When we walked in, we were not greeted so we grabbed a table. Many minutes later, someone came over and asked if we were there to eat or drink or both. We told her we were mostly there to eat but a few beers would be needed for the over 21's. A couple of people on our party ordered wings and a someone had chicken fingers. Someone ordered a burger and someone else ordered a wrap. I had the French Dip and shared it with my daughter. The food was good; typical bar food. Prices are great. Drinks were cold. We stopped in on a Friday night and were seated right away, which is nice. The sign at the door said to wait (which we did) but as we were there we saw that most people just walked right in and sat anyways. The place has pretty chill dive bar vibes. They have signs on every table saying all the food is made fresh to order and may take a while to come out. I wouldn't say it took any longer than expected, but we were told we came after the bigger dinner rush. As an app we tried the fried pickles that were okay but I wouldn't recommend cause it was a really thin piece of pickle to a good amount of batter. We got burgers that were both great and cooked well. Fresh toppings like LTO with a pickle on the side. The fries were good but some were cold and some were really hot which was a little confusing especially with all the signs saying how fresh everything would be. They have both regular and siracha ketchup which was fun though cause I like some spice. They ended the meal by giving small pieces of candy which was great. Prices were reasonable. I'm constantly looking for new places to visit that have some sort of item that catches my eye. In the case of The Station Pub & Grill, both the Crossing Combo BYO appetizer sampler and the Triple Bypass burger (burger patty, brat patty, and bacon) did just that. I ordered both with homemade chips as the side for the burger. For the appetizer options I picked cheese curds, mozzarella sticks, and waffle chicken bites. If you've ever ordered an appetizer sampler from a restaurant, you've more than likely noticed how you get a few pieces of each item but almost always less than the full amount if you had just ordered one of the items by itself as an appetizer. That's seemingly not the case at The Station. Each one of the items in my appetizer sampler looked like what you would expect a full amount to be. I loved the mozzarella sticks and the waffle chicken bites dipped in the side of syrup they provided were fantastic. I'm not normally a fan of the cornmeal-like breaded cheese curds, but theirs weren't as greasy as ones I've had at other restaurants, which is good. I wish the homemade chips were a little thicker. Their's had some crispiness to them, but I love a super crunchy homemade chip and these fell a little short of that. I enjoyed the burger, but with two meat patties and bacon on it I wish it had two pieces of cheese instead of just one. The one piece got lost in the 3:1 meat to cheese ratio. I had to call back and get the name of the waitress/bartender who tended my table cause I don't recall if she said it. Danielle was particularly welcoming and friendly, which sadly seems to be rare at pub and grill restaurants if you're not a regular that they know. A big thank you to her. She and other menu items that also looked good on the menu will be a big reason I return to The Station for a future meal. read more

It is a bar setting but there are plenty of high top tables and a few standard height table up on a platform. The staff was friendly and the food was served quickly. Food was delicious! I have driven by this place for years and even turned around in the parking lot but I have never stopped by until today. The place is a nice bar with a couple pool tables and hi tables/chairs to eat/drink at with some gaming machines that seemed popular. The menu is typical bar food and I was in for the burger/beer lunch that I like to do. I did the station burger with cheddar and bacon cooked rare, let's see how that goes because it gets screwed up all the time. The burger comes with house made chips and a pickle spear. The burger looked good and I could tell by the smell that it was cooked properly. The burger was rare and juicy with a nice grill flavor and crispy bacon complementing it nicely. Lettuce and tomato was the only toppings that were fresh and the lettuce was the good leaf kind. The bun was a fresh kaiser roll that was nice and soft and not too bready like some places use so you taste the beef and bacon. I'm impressed with the burger because it was pretty good and cooked correctly which totally filled my burger crave. read more

Worst experience ever. You guys stink at hospitality and wait time. You can call for a 'wait' table, we did for 6:30. We arrived at 6:15, hostess said it will be 15-20-minute wait and 45 min - 1 hour wait once you are seated for food to arrive. A bar seat opened up about 30 minutes later, we sat there, very hungry! Waitress came, we said we wanted to order food, she said but what do you want to drink first? 10 minutes later drinks came, she ran away without taking our order. Another 10 minutes, she took our order. It's now 7:30. People next to us got their food. A guy that came in solo after us got his food. Now it's 8:15, we have been there over 2 hours. I finally asked the owners mom, who is also working, did you forget our food? She never came back and told us what was happening. Another couple walked in the door, sat down and got their food in about 15 minutes! Finally, we were disgusted, walked out and ate at another place down the road. read more

We went in a Friday night for the fish fry. My daughter & I got the cod and potato pancake with applesauce and coleslaw. The cod and potato were perfect, crisp but not greasy. The coleslaw was crisp and had a little horseradish to give it a kick. The service from Jackie was excellent as she helped us decide which beer from their extensive menu we wanted to try. Not wanting to leave the comfort of my PJ's, my husband agreed to pick up dinner from the The Station. We both ordered the fried chicken basket and we will order that again. How do they get the skin so crispy that it's still crispy after a ride home in a sealed clamshell takeout container where surely all crispness should have been steamed away? We may never know the answer but this is some really good fried chicken. The accompanying fries were nothing special...just your basic frozen crinkle cuts. We also had an order of breaded mushrooms that didn't do as well sealed in a clamshell container. I've been to this place a couple times for Friday fish. It is excellent. The fried fish is crispy and fresh tasting, but the best stuff is the broiled cod. I'm telling you, this is flakey fresh and done with a distinctive seasoning, unlike anything I have tasted. Also, the wings are crazy good. We asked how they do them, and apparently they marinate them in bloody Mary mix overnight, then bake and grill them. They are absolutely delicious and are a top five wing in the area in my opinion. The only caveat is that on Fridays, service is slow. They do not have enough staff to run everything because there are like 12 tables in the whole place and it gets crowded. We spent over two hours in total there and we were there right at six. This did not bother me though because the drinks were well made, and everybody was busting ass. I can't say enough about this establishment and the people who work here. It's definitely a neighborhood townie bar, and I think that's really what makes it so special. The last two years, my company has had a "game night" here where we play their fun outdoor games and bring our own indoor games.
