TDC not only offers Retro gaming consoles, games, accessories, and the like, they also offer newer consoles, gently used of course, along with a extremely competent repair team to keep those old consoles and games, along with the new ones, working great. I drove 40+ minutes to stop in and visit and was not disappointed. I saw a few reviews on Yelp and was slightly worried but I did some more digging and found them on Facebook and loved how they post recent games that they had traded in. When I stopped in I was just intending to take a look and see what they had but found myself getting a few games here and there and the staff was knowledgeable about all questions that I had. I let them know that I always played PlayStation growing up, but my fiancée gave me a free xbox and I wanted to grab some "retro" early original Xbox games and they helped me out finding some games to try out. I have visited this location a handful of times and must say it is a hidden gem. This store carries everything I'm looking for. All your gaming needs in one spot. They offer great pricing too. I was looking for a psp memory duo which still sell for $20 everywhere I looked, I only paid $5 here! They also offer very great trade in values compared to other game stores around. They also offer disc and console repairs, take care of everything at once. In the end my favorite part of this local game store is the atmosphere. As soon you walk in you see the wall lined with all sorts of retro consoles and the arcade cabinets on the other side. This is a must visit store for any gamer! I have been frequenting this establishment for a decade, and I have never been disappointed. I really appreciate the staff being friendly and personable. Unfortunately in this world, game stores are usually run by people with no ability to make eye contact or small talk. That's not the case at Disc Connection. I've gotten my hands on more than a few hidden gems here, too, and for cheaper than I was looking on Ebay. That never hurts to save money. The store itself is always clean and organized. There is always something cool on the wall. Playing Donkey Kong on an actual arcade cabinet is endlessly fun, too. Overall, this place is just incredible. read more

Awesome game store, far and away the best in the Memphis area. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff with competitive prices, and a bigger selection of harder to find games, peripherals, and consoles than any game stores around, as well as lots of repairs/upgrade services. Unquestionably the best Game Store within a 100 mile radius. When you're looking through the games, there's virtually no filler titles that you have to waste sifting through, only the good stuff that you'd actually want to buy. They also repair virtually any console, which no other game stores in Memphis really do. The prices are also incredibly fair, and often cheaper than buying online. i went there around January 10th and was looking for a 3ds. and i had around 11 great switch games to trade in for it. after a while they finally calculated all the cost's of the games. the 3ds that they had was around $150 and i only got around $103 buck for ALL THOSE GAMES! even gamestop has better prices then that and the 3ds had a ton of scratches on the top of it!
