Before sharing sensitive details, I directly asked the staff whether they had spoken with my wife or were representing her. I was told no. I relied on that answer and proceeded to disclose private and sensitive information about my divorce and circumstances. I later developed reason to believe there may have been prior contact or a potential conflict involving my wife. Had I been told that before discussing my case, I would never have disclosed anything. For a family-law firm dealing with highly confidential and adversarial matters, prospective clients need to be able to trust that conflicts are properly checked before they are encouraged to discuss sensitive information. I have retained documentation of my communications with the office and have submitted the matter to the appropriate professional authorities for review. Based strictly on my personal experience, I would not recommend this office.
