Good food. Wings made to order extra crispy. French onion soup was good and full of cheese! Service lacked at the beginning. There was no hostess at the front so we waited 5 min to be greeted. We got out own menus and carried them to the table once we were walked to our table. The ambient is casual sports bar type place. Big booths and lots of seating.

These potato skins were tiny only one was normal sized like the photo they provide on the menu. Disappointing.

I think my first mistake was using UberEats as a delivery. However, I expect that if businesses use this type of service to deliver food they need to ensure that while a third party provider the food should still arrive at an appropriate temperature to their customers. The Distillery is literally just over a mile down the road from where I live. My UberEats driver went out of their way to deliver another order on the way to deliver mine and mine arrived barely warm. Trust me, I've learned my lesson. Now for my disappointment in The Distillery...I paid $16.00 for potato skins with extra cheese. I thought that's a bit much BUT I wanted potato skins and they were the closest. There were no napkins or utensils included in my take out. I mean napkins at the bare minimum would have been nice. The sour cream wasn't even in a plastic ramekin it was plopped right next to the potato skins and it was just an unpleasant blob. I had ONE decent sized potato skins and the rest for what I paid were PATHETICALLY small. They have a photo on their site of all decent sized potato skins-that's what I was expecting but not what I got. The cheese was all melted all over the bottom they were quite messy, so napkins would have come in handy. The whole experience was just underwhelming on so many levels. I've learned not to crave potato skins again.

We had a large group midday on a Saturday. Service was pretty good. Most people like most of the food. The chicken nachos were not a winner. The chicken wings and mozzarella sticks were winners. The atmosphere was good, we ordered 6 shots as a goodbye and they took longer than expected.

We decided to use up our gift cards so we came here on lunch. Based on previous experience I really wasn't expecting anything great. I was wrong. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good for my meal, I really liked my chicken spiedie. My spouses hamburger was on the dry side and he said the wings were very salty. Overall not a bad experience.

Good experience overall! We went on a weeknight and it was very busy. We had no trouble being seated. The server was super friendly. Our food came quickly. I had the impossible burger with fries and the buffalo cauliflower. My friend ordered shrimp tacos, which were 50% off that day. My burger was good! Nothing amazing though. My friend loved his tacos. Said the shrimp tasted fresh!

My BF and I ventured out for a nice celebratory St Patrick's Day meal at the Distillery on Winton! We were looking forward to having some 'bar eats' on the patio; but there was no server for the patio section. Bummer. But we were seated in a booth in the back area- which was fine bc it was spacious and there still is COVID. Prices of wings were still high. I got the Spicy Thai Shrimp with a side of loaded fries! (Extra Healthy) haha BF got the street tacos with a side of beans and rice. Food was good- just not the best I've had from Distillery. But with staffing shortages and increased food prices- I'd like to give Distillery another shot and will order the wings - by far my fav!

Visiting Rochester area and needed a 'sports bar' to watch THE GAME. The Distillery was the closest. We'll be back for the great service and the chilli.

After reading highly rated reviews on Yelp, I decided Uncle Joe's would be a great local spot for…read moredinner during our Friday night in Ithaca. Many restaurants in town had long waits, so I was pleasantly surprised when we were able to walk right in... until I realized the place was nearly empty. There were two men playing pool and a couple of people sitting at the bar, and everyone seemed surprised to see us walk through the door. Our server was friendly and told us to sit anywhere. When I asked why it was so quiet, she explained it was the slow season. We looked over the menus and tried ordering chips and guacamole--only to learn they were out of guacamole. Next, we tried mozzarella sticks--also unavailable. As we looked for a third option, my son asked if their chicken wings used a dry rub. The server said she'd check with the cook... and went over to ask one of the guys playing pool. She returned to tell us he was not only the cook but also "a very good pool player." We then noticed no one in the restaurant had food in front of them, the air had a dingy smell, and the whole atmosphere felt off. At that point, we decided not to stay. Back in the car, I checked Yelp again and realized most of the glowing reviews were from five years ago. This might have been a great spot in the past, but based on our experience, it seems it's no longer the vibrant local hangout it once was. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it.

Had every single football game on Sunday. Food was decent, greasy bartenders and service. Go Bills.read more

The service was inattentive and food was mediocre. Everything seemed previously frozen. When the Buffalo Bills came on at 8pm, all the tables tried to get closer to their small outdoor bar with a few extra high tops. All the waitresses left and those of us left outside were asked to go inside to order. The outdoor bartender was also inattentive and planned to leave shortly after the game started. I would suggest not advertising yourself as a sports bar or having Bills events if you're not going to staff your outdoor area on a nice summer night

The ambiance of the restaurant was nice, with some soft music playing, and sports on the TV. Our server was over within minutes to take our drink orders. We ordered the mozzarella half moons and an order of chicken wings as appetizers. The mozzarella half moons were not too great. They did not have much flavor and they tasted kind of old. But, the chicken wings were the star of the show. We got the Cajun gold sauce and wow... it was so good. There wasn't much of a Cajun flavor to it, but it had this tangy sweet flavor to it that made your mouth salivate. And the chicken wings themselves were fried to the perfect crisp. I ordered the turtle plate with cheeseburgers, french fries, and mac salad. The cheeseburgers and French fries were cooked well. The mac salad was lacking flavor and was just kind of watery. The meat hot sauce atop the plate had too much of a cinnamon flavor for me, that kind of ruined the whole plate for me. My dad order their special fried oyster po boy, which he said wasn't too great. He said the fried oyster were kind of cold, and they were put on a plain roll. My mom got a burger, which she said was a fine burger. I definitely will be back in the future at least for those wings, and to probably try some of their other food.
