The bartender was incredibly welcoming and warm and gave us his full attention even though there were plenty of other people already at the bar. As a first timer, that really made me want to return. The atmosphere was so cozy. The lighting and temperature were warm and the music was at a good level - not too loud, not too quiet. Though they don't have a pool table - which is what we were after - they have plenty of board games. We had a beer each and played several rounds of Shut the Box. Thanks for the great service! That's typical of Foggy Dew. Nick was our bartender, and he was friendly and answered my barrage of questions. Foggy Dew will be a destination bar for me. WOW it's charbroiled on a buttery toasted bread with nice grill marks. The cheeseburger was very simple and tasty with a good grill flavor on fresh bread and a pickle spear on the side. There is a hot pick toilet seat in the ladies room which is a nod to the eclectic vibe. They have some days where they serve hot dogs but mostly there is no food. However there are some really good restaurants within walking distance where you can grab to go and bring it back to the bar. There are tons of regulars that invited us in with open arms. Many corner bars can be so clicky but this one is not. I'll definitely grab a pizza at Papa Luigi's and snag a refreshing drink there with the friendly bartenders.

We were met by a very nice bartender named Cassie. She was attentive and probably knew as an EMPLOYEE not to talk that way. Anytime someone came in she greeted them. The kicker here? The "owner" was sitting on the other side of the bar playing dice and still using that language and of course drinking miller lite. We'll go when she is working and/or their daytime bartender Ray.
