Wish I could have given this firm negative stars. In 2010, I had made the decision to inevitably divorce my husband but had to wait for the kids to get old enough to be able to get them out of the state of Georgia to be near family after the divorce. In November of 2018, I went to interview Mike Birchmore because the time had arrived to follow through with the divorce full steam ahead. In January 2019, I went back to Mike Birchmore to put down a retainer fee. In that meeting, he commented on how he hoped that the holidays had changed my mind as though some miracle of God had changed my husband. Over the next 8 months, Mike Birchmore pissed away nearly $10,000 dollars on emails, filings, and pure nothingness. In September of 2019, one of his final filings that cost me research, filing, and phone calls, Mike Brichmore and paralegals chased a phantom piece of property by filing a Les Pen Des with the courts. This piece of property had been sold by my now ex-husband on August 31, 2000, yet Birchmore filed for it to be a part of my alimony settlement. The monies from this incomplete research and useless filing to the court was never reimbursed to my account, even though I had spoken to the paralegal about it, showing her documentation from the courthouse, ( that I went to personally get on the bogus property), I even had her make a copy to show Mike and get the leg work time taken off my bill to no avail. Mike Birchmore could never retain any information I gave him and that his team, as well as himself, are all about lining their pockets while looking out for the opponent and financially raping their client. Even after I let them go in late September, because I could no longer afford them without progress happening, he sent me to collections. Daniels and Taylor received the monies due to them from the sale of the marital home and now, they send me another bill for $1,465.45. This after Daniels and Taylor received the full amount, including accrued interest charges. In addition to this new bill, Birchmore billed me a charge of $105 dollars, that is being billed to me for his phone conversation and email with the closing attorney for the sale of the house and the portion that was due to clear the lien on the marital home. When is he going to quit harassing me for a bill that has already been paid in full? "DON'T WALK OUT OF THIS MAN'S OFFICE, RUN LIKE HELL! " YOU TOOK FOOD OUT OF MY KIDS MOUTHS AND GAVE ME NOTHING TO SHOW FOR MY MONEY! AFTER HIRING A DIFFERENT ATTORNEY TO HANDLE MY CASE, MY CHILDREN AND I ARE LIVING HAPPILY IN FLORIDA AMONGST FAMILY NO THANKS TO THE DANIELS AND TAYLOR LAW FIRM!!! - Hope M. read more

I wish I did my research before I hire this law firm. The attorneys are unprofessional and unqualified. my divorce case was straightforward and I offered 50/50 to my ex-wife. The firm extended my case for one year and five month. after it drained my money and mistreated me on several occasions and transferred me to more attorneys, the case was resolved through mediation and I ended up losing everything. I lost my house , paid her attorney fees and forced to pay alimony. The attorneys who were assigned to my case provided me with no legal advice or guidance. Over all I paid 60000 dollars and all I got was disappointment. I would not recommend this firm or its attorneys to anyone. I just don't want anyone to go through what I we through. Witnesses were present and signed each document PRIOR to any reviews or signatures on our part as they were "in a hurry". We raised objections but they were quickly dismissed. We asked for detailed explainations of each document we were signing and felt very rushed. The final wills were never presented for review. We were told by the person filling in (?who she was, she introduced herself once but we never got a clear understanding, ? think she was some kind of assistant) near the conclusion of the meeting that she was in a hurry and needed to go to pick up her kids! Elaine was sick, but had been sick over a week. The practice clearly had time to notify us to reschedule. All for naught; we wasted $3,500 on USELESS wills and trusts that need to be redone by a special needs attorney for our son's special needs trust. Elaine was very well aware that we needed a special needs trust from the beginning and she (copiously) informed us she was NOT a special needs attorney. However, we had no idea of the implications of this (special needs attorney should always be seen FIRST to avoid wasting your time and money). We felt abandoned after our final meeting and then the relationship with Elaine turned hostile when we confronted her with the situation regarding her having to have KNOWN that the special needs trusts need to be done FIRST. Despite our reaching out regarding changes of beneficiaries not going througg and a request to review a brief 2 paragraph letter to family explaining what the documents were, we were rudely rebuffed by Elaine that her services had been concluded. The percentages of distribution to our non-special needs children in the conduit trust was INCORRECT. When we tried to rectify this, we were told in no uncertain terms that our relationship was now "concluded" (ie, payment had been received, I assume) - leaving us with INCORRECT, useless documents. Would definately NOT RECOMMEND Elaine Levine!!!! I should add that a while after everything was completed (we thought), an associate in her office reviewed our file and reached out to say a part of the paperwork was never received. This paperwork was mailed to us and when I called back for further instructions, Elaine got one the phone and was exceptionally rude, stating that since she read my review on line and knew how I felt about her, she wouldn't be helping us any longer and that we could just keep the unsigned paperwork her office sent. She made it clear that she had NO INTENTION of completing our file. She made sure all communication thereafter was terminated. HORRIBLE PROFESSIONALISM!!!!!!! What a waste of time and money!!!! Sickening.
