We sat and waited as what we can only assume were regular customers left. Then it was just us and the young man and his female companion sitting in booths. One customer walked behind the counter and chatted up the cook for a good 10 minutes, all the while we are waiting for our order. Finally I got up and walked to the counter as the customer left and the cook scurried back into the kitchen. The young man got up from his booth and asked me what I wanted to order. I had to tell him that I was still awaiting my order. He went back into the kitchen and brought out the plates that obviously had been ready and sitting there. The burgers were not tasty and they were slightly on the cold side from sitting around. The fries were inedible, lacking flavor. Even salt didn't help those greasy planks of old potato. This place really needs an overhaul. I shuddder to think of the cleanliness issues that may be lurking in the kitchen. This place may have been great in a time gone by, but today you should just pass on by.

I recently heard they are adding several more locations along I-40, which makes sense because people clearly cannot get enough of this place.
