - call was 3/2010). I love coming here! Beautiful decor that changes seasonally. Gift shop style items are available for purchase. They staff is always welcoming and help you to relax during your services. They offer many different styles of massage, salon services for hair, nails and make up. Also state of the art equipment such as infrared saunas and high tech machines that are used during skin exfoliating treatments including facials. Also, that staff members are gorgeous! They all make a great example of high quality products that I know they all use personally. read more

The Day Spa is fantastic! Rachel is AMAZING. The hour massage was absolutely delicious-- possibly the best massage I've had, and I've been to places in all the big cities. Great ambiance, restful decor, wonderful lighting, kind staff, relaxing "sanctuary" area. Rachel even gave me a complete tour afterwards and demonstrated specific stretches for my tense shoulders. I am in heaven and will be going back as frequently as my bank account can stand it!!! My only complaint is that when I arrived for my 3:30pm appointment at 3:15, both reception folks were busy with people booking really elaborate packages that took a long time, so I didn't get checked in until about 3:30 exactly. I'd suggest checking in clients ASAP so they're not waiting behind people with really time-intensive needs. Otherwise, a perfect experience. Yummy tea in the sanctuary, too. :) read more

i was really disappointed with my experience at the day spa. the receptionist was short and did not treat us like valued consumers. didn't explain the process or where to go. we sat on cheap pleather chairs in the too bright waiting room while we filled out the paper work on tin cheap clinic looking. i would have expected to fill out my paperwork while lounging in a robe and soaking my feet in a dimly lit spa room. it was my birthday, so i asked if i could have a class of champagne, the receptionist told me no. she then led my husband and i to separate locker rooms, which i can only describe as "about as luxurious as a YMCA locker room". bathroom completely outdated and not clean, lockers too small, and if you want to take a shower/rinse before and after your massage, they charge you an extra $15 (!!!). so you get undressed and into your robe and then you have to walk back through teh waiting area!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the locker room is not connected to the spa area. so there was an old man at the check-in desk and i had to stroll by naked with a robe on. talk about lack of luxury - my goodness. the massage therapists then arrived to get us 5 minutes late and by the time we got undressed and set up on the table, the massage was actually only about 50 minutes... instead of the hour, that we paid an arm and a leg for. the massage room was WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too bright. it was actually really uncomfortable to me how brightly lit the room was. aren't spas/massage rooms supposed to be dim and calming?? so that the therapist isn't staring at your face while she massages your arms and legs? so strange to me. the cherry on top was that the receptionist makes you tell her the gratuity amount out loud in the middle of the waiting room when she runs your card? then you have to slip the money into an envelope on the counter. i would give this place zero stars if i could. my experience was awful and not worth the money by a long shot. go to salon aura instead of the day spa.... so luxurious, they treat you like valued customers, and it's not nearly as expensive. i just can't stress enough how disappointed i was with this place. i am flabbergasted that people consider this a "spa experience". hmmm? read more

Disappointed ! Overpriced for the quality of service I usually go to the day spa to get my nails done and it is usually great.. but this time... not so much. I usually have JoJo but this time I had someone else. I scheduled a shellac mani and "spa pedicure". The spa pedicure, which cost $84 dollars, was a complete waste of money. The nail tech barely used the scrub (she only used it on my feet and since I was a little ticklish she stopped after about 30 seconds), did not put ANY EFFORT into the heel file, she was barely even pressing on my heel. The foot massage was bad and to top it off she also kept looking at the little clock in the room since this pedicure is supposed to last 90 minutes. This explains why she took FOREVER to paint my toenails and then left me sitting in the chair to "let my nails dry" for at least 10 minutes before my next service (my shellac manicure) Even with all this wasted time it did not last 90 minutes The shellac manicure was supposed to be a french tip- looked nothing like it. She told me to pick a color to go underneath the white tip.. which I thought was supposed to be clear? Anyways, the color underneath turned out to be a strong nude (even though she suggested it), you couldn't even see the white tip. Besides the fact it was poorly done and looked nothing like what I wanted--it didn't even last a week! The polish literally lifted off the nails in whole pieces today, and I got the service done 5 days ago.. it is supposed to last 2 weeks. Although I love the atmosphere at the day spa I am not sure I will be back. I spent almost $200 dollars on my nails for absolutely nothing. read more

Right off the bat I would say I don't absolutely LOVE the day spa...yet I keep going back. The reason I don't LOVE it is b/c not every massage therapist is great there. Now I get a lot of massages, usually every 3 weeks. I started going to the Day Spa b/c I could book last minute and usually get in with someone. Most of the therapists I have had there (Which is a lot) are good, but not great. Until the day I went to Robin. She is absolutely AMAZING and I continually go back to her when I can. Very disappointed in my Express manicure (40.00) Saturday morning 11/23/2013. I feel ripped off! No top coat and no cutting of my cuticles which was needed. I ran to do some errands after and by the time I got home the tips had no polish left. I went back to the website to read the description and It seems like I just got a quick polish (which I provided!) No going back for me. read more

The staff is all very helpful and nice, answering any questions or concerns nicely. Make sure you arrive extra early and have plenty of time after your appointment to take advantage of their steam showers and relaxation areas. I have only gone there to get a body wrap but plan on making an appointment for our 5 year anniversary this November for massages and maybe some splurge stuff like pedicures. They are more expensive but with such nice facilities and staff I will gladly pay. read more
