Sweet Home Alabuc-ee's! I will sing the praises of my third Buc-ee's store, but I won't have the Muscle Shoals Swampers backing me up since they're on the opposite side of Alabama! Well, it turns out that three is a charm and I actually remembered to checkin to this location. I think I was in awe at my first couple of Buc-ee's that it slipped my mind. This location is similar to the other locations I've been too. It is huge, has everything you need, and the restrooms are top notch. I was able to score my first Buc-ee's T-shirt. It is a quality shirt and the cotton is super soft! What friendly Alabama employees here! It's no secret that I love buc-ee's. In fact, if I see one whether I need to or not, I have to stop. Even if only for for using the ultra clean restrooms. But you know you can't go to buc-ee's for just that. You end up walking out $30 poorer. This particular buc-ee's is huge, super easy access to get here and well worth the walk. The nice part is there is usually parking out front of the store so you don't have to walk 1,500 mi to get in and get your stuff. One of the cool things about buc-ee's in general is everything in its place. You can find anything you want here, especially buc-ee's branded apparel. I think I have about 12 t-shirts in my closet. But I can't not go to buc-ee's and not get a t-shirt. It's some sort of sickness that I'm super glad I have not recovered from. Of course, the brisket is the star here and you can't go without picking up a chopped brisket sandwich. I've been trying to watch my cholesterol but but hey, I'm in Texas. Damn the torpedoes! It's great walking around and hearing them yell when the brisket gets on the table. Definitely like Disneyland for adults. There really is so much to see in doing buc-ee's. I love it and I would gladly give my right arm to own one. Bottom line? Buc-ee's, you have my heart, my soul, and my admiration. Whenever I see the golden beaver I will always stop and pick up something. This may be my favorite Buc-ee's after trying a bunch through a short stay in the area. The customer service is on point. The gas wasn't half-bad price wise. The store had a nice flow to it without it being extra confusing. We did have to cut things short after we ended up in a softball sized hail warning. We shall return! read more

Buc-ee's is an absolute playground especially after a long day of driving. I love the fresh made items, especially the burritos and tacos. Their tortillas are perfectly cooked and so soft. I also love their coffee bar -- it's great to be able to control just how much milk you'd like in your coffee. The iced coffee is on the light side, perhaps a bit watered down by the ice. They also have a plethora of dessert options. We tried the banana pudding and it was absolutely perfect. I know banana pudding abounds in the south, but they are one of the most generously portioned and consistently delicious banana pudding options. read more

The only Buc-ee's I've been to that doesn't allow overnight parking for customers. They're missing out on a lot of business from folks who would buy stuff before catching some zzzz's and then again when they wake up. I will just go to Sam's Club next time. The biggest Bucees I've seen to date! I lost count of how many pumps, but ample parking spaces near the store. Today they were popping out brisket and pulled pork, fried chicken sandwiches, taco, burritos, etc to keep up with the influx of customers. There were alot of people, as it normally is at a Bucees. The cashier was running two registers to keep the lines down and they were yelling their welcomes as every person walked through the doors. Restrooms were spotless and shelves were stocked. There was no lack of goodies. Bucee himself was there giving out waves and hugs! Getting out of the parking lot took some time but eventually we did and eventually we were on the road again. Overrated food, but such a huge selection that you can please the whole van of road trippers with the sheer number of choices. Buc-ee's is the best place to stop mainly for gas and restrooms. The turkey BBQ sandwich, brisket BBQ sandwich, Buc-ee's salt and vinegar chips, chocolate covered almonds, overbites (peanut butter cups), and breakfast burritos are all meh. Edible but I wouldn't buy again, except for the breakfast burrito, which is pretty good aside from the overly dry hash browns and bacon. My husband really likes the cinnamon sugar pecans. And we always pick up peach rings for my sister-in-law. Is this better than a truck stop? For a meal, yes (but I prefer any actual sandwich shop), for some snacks, no. Mainstream brands taste better. However, my travel mates always want to stop here for the novelty, and it breaks up the monotony of a long trip. read more

I have literally never heard of Buc-ee's like ever and my husband pumped me up about it way before I even looked it up, so I was excited to check it out. I guess Buc-ee's is a big deal out here for tourists. It's basically a fancy truckstop and a must for us out of towners. There's something for everyone in the family so make sure to bring everyone! There's tons of gas pumps outside so you know you won't have a wait time, but that's not all!! They have everything you need inside for your trip. We mainly came to check out the food... as always! ;-) Food did not disappoint! The brisket was really good and I highly recommend the brisket breakfast burrito! It's sooo good! Even the tortilla was bomb, it tasted homemade and it was warmed up properly. If you're in a rush to grab a few items, this is not the place for you. You need to be able to look around to get a good glance. I will definitely come back, but the next time I need to slow it down a notch because I was extremely overwhelmed and over stimulated that I did not know where to start and what to get. Me, my son and my husband went our separate ways since we all got distracted, but we all ended up getting a little bit of everything. 6/30/26 We really love Buc-ee's and when we saw this one in Amarillo, we were excited to make it our go to stop in this town. However, this particular one has terrible service and the young girl acting as manager is not enforcing rules. There were at least 10 dogs inside the store, mind you, not service dogs but pets of various sizes, some very large! Even in the bathroom stall there was a lady with a large dog. Probably because there is no shade anywhere in the parking lot but also, crappy dog owners because all the grassy areas are covered in dog poop. We bought snacks and popcorn that was stale and they were not willing to exchange them. Zero care for customer satisfaction. The gas station does not have tools to clean your windshield and the cashier was extremely rude, not the usual case for Buc-ee's. Overall, extremely sad and dissatisfied with this location, they have much to make up for to live up to the Buc-ee's reputation!! read more

Now I'm hooked & cannot wait for the Goodyear, Arizona location to be built & opened! They have so much to see here & this store is very clean, organized, & well stocked. Also the friendliest people! I absolutely 100% recommend Buc-ees at all times. I get so excited flying to Texas (yes I know the are in some other areas) because I know I will get to go to this truck stop. Is it ever a stop for me just for gas? UH No. Listen want clean bathrooms this place always sets the standard. There are drink walls (yep drinks for entire walls) including 4-5 fountain type stations and then cooler cases. There are barbecue areas with a ton of fresh options (brisket, pork, chicken, etc etc etc), fresh jerky counter (think meat counter but just for their jerky - try Bohemian Garlic and Steakhouse they are amazing), hot nuts areas (yep they actually roast and rotate the nuts themselves), fudge counter, snacks walls and candy walls. Pretty much any snack you want they have. I LOVE their rice krispy treats and cookie dough bites as well, They have pickle packs, lunch meat packs (think snackables for adults), crackers, chips etc. They also have sundries and then an entire half of the store is also gifts and fun things to get for others or yourself to remember the area you are in and/or get gifts for others. They also have a whole outdoor area to get camping etc supplies. Service is also always amazing. Need something just ask. My only complaint is that they don't allow Semi's. I guess I kinda understand why but also not really. If the root cause is a messy area then address that. Don't prevent the truckers from this amazing store. Something to think about ... read more

And super efficient with the red light green light system to know if a stall is occupied The brisket sandwich is BOMB and so are the beaver chips (fresh potato chips) They have a lot of variety but they have things in multiple sections so that there are no traffic jams in the store Lots of registers so even though it's packed we didn't have to wait in line I took off points because some of the shit in there is truly unnecessary and even though there are a million gas pumps people can't drive so it was chaotic and stressful Final review: worth the stop if it's on your way somewhere, unless you want to try the food I wouldn't go out of my way read more

1st time at this location, 2nd Buc-ee's ever visited. They do not disappoint. All locations pretty much have the same lay-out, some just have more gas pumps than others (at least 100 pumps). Fuel was only $2.479/gal during my visit so I had more $ for snacks. They also have a big grassy area for dogs to do their business in. Staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and they do give free samples for their jerky ($29.99/lb) but worth it to have good snacks when on a road trip. Plenty of clean restrooms as well. They have tons of selections for snacks, candies, souvenirs, clothing, etc. It's a One-Stop Shop, no wonder everyone loves Buc-ee's! read more
