In the rare occasion of a delay or cancellation (for me, only once or twice over the last 4 years?), it seems to be because the business cares about the well-being of their employees as much they do our pets. I've also done in-home and external boarding - it's like a mini summer camp for E, photos and updates come regularly, and he's always a little sad to come home. The training we do with him is really reinforced by Jordan, Kerry and Melissa and their walks with him and his playgroup. Jack Russells are notorious little crazed beasts, with an intense amount of energy. Having PITV as our walker has done wonders for Max. Elizabeth is his walker and is absolutely beyond phenomenal. He's weird around other dogs, but she has worked closely with him and created an environment when he walks with ELEVEN other dogs in his group, without a hitch. Elizabeth sends us amazing pictures of Max every single time she walks him, and is excellent at communicating with us regarding his behavior (good and bad!). Paws in the 'Ville provides an absolute reliable, friendly service. We were brand-new dog owners when we started with them and Seana did everything we needed to assist us and created a huge level of trust. When we needed to switch walkers after one left PITV, Max had some issues transitioning - barking like crazy when a different walker came to get him and refusing to go with them. Seana worked closely with us until she found Elizabeth to work with Max. We felt completely supported throughout. I can honestly say that PITV is absolutely the best bang for the buck. They have been reliable without fail (unlike my experience from the dog walking apps), text me an update of what my dog did that day after every walk, and what other animals from my apartment building he played with! Our cat loves her - Adriane comes by the apartment once a day to feed him, clean his litter and play with him, and always sends us pictures and emails to let us know he's doing okay while we're gone. Adriane's very knowledgeable about animals and has had great recommendations for any pet issues we've experienced (hair balls, wolfing down food, etc) and it's clear that she loves animals very much. Working with Adriane has been very easy - we communicate over email, she's happy to come by the apartment to pick up/drop off our keys before/after our trips, and has been available every time we've needed a cat sitter. Her daily rate is very reasonable as well! We're moving out of Cambridge in a few weeks and one of the things we'll miss the most is having Adriane to take care of our cat.
