Glad this wasn't a single person just working out of a garage. Seems Kara also does boarding, so she's in the more professional category. I'd give a 5 star rating except for the fact she doesn't take specific hourly appointments...show up at 8AM with everyone else and first come first serve. My dog is a shelter dog, and gets really scared waiting in a cage. On the plus side, the waiting cages were of good size and seemed very clean. I reached out to Linda, and, even though I was asking for services that were outside her normal business hours she worked with me to provide a safe place for my baby. My dog is rarely left in a kennel and I was a bit nervous leaving her behind but when I came to get her, she seemed confident following Linda out of the area where she was kept while I was gone. That made me feel like she must have had a good experience with Linda and put me at ease. The only thing that was a "negative" and not even worth taking away a star is that Linda only takes cash or checks and I am strictly a credit card girl (gimmee ALL the points), but the value of the service is wonderful and she even gave us a little gift bag and a report card when we left. It had some nice pens, good treats and a little plushie that Riley has taken an instant liking to - she was even using it as a pillow this morning, back at home, when I left for work. The quality has been on a decline for a couple years at this point. They allegedly only have one groomer who works one day a week, which truly sucks. My dog became cage aggressive as a result of the very first groomer we encountered here to start (can't remember her name) which was never an issue any other time she had been groomed elsewhere. Most recently, I had called to set an appointment for her yearly vaccines in anticipation of getting her groomed. When I requested the grooming appointment, I was told that because HE (they consistently say he when my dog is female) is cage aggressive she needs to be with an experienced groomer. This experienced groomer is also the only one available, who only works Wednesdays. This call was made at the beginning of June, and the appointment wouldn't be until June 25th. Fine, I'm okay with waiting. The 23rd rolls around and I still have yet to receive the email reminder, so I decide to call and see what was going on. The girl who picked up the phone checks the schedule and sees no appointment for my dog, and offers to reschedule for the experienced groomer on July 9th. I had already waited so long for the original appointment that I'm starting to get annoyed. I accept the appointment for July 9th. My husband then texts me that the appointment was canceled, due to the groomer being sick. GREAT. When can she get groomed? They're not sure, needed to see if they could squeeze HIM (again my dog is female, she's been groomed here for years, and they can literally see it says female on her profile) in with the manager. I'm already annoyed as it is so I ask what the solution here is, how soon I'd have to call back. I'm told they'll call me when they have a solution. Well I figured out MY solution. I went to a different groomer.

I am the one who cared for our pets, took them for walks, fed them, gave them water, cleaned up after them, bathed them, and groomed them. You are apparently not only rude but a manipulator and liar as well.
