We bought all the stuff to go with. Dresses, jewelry, props, smoke bombs, etc. Paid a nearly $800 total before the shoot. To have a terrible experience! So terrible, that I was hoping the pictures would come out nice, with the photographers editing skills, to make up for the terrible photoshoot experience itself. From the beginning of bad experiences (but not limited to) : 1) She arrived late. (Should have been there at 5 and didn't arrive until 530, left the house at 540, arrived at location at 6)Side note**We quickly lost daylight during the shoot because of this** 2) She was sent images of the props ahead of time, and did NOT plan accordingly 3) Arrived in a bad mood and that bad vibe permeated the entire photoshoot 4) She took a 2 week last minute vacation and flew back in on THE DAY OF the shoot... 5) She "vented"/complained about her life and problems the entire drive there n back, and also DURING the shoot. Very unprofessional! (I can literally tell you, down to the detail, of why she is on the verge of divorce) 6) She insulted my husband's "Mexican" culture. After pointing it out, she continued about WHY she doesn't like "Mexican Men". Then proceeds to insult my profession. 7) Gave direction ONE time!! The entire rest of the shoot we were looking in opposite directions or had different looks on our faces. She didn't tell us where to look... Smile or be serious. There was NOTHING!! This had us feeling awkward and the photos looking unbalanced. 9) She chose a place that required us to nearly HIKE down a hill with rocks! In heels! 10) She came with just the camera. No other equipment. 11) She helped carry 1 item down the hill. A pumpkin! While we went up and down to get our props, in heels!! 13) We asked for a specific type of editing, dark,gloomy, and witchy. She said she would do "her style" and then some of "ours". Then complained when we asked for 3 specific photos to have edits added. She could have just said that it was outside her capabilities and we would've understood. Instead she guilted us with the amount of photos taken and "excessive time given to take photos due to props" when a) she was made aware of props b) as the photographer she is in charge of managing time not us c) Didnt help with unloading/setting things up. In reality the amount of time we spent was roughly a little over an hour. Brandi apologized for the bad experience on Tues Oct 22 and decided to give a partial refund and let us have the edits that were already done. At 2am the next morning, she sent a text saying she gave the full refund and deleted all of our photos!!! That was so childish and petty! All FACTS!! She will hold your photos hostage! If you don't talk to her when "she wants" she will delete everything!! BE WARNED!!

Little did we know this would be one of the worst decisions we could have ever made. In the contract they were supposed to have given us portraits that we never received. As if that wasn't enough, even after asking countless times for our video they never gave it to us. Despite us asking numerous times it took not only months, but over a year for them to let us know that they lost all of our wedding footage. This was devastating to us as people that were not only in those videos but who also left video messages have since passed away. We have no video of our very special day. I can't quantify the amount of stress and devastation this has caused. If you are searching for a photographer/videographer for you special day, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you want to ensure you will have your memories properly captured and your contract honored to its fullest. I reached out to Richard's Photography via phone and spoke with Patty. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions, so I decided to go ahead ahead and schedule a photo-shoot for the following week. Patty text messaged a reminder two days before the actual photo-shoot, and again two hours prior to the scheduled time. I arrived a little early to their home studio and Richard/Patty greeted me. The photo room is fairly plain and simple, nothing grandeur about the setup. Don't let the straightforward setup fool you though, Richard knows his stuff. Each time he took a photo, he guided me to slightly change my stance and pose. He took about 33 photos and went straight to his computer office to upload them. Each photo came out Perfect. The whole photo-shoot and upload/selection process was about 20 minutes. Richard is able to re-touch a photo if necessary and emails you them right after the photo-shoot. They seem like a genuine, sincere couple and were very hospitable. No issues whatsoever with the experience and Richard's Photography. I would definitely come back if I'm in the San Antonio area again and needed photography services.
