Called on a Saturday afternoon and I was able to get a same day appointment for my two pitbulls…read more The owner (I didn't get her name) was super nice on the phone and when I got there she was so nice and welcoming to my dogs and tried her best to make them feel comfortable. When I picked them up they seemed very happy and not terrified from being at the groomers, they did look and smell great. I really like that she told me exactly how it went- what they liked and what they were more wary of while getting groomed not the generic 'they did great' answer. They even put cute bandanas on them!! Other groomers would only do that to them when they were puppies- they don't care to do so once a dog is so big. Also, they don't automatically muzzle pitbulls just because they're pitbulls- unless a dog was being aggressive then I'm sure they would to protect themselves. Overall great experience & I will definitely be back!

Luan showed up on time but texted me shortly after from outside saying there had been an accident. He said he accidentally cut my dogs upper leg near his groin and we came outside to see a LARGE deep open WOUND. It had been over an hour at this point and no hair cut had been completed, not sure if they wash or cut first. Although he was apologetic he did not reach out after even though he said he d escalate this to his supervisor. We never heard anything back after that. We had to spend the afternoon at the vet and my dog is still healing from the cut. Would not recommend this groomer.

Luan was wonderful: he has, as my mom said, a calming Dog Whisperer vibe (that's a quote), and he sent me photos of my dog while she was being washed and brushed. I could tell how much he likes his job and the animals he works with, but even more, my dog got a top-tier grooming. As my parents said, she smelled good and Luan did a great job. Since I don't live in the area, I forwarded his information to a friend who lives close by so that she can get her dog in with him too.

We reached out to Sean anyway and even though he normally does off-leash hikes, he was willing to work with us to accommodate our needs and offered a trial hike with our dog on-leash. He did an initial meet-up with us in our home and assessed which group our dog would be the best fit in. During the hike Sean sent picture updates and was very reassuring that my dog was doing well and getting along with the other dogs in the group. Thanks Sean!

I interviewed Aaron 2 years for some dog walks while I'm at work and was very please with how he interacted with my babies. He's been amazing and I can tell he really cares about my dogs and their well-being. He is attentive and reports any changes in behavior so I can be on top of any changes in their health. Aaron always takes his time with my senior citizen and he will even carry my doxie if he's not doing too well. I've also boarded my dogs with Aaron when I travel and I know they are very well cared for. I get regular updates and pictures about how the boys are doing. Aaron has also helped me with water plants and bringing in packages when I've been on long trips. From time to time, I need to stay in the office late and he's always flexible to help me with extra walks with short notice when needed. I can't say enough great things about Aaron and I'm SO grateful to have his help caring for my babies.

What distinguishes Aaron from some other pet care providers is his flexibility and willingness to help resolve unusual situations. For example, he made a very short-notice additional visit (within 30 min of contacting him) when the cats turned on the gas fireplace and I wasn't available to respond. And when he encountered an unexpected water puddle during a routine care visit, he traced the source to a plumbing leak, communicated the situation (with pictures), put a temporary fix in place, and monitored it so that it didn't interfere with my travel. Aaron is professional and trustworthy, and I appreciate his care for my cats and home. I highly recommend Chamberlain Pet and Home Services.
