I've been going to Dr. Petersen since October when I experienced a really bad infection in one of my crowned teeth due to bad previous dental work I had gotten done (at a 'professional dental') that caused my face to swell really bad on one side, I was in a lot of pain, could hardly sleep and experienced fever due to the infection. I was looking intentionally for a holistic dentist and found Dr. Petersen's practice, I have experienced a real decline in my health in the past 2-3 years before I went in to see Dr.petersen he not only repaired my infected tooth and gave me relief from the pain but also went through and thoroughly made sure there were no other issues (which there were). He's kind and actually cares about the health of his patients and without a doubt has helped me get back on track to being healthy again, in which I am very appreciative of! He's done a lot of work on my teeth in such a short period of time fillings, repairing cracked, infected or chipped teeth and has been very understanding, informative and genuine every time I've gone to see him! read more

I wanted to make time to write this review after my latest dental visit. For a while, I have had some challenging neurological symptoms. It made it daunting to get through dental work. I have had a couple of cleanings with this office and now also a couple of procedures - One was taking out a cavity and doing a filling - using a laser alone - no shot or needles were used. I found this so appealing. The latest procedure I had done was having an amalgam filling removed and redone - Again, having any work done has always felt challenging. Even though it was not necessarily super easy for me to schedule and commit to getting this work done (because of my symptoms), I found Dr. Peterson and his assistants and office staff to be - understanding, caring, compassionate, flexible, and patient with me. Dr. Peterson just removed my wisdom teeth the day before writing this. My lowers were fully impacted and the uppers were erupted but twisted at about a 45 degree angle. I took my prescribed painkillers the day of the surgery but didn't need them the next day. There is nothing I would call pain. Also, my lowers were very close to the nerve but there are no problems with the nerve after the surgery. Of course, this is only my individual experience but he did a great job! He and all the staff are very nice and caring and Dr. Peterson gives patients his cell number so you can contact him when needed. Also, in general, I love that he practices holistic/biological and avoid/removes mercury, fluoride and other toxic chemicals. He is my favorite dentist that I've had and really cares about his patients. I have also worked with Katie (his wife), Sierra and Zoe, and they're all great! read more

I have been to this dentist about 3-4 times now getting work done. I love how friendly and accommodating the staff is. Zoe at the front desk is a love. Dr. David Peterson is awesome. He exudes honesty and goes above and beyond to help you meet your goals for your teeth and your purse/pockets. The only hard part is they do not take insurance but that is more of a bummer that the insurance companies do not recognize holistic medicine. Maybe one day. This dentist brutalized my mouth. I've never been in So much pain after a dentist appointment. I have avoided going back to dentist after my experience with him. Stay away. It's been more than a year since I saw this dentist, I'm filling out forms at a new dentist, when they needed the information from my last dentist. Absolutely the best customer service I have had from a dentist. I had an abscess and Dr Peterson worked me in late in the day and stayed until late in the evening. He called me the next morning to see how I was doing. I had a crown that he wasn't happy with (which I received from him a few years back) and he replaced it. The staff is great too.
