Since 2016, I have seen seven different physicians at the Ridgetop Doctors Clinic. My experience with each has always been the best. From the front desk, the lab and all of the support staff. In the last year, I have been treated by Dr. Larissa Luu as my PCP. She is kind, patient, and thorough and never seems in a rush to move onto the next patient. Her assistant Kat is amazing. I came here a while ago for a normal visit, and will never come back. The doc noticed my cholesterol wasn't very good, and i was over weight, her response was "stop sitting on the couch and eating potato chips" I was appalled by this response. I do not even eat potato chips, or even a whole lot of junk food and did not always sit around doing anything. There was immediate judgement, assuming how i go about my day.. 3 years later I was diagnosed with PCOS (by a different doc), explaining a WHOLE LOT. I went here for my knees and saw Dr. Kent VanBuecken. From day one, I was never really impressed with this guy. He comes across smug as hell and never really examined my knees thoroughly - just had MRI's done. He has a HORRIBLE bedside manner and seems only interested in one thing. His next patient. I can't even begin to tell you how much I loathed this doctor and experience. I had an MRI done on my right knee which showed a torn meniscus. I had a scope done to repair it and then an MRI done on my left knee. He said there was a small tear in the meniscus but shouldn't be something I needed to have a scope for. I was sent to physical therapy across the hall. I went for 6 weeks and my knees don't feel any better. Today was my follow up and I was told that he "didn't have any fairy dust" to fix my knees and that some people "just have bad knees". Then he discussed seeing a naturopath (which I have already done in the past...) and changing my diet and losing weight. Listen dude, you don't know my medical history well enough to just tell me in so many words that I am fat and that is why my knees are bad. I have spent most of my adult life in and out of doctor's offices for so many issues, one of which is my digestion/weight/metabolism and I already live my life to the best of my ability as far as that is concerned. My knees are WORN OUT - or as you so eloquently put it at one of my appointments "trashed", and maybe if you had, oh, I don't know, EXAMINED them, you might know that. I am seeing another doctor, hopefully in the next few weeks, on a referral from a friend. Let's just hope that appointment is more productive. read more

After seeing several Doctors at Virginia Mason and Overlake (see my other reviews) whom where not able to address my concerns and health conditions professionally I was very fortunate to have been recommended to see Dr. Randall Moeller (urology) here, at the Doctors Clinic. The difference is professionalism in contrast to mediocrity. Yes, it is a drive and yes you pay the toll... IMHO it is totally worth it. Dr Moeller was thorough, friendly and didn't leave questions unanswered. The follow up I received from Mason and Overlake where only for my co-pay... I should have run when they didn't get my medical records from my previous doctor (despite giving them all the paperwork to do so). I should have run when Dr. Truong insisted on doing a pap smear less than a year after my previous one and would not continue with the appointment until I agreed to one. I definitely should have run when Dr. Truong said I needed to see her every 3 months in order to get medication that I've been on for over 10 years for a very easily managed thyroid condition (something that only needs to be checked once a year). Now that she's refusing to refill the anti depressant I've been on happily for over 3 years, I am done with The Doctors' Clinic. Don't even consider going here for Primary Care. RUN. Pros: Wait times weren't too bad. Receptionists were friendly. Cons: Communication awful. Medical assistant (Susan Billings) does not listen or does not relay information to doctor. Takes far too long to get a simple question answered. This practice seems to only care about getting patients in for a visit as often as possible so that they can bill them more $. read more

Had major surgery on both legs and major complications due to the Drs. neglect and refusal to address the surgery complications during healing & had to have the surgery repeated at another clinic by another Dr. to fix. Upon getting home and regaining feeling I realized something was wrong in the way my legs had been put in the recovery casts and called immediately. Was told us there was nothing wrong before I could even open my mouth to explain the issue. The issue persisted, and I called again over the following days, and again was dismissed. Needless to say, my legs were improperly fitted in the casts (as expected) and I experienced massive complications due to their neglect and refusal to admit to error. I had to have the surgery repeated at another clinic with another Dr., and had much success the second time around. I also called for 5 weeks to get the cost of the surgery and the pre-surgery instruction packet. Finally had to call HR to get a response. Instructions arrived in the mail after the surgery took place, and I had to have an extremely painful shot in my stomach going into surgery because I did not take the medication that was listed in the packet surgery that I did not receive. The needle was a half inch from my stomach when the nurse turned and said "You're not allergic to penicillin right?" and I replied, "Yes I am." To which I was greeted with a shocked face, then told: " It will probably be fine." It's an understatement to say this place and the people who work here are criminal, as evidenced by their abundance of similar reviews. read more

I have some frustrations with the office. Billing always seems to be a mess I don't know I have a bill until the collections department is calling threatening to send it to 3rd party. My dr doesn't take very good notes so she doesn't know what we discussed on my previous visit. I'd go to another office but it seems the drs clinic is all there really is out here. read more

I have been a patient for many years. I really enjoy that the staff know me and try their best to meet my physical needs. Twice in this time, I let myself get out of shape. They encouraged me to get back on track and into good health. The appointment desk folks have always treated my as a valued client and have been very kind and personal. About a year ago, I decided to change primary care providers because I found myself putting off seeing the one I had. I thought if I could find a good female provider, I might be more inclined to go in when I had a concern. I called the Doctors Clinic, and the only female doctor taking new patients was Dr. Oanh Truong, so I switched myself and my son over to her. Armed with a short list of a few concerns I've been neglecting to address for years, I made my initial appointment. It was a nightmare. Among my concerns, I was hoping to confirm a previous diagnosis of an ulcer, and my gynecologist had suggested that I follow up with a general practitioner about the possibility of a hernia. Not only did Dr. Truong refuse to address ANY of my concerns, she made ridiculous claims about the limitations of diagnostics in general; and I quote: "We can't diagnose ulcers. It's like fibromyalgia. Sometimes people have pain, and we have no idea where it's coming from. Pain just happens as you get older. We are just doctors - we can't fix that." She also claimed that because I'm relatively young (29 at the time), it was unlikely that I had any major health issues, and insinuated that I was wasting her time. She interrupted me a thousand times to insult my intelligence with tidbits of medical facts that most of us "average folk" would consider to be common knowledge, then cut the appointment short abruptly because she had "other patients to see." Throughout the entire appointment, I barely got a word in edgewise. This is the condensed synopsis of my experience. It was really, really bad. I don't know where this quack got her degree, but Dr. Truong should not be allowed to practice medicine. I would compare the level of care I got to a witch doctor or an untrained mid-wife. I will never go back, and am currently looking for a doctor OUTSIDE of TDC. The only good doctors I've ever had with them are SPECIALISTS at the Salmon clinic. read more

I have been going to the Doctor's Clinic since about 1969,the Ridgetop West location since 1991. I have never had any problems. I never have to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes to be seen and have had no problems getting an appointment. I have also seen doctors in the Salmon Medical building, the Cavalon building, and in Poulsbo. No problems. read more

I'm not sure why they call this Urgent Care because they have no sense of urgency. I went in with broken ribs and had to wait for 90 minutes while they saw people who were not really ill. What a joke this place is and the worst part is that they really don't care. My wife went up a few times and asked when I would be seen and she was told I was next but they kept seeing people who came in long after I did. I will also mention that I arrived within minutes of them opening. read more

Went to TDC for blood tests to satisfy health insurance requirements. Saw Dr. Tiffin Clegg. Blood drawn on Monday, follow up appointment on Thursday. Dr. Clegg "reviewed" the results with me, said everything was good, and I was done. I requested a copy of the results on my way out the door. When I got home, I noticed that there was no Cholesterol data (the one item my health insurance requires for reduced cost). Dr. Clegg's office reports that "yes that test was ordered, but it was not performed. We can reorder that test (requires a 12 hour fast)." Mistakes happen, I get that. The problem is that Dr. Clegg sat at his laptop and "reviewed" my health data points and somehow did not notice that one of the primary indicators of health status was missing. I would not trust anyone at The Doctors Clinic to provide any sort of reliable care. Any treatment that requires educated, thorough analysis should be taken elsewhere. read more

I will aviod this place at all costs. I just had to double pay for a service because they are incompetent thieves. I received my first bill, it had one Item on it for $25 I called and paid $25. Then the next month I received a bill for that same $25 service plus another $16 for a separate service. Two service's two $ amounts. I paid the $25 so I call to pay the $16 and see why they are trying to charge me again for the $25 I already paid. They told me that they applied the $25 I paid to the $16 of the other service. If that were the case I should have been in the postive going into the next service. She applied the $25 where it was originally supposed to go and tells me that I still owe $41. I HAD ALL 3 STATEMENTS IN FRONT OF ME. Two service's that totaled $41, I paid $25 but I still owe $41?!? After arguing and getting nowhere I told her to take my money AGAIN so I could just be done with them. I only went there for after care after a devastating emergency surgery and now they are taking advantage of me and stealing money from my family. Don't go to these unethical people! read more

Had a Urolift procedure done on my prostate by Dr. Marc Mitchell in March. Waited to write review until now to ensure the results I felt early were sustained. Started with an I-PSS test score of 24 which was considered severe. Had the Urolife procedure and felt better immediately. After at least two months I am sure this was the right procedure for me. My I-PSS test score dropped to 4. I'm sleeping better, I don't have to wake up as many times to pee in the night, I rarely feel the need to pee RIGHT NOW! My pee stream is not fantastic but is much better than it was before the procedure and I empty my bladder every time I pee. Overall, this procedure was excellent and I am happy with the job Dr. Mitchell did performing the surgery. I recommend Dr. Mitchell and the Urolift procedure completely. read more

The Dr's Clinic is the absolute worse. If you fall even 30 days behind on a copay payment they will terminate you and refuse to see you ever again. This goes to prove how NOT dedicate they are to patients health but rather the corporate dollar. You can also expect not to get any quick diagnoses or resolutions to your medical needs, but rather repeated unnecessary visits and test to milk you for every last co-pay dollar they can get from you. They have not only done this to myself from some bill almost 10years ago which I might add was resolved years ago, but I have a family member that works with elderly that they have also do this to very many of her clients. Dr's Clinic is the worse, I have to say that any of the insurances they accept are also accepted by many other area providers. Even Harrison Health Partners is better!!! read more

Although the front desk was friendly and upfront about the wait (approximately 1 hour), the medical assistant and doctor exhibited a very "cold" demeanor. After jokingly acquiring about the wait time with the medical assistant, she proceeded to explain the wait time was because the clinic employed only one doctor each day. I believe this may be why the back room staff exhibited such a demeanor. I would suggest clinics such as this provide the necessary staff to adequately and timely perform their job function during peak cold/flu seasons. As there is only one or two other urgent care options in the area (which after inquiring about their wait times being just as long) it seems people in the community have no other option but to wait too long for what appears to be disgruntled and overworked doctors. read more

I don't understand all the bad reviews on here (although most of them are very old). I have been going to the doctors clinic for several years. I have been very pleased with my primary care doctor and have seen multiple Specialists within the doctors clinic. I have been very happy with the majority of the doctors and services I have received there. I had one surgeon who was very arrogant, condescending and had a horrible office and bedside manner but he performed my rotator cuff surgery and did it very well. The doctors clinic urgent care saved my life. I had been to a non-Doctors Clinic Urgent Care and the emergency room several times without anyone realizing the seriousness of the fluid building up around my heart. The Urgent Care Clinic in Silverdale diagnosed my problem correctly, sent me in an ambulance to the emergency room to be admitted and I finally got the care that I needed. While in the pre-op at the hospital, my heart rate dropped dramatically and I probably would have died if I had not gone to the Doctors Clinic Urgent Care in Silverdale on that day. 20 minute wait time on phones just to get to a person, very nonpersonal experience with the drs, nurses are nice. Billing office is fairly incompetent and Noone returns phone calls. After having an amazing dr in a different state and coming here I am unimpressed. Also asked for a meet the physician visit for my daughter when we were on apple health for a month and was refused however once we were set up with our union insurance it was no problem. Have also been turned away from the urgent clinic and have sat in the walk I clinic for hours with sick kids. Don't recommend. read more

If you want to pay to be treated horribly, rushed through like a cattle farm, and experience doctors that have lost all meaning of why they became a doctor in the first place go here. Good bedside manner, you will not find it here! Everything from arguing medical assistance, doctors who feel like you owe them something to be seen by them, over scheduling, and complete scheduling issues all together. You are never seen on time and have to wait most times an hour after your appointment time just to be seen and then treated disrespectfully by someone you are paying to help you. These doctors really need to take a step back remember why they became a doctor in the first place and realize that their patients are why they are there and how their bills get paid. So they might want to start treating their patients with a little more respect and a little kinder. I am not talking about 1 doctor in particular I am referring to several doctor and staff from orthopedics, imaging department, surgical center, L&I department, physical therapy, and primary care. read more

Where else can I give them a poor review? We were lied to, TDC did not secure the pre-authorization we specifically requested prior to treatment. Thus, we were billed for the full amount for treatment. Their billing department was absolutely horrid. Not helpful and condescending when I called to make arrangements. They'll get their precious $189 dollars. They sill not get any more of our business and I will shout from the rooftops how poorly we were handled by their office. read more

I also saw dr olch, I was referred to him from my doctor in seattle. I wasted 10 mo with dr olch. he misdiagnosed me twice, then dropped me like a ton of bricks. I often waited over 1 hr in the exam room, and his upfront staff were rude to me everytime I stepped in the door. read more
