We did time our outing perfectly, right off a week of excessive rain, everything was brilliantly green and putting through golden hour helped us ignore the amateur arrangement of this setup. I'm sure this is near the bottom of options for professionals and sorely needs to fix those eye sores along with enhancing their drink options to happily treat more appetites. But try Fairlakes with low expectations! I question some of the hole handicaps, some of the par3's are harder than the par5's. All of the par4's are relatively short, its quite easy to get within ~75 yards of the green for most. Concessions are totally affordable, some of the best beer & snack prices I've ever come across!

I had a chicken sandwich that had cheddar cheese and bacon. The food was delicious, and the portions perfect. I actually could not finish my sandwich and fries although that may be because we tried two different appetizers! I highly recommend the food here!

The upstairs balcony overlooks all the courts and includes a kitchen for social gatherings. Downstairs, you have a nice bathroom, sauna, and private work out area--with personal training and development available. The staff is really the muscle of this place. If you're not feeling the vibe or pace of Four Seasons, Gold's, or LA, come to Evergreen Tennis. Not just to play the great game of tennis, but to have fun while working out your mind and body. It's $34/hour for a lane and for three people, we were able to get two games in, so, about $5.67 per game. Not terrible! We went at 1pm on a Sunday and the place was so big that we had no problem getting a lane, which is nice when you don't have to wait. You can choose between glow or normal bowling, and the folks at the counter and bar were all very nice. I also saw someone cleaning the tables each time a party left, that's awesome! So clean! Actually it has an interesting history itself. The zoo has its own business page on Yelp. As for the rest of the park, there's other stuff worth exploring. There's a pretty big lake. Go take a walk across the stone bridge. The park also has a mini golf course and softball fields among other things. Also check out a preserved steam locomotive. There's also a pavilion for those wanting to have a picnic. Has lots of activities throughout the year including festivals and fireworks. It's located east of Morris Avenue and south of Wood Street. They also have entertainment such as outdoor theater.
