Buc-ee's is a phenomenon, one of those uniquely American businesses that has developed its own personality and culture that has literal followers. Yes, it may just be a gigantic gas station and a huge convenience store, but its 70+ bathroom stalls, and every kind of beef jerky imaginable, hundreds of snacks, freshly prepared brisket, 20+ kinds of icees and drinks, and an entire section of merch, seem to make it much more than that. I dropped by this Amarillo, Texas Buc-ee's on my road trip back to California from Indianapolis. It's just as huge, if not bigger, than other ones I've visited and, also like other Buc-ee's crawling with people! It seems like people can't get enough of this place. I tried the fresh brisket (sliced and also diced) and it was amazing. Also don't pass up on the beaver nuggets! So tasty! Of course I also left with a Bud-ee's shirt, for me and the fam. I recently heard they are adding several more locations along I-40, which makes sense because people clearly cannot get enough of this place. If you have never been to a Buc-ee's, it is worth stopping at least once. It can even make for a fun road trip destination just so you can say you experienced it. And, with any luck, you might even get to meet the beaver!
Chopped brisket smothered in Buc-ee's own barbecue sauce piled on a fresh bun. Cute variety of sandwiches, mac & cheese salad, fresh fruit cups. Great to stop and get your breakfast or lunch or dinner reasonably priced along with some great Buc-ee souvenirs.
Sweet Home Alabuc-ee's! I will sing the praises of my third Buc-ee's store, but I won't have the Muscle Shoals Swampers backing me up since they're on the opposite side of Alabama! Well, it turns out that three is a charm and I actually remembered to checkin to this location. I think I was in awe at my first couple of Buc-ee's that it slipped my mind. This location is similar to the other locations I've been too. It is huge, has everything you need, and the restrooms are top notch. I was able to score my first Buc-ee's T-shirt. It is a quality shirt and the cotton is super soft! What friendly Alabama employees here! It was my first time visiting Alabama and next time maybe I'll stay on the beach road and take Buc-ee with me to the beach!
This may be my favorite Buc-ee's after trying a bunch through a short stay in the area. The customer service is on point. The gas wasn't half-bad price wise. The store had a nice flow to it without it being extra confusing. We did have to cut things short after we ended up in a softball sized hail warning. We shall return!
It's no secret that I love buc-ee's. In fact, if I see one whether I need to or not, I have to stop. Even if only for for using the ultra clean restrooms. But you know you can't go to buc-ee's for just that. You end up walking out $30 poorer. This particular buc-ee's is huge, super easy access to get here and well worth the walk. The nice part is there is usually parking out front of the store so you don't have to walk 1,500 mi to get in and get your stuff. One of the cool things about buc-ee's in general is everything in its place. You can find anything you want here, especially buc-ee's branded apparel. I think I have about 12 t-shirts in my closet. But I can't not go to buc-ee's and not get a t-shirt. It's some sort of sickness that I'm super glad I have not recovered from. Of course, the brisket is the star here and you can't go without picking up a chopped brisket sandwich. I've been trying to watch my cholesterol but but hey, I'm in Texas. Damn the torpedoes! It's great walking around and hearing them yell when the brisket gets on the table. Definitely like Disneyland for adults. There really is so much to see in doing buc-ee's. I love it and I would gladly give my right arm to own one. Bottom line? Buc-ee's, you have my heart, my soul, and my admiration. Whenever I see the golden beaver I will always stop and pick up something. Thank goodness there's not one by my house in Las Vegas, otherwise I would be depositing my check into their account and just have credit at the store.
Easy to get to lots of parking. Clean bathrooms. Lots of food choies/drinks/snacks. They sell clothes/housewares. Fun place to stop. Got their chopped brisket sandwich was kinda expensive but was delicous!!
Buc-ee's is an absolute playground especially after a long day of driving. I love the fresh made items, especially the burritos and tacos. Their tortillas are perfectly cooked and so soft. I also love their coffee bar -- it's great to be able to control just how much milk you'd like in your coffee. The iced coffee is on the light side, perhaps a bit watered down by the ice. They also have a plethora of dessert options. We tried the banana pudding and it was absolutely perfect. I know banana pudding abounds in the south, but they are one of the most generously portioned and consistently delicious banana pudding options.
Amarillo by afternoon stop on our way back east. We're hungry for a late lunch. It's quick stop to grab our favorite barbecue tasty fares and chicken and fries. Oh yes, picking up a refreshing fruit bowl too. We fueled up the truck at their convenience fuel station. This place is a one stop for everything. It's a must stop and highly recommended.

My 1st experience at a Buc-ee's, got gas, went inside and wow, for a gas station that was big, I picked up a biscuit egg sausage meal, not the greatest, maybe would of needed hot sauce or something, just a little bland, other then that, it was a good experience, especially with customer service, very friendly.
Great as usual. Got a couple just made turkey sandwiches. I'm curious, why no WiFi? A car wash would be helpful too

Passing by Amarillo TX and had to come by Buc-ee's to see what all the hype was about. Such a cute place with lots to explore! So many great variety of snacks and food. You can definitely spend more than an hour exploring here.
I mean, what can I say? It's a Buc-ee's. In Texas. The moment I walked in I could smell the brisket. The size, selection, amenities, staff, and product are amazing. There's so many fueling stations. We stop by every time we're in the state and stock up on the stuff you can't get anywhere else. This is truly one of those places you have to see and experience for yourself. read more
During a trip to Missouri, we stopped at Buc-ee's, and we were truly impressed! The gas station is huge, featuring around 100 pumps per location What I loved most was the restroom--it was incredibly clean, spacious, and well-maintained. After a long drive, having such a clean and comfortable place to stop was fantastic. Buc-ee's offers a massive selection of snacks and chips--you're spoiled for choice. The prepared meats and snacks are delicious, too. The jerky section is a highlight: there's a counter selling fresh jerky by the pound, alongside a wall filled with pre-packaged options. There are so many flavors to choose from, and you can even try samples! It was a really fun stop on our trip--clean, convenient, full of tasty food, and packed with things to explore. It's definitely worth a visit if you ever find yourself near a Buc-ee's! read more

Passing by Amarillo TX and had to come by Buc-ee's to see what all the hype was about. Such a cute place with lots to explore! So many great variety of snacks and food. You can definitely spend more than an hour exploring here. read more

Buc-ee's - big yes, many gas pumps yes, overpriced yes, impressive no. There was nothing inside the gas station that impressed me. Not even my kids were impressed. Gas was more expensive than across the highway. read more

The biggest Bucees I've seen to date! I lost count of how many pumps, but ample parking spaces near the store. Today they were popping out brisket and pulled pork, fried chicken sandwiches, taco, burritos, etc to keep up with the influx of customers. There were alot of people, as it normally is at a Bucees. The cashier was running two registers to keep the lines down and they were yelling their welcomes as every person walked through the doors. Restrooms were spotless and shelves were stocked. There was no lack of goodies. Bucee himself was there giving out waves and hugs! Getting out of the parking lot took some time but eventually we did and eventually we were on the road again. Just please be patient and kind, the Texas way! read more
If your not from here, this should be on your to-do list. If your about 30 min out, its worth it. I drove 2 hours to come by lunch and snacks. Im from Cali, so this is a treat. I mean they make the food fresh, roasted nuts if different kinds( my fav are the cashews). This is the place yo buy souvenirs for sure. Bathrooms are always clean, staff always nice, many cashiers to help, you never really gave to wait. Plenty of pumps. This is a must for travelers. read more

This place is no mere gas station. There is so much merch with the mascot on it. The bbq was unreal! Had a brisket sandwich, chicken fingers and fries, and candied pecans. All for the food was really good! Hope to get back next time I am driving through. read more

Stopped at Buc-ee's in Amarillo on my drive to Tennessee, and it was the perfect place to take a break. The store was incredibly clean, well stocked, and had just about everything you could need for a road trip. The food was fresh, the restrooms were spotless, and the staff kept everything running smoothly even though it was busy. It's definitely a must-stop anytime I'm passing through. read more
Stopped here to meet the new owners of one of our foster dogs who now lives in Texas. This is one of the newest in Texas and simple huge. Everything about Buc-ee's is great and they are consistent. Plenty of gas pumps, lots of grass areas for dogs, and huge extremely clean restrooms. They have delicious and great variety of food, drink and, snacks, and of course tons of merchandise. Staff is friendly, helpful and personable. read more

I have literally never heard of Buc-ee's like ever and my husband pumped me up about it way before I even looked it up, so I was excited to check it out. I guess Buc-ee's is a big deal out here for tourists. It's basically a fancy truckstop and a must for us out of towners. There's something for everyone in the family so make sure to bring everyone! There's tons of gas pumps outside so you know you won't have a wait time, but that's not all!! They have everything you need inside for your trip. We mainly came to check out the food... as always! ;-) Food did not disappoint! The brisket was really good and I highly recommend the brisket breakfast burrito! It's sooo good! Even the tortilla was bomb, it tasted homemade and it was warmed up properly. If you're in a rush to grab a few items, this is not the place for you. You need to be able to look around to get a good glance. I will definitely come back, but the next time I need to slow it down a notch because I was extremely overwhelmed and over stimulated that I did not know where to start and what to get. Me, my son and my husband went our separate ways since we all got distracted, but we all ended up getting a little bit of everything. My advice to you is not to go on an empty stomach like us because we grabbed everything and anything as soon as we walked in and from the time we walked out. read more

I never drive past Buc-ee's without stopping. You just can't find food like this back in California. The place is huge, super clean, and the food is on another level. I highly recommend trying the brisket here. It's insanely good and honestly impossible to stay neutral about. Great food, great stop, and totally worth the visit every time. read more
This was our third Buc-ee's on our roadtrip and we came here at 2:30am! I love that they are open that late because there was no wait for anything! Easy to get gas and snacks before continuing with no huge crowds of people.we love Buc-ee's and this made the trip that much more fun! read more

Conveniently located close to the airport, so we stopped to grab some lunch. I got chicken burrito and beaver chips. Appreciated how cheesy the chicken burrito was. Always an easy place to stop as there are so many options so everyone can get what they want. read more

I'm a total Buc-ee's snob! My boyfriend created a monster when he brought me here the first time a couple months ago on a roadtrip to Chicago. Now I'm hooked & cannot wait for the Goodyear, Arizona location to be built & opened! They have so much to see here & this store is very clean, organized, & well stocked. Also the friendliest people! The brisket sandwich is a must try! If you love beef jerky then you'll enjoy the jerky here, as it's the best around! They offer everything from snacks to outdoor gear. Be sure to grab yourself a Buc-ee's souvenir as well! read more
Nice normal bucees. This one has a large mural in the back. The lady that walked around with the bucees mascot gave free stickers! This is what you expect in a bucees, not really in the mascot and stickers part. That's kind of rare.... For me at least read more

I absolutely 100% recommend Buc-ees at all times. I get so excited flying to Texas (yes I know the are in some other areas) because I know I will get to go to this truck stop. Is it ever a stop for me just for gas? UH No. Listen want clean bathrooms this place always sets the standard. There are drink walls (yep drinks for entire walls) including 4-5 fountain type stations and then cooler cases. There are barbecue areas with a ton of fresh options (brisket, pork, chicken, etc etc etc), fresh jerky counter (think meat counter but just for their jerky - try Bohemian Garlic and Steakhouse they are amazing), hot nuts areas (yep they actually roast and rotate the nuts themselves), fudge counter, snacks walls and candy walls. Pretty much any snack you want they have. I LOVE their rice krispy treats and cookie dough bites as well, They have pickle packs, lunch meat packs (think snackables for adults), crackers, chips etc. They also have sundries and then an entire half of the store is also gifts and fun things to get for others or yourself to remember the area you are in and/or get gifts for others. They also have a whole outdoor area to get camping etc supplies. Service is also always amazing. Need something just ask. My only complaint is that they don't allow Semi's. I guess I kinda understand why but also not really. If the root cause is a messy area then address that. Don't prevent the truckers from this amazing store. Something to think about ... read more

Everything we could wish for our first Buc-ee's experience. We really enjoyed the Korean bbq beef jerky. We bought the brisket sandwich and beast breakfast burrito. Super delicious for breakfast and lunch. The banana pudding was 5/5 - I recommend it! Made a vanilla latte for myself which was perfect for our road trip. read more
