Each time the process is painless and actually pleasant because Eric is such a nice guy!. He is also a wonderful advocate for his patients. My daughter is now living in Denver and she had a problem with one of her teeth. Dr. Grutzner took the time to call and talk with the endodontist in Denver about my daughter's treatment plan. He let us know that the dentist in Denver had a good plan and was knowledgeable about the procedure. It was so comforting to have Eric involved in the process. The dentists do a thorough job and check multiple times before leaving that your teeth are all cleaned and you get your money's worth. Dr. Ji did such a great job, she allowed me to have the procedure done without the "wedge" in between my teeth. They allowed for a break if I needed it. She was simply great. And get this she only took about 45 minutes!!!! From start to finish. I would never wish a root canal on anyone, but if you get one go see Dr Ji and the crew!!! You will be taken care of!!!! So they left me stuck for 7 days over Thanksgiving with a sore mouth and temporary filling. They charge me an extra $86 on top of what was quoted...with no mention of the additional cost AT ALL. Just "hurry up and pay!" While in the chair, I overheard another customer saying he will pay 250 now and 250 in December, and the receptionist had no issue. The man paid and left. I'm set to come back for at least 1 more root canal..perhaps 2. I asked if I can pay half now half on my next visit and the receptionist immediately says "payment is due at service," I bring up the other gentleman and her willingness to work with him. She starts rambling about how "they had someone never pay, and they've been burned before." Ok, so you're insinuating that the other gentleman was trustworthy, but I look as if I won't pay? So you treat some clients graciously and others mean nothing ? MANY dentists in the area have payment plans. We're 30 days away from Christmas; I'm paying almost $2,000 out of pocket to see them; dealing with the pain and inconvenience of coming back for multiple visits while raising 3 kids and not only charge me additional money, but also refuse to give me the same treatment they gave another. In the medical field, these are bad standards of practice. There are SO MANY other dentists who will work with their clients with payment plans and are understanding. Dr.Ji and her assistants are gentle and do a good job, but after that treatment. I won't ever return!
