The Dog Stop. Home away from home? At least, that's what my Siberian Husky must think, after another day of romping, playing, and snuggling with her best friend, an adorable little black Lab mix. The two are inseparable. This is one of the reasons that I drive an extra 45 minutes each day to bring my dog to the Dog Stop in Rowley, while I'm at work. Other reasons include a totally cage-less, crate-less, environment where dogs can be dogs all day long. Amy- the owner, and manager extraordinaire- gives the dogs the freedom to play/socialize with each other in the sand-filled yard (easy on their joints), or hang out and sleep in the spacious inside area, .Amy, who can be seen tossing balls to the dogs at all hours, cares alot about each dog's unique needs, is tough enough to calm spirited groups of pups, and is clearly committed to providing the best care possible to the dogs. I have trusted her with my pup for over a year, and have never been disappointed. The Dog Stop offers dog care 7 days a week (yes, including weekends/overnights!) at incredibly reasonable rates; and is located right on Rt. 1 A, a mile from Rt. 95.
