Before becoming clients of House Calls, I had met with a half dozen dog nannies through a dog-sitting application, but I didn't feel comfortable with any of the potential sitters. Our dog, Gretchen, is an escape-prone, strong, hearing-impaired miniature pinscher, so she needs extra attention and security precautions. I was comfortable with Suzanne and Lu instantly. One year later, I am thrilled that I made that initial call and wish I would've done it years ago. Suzanne and Lu are so attentive and loving with our dog. They both send me text updates every appointment. When Suzanne takes a day off or a vacation, we have coverage with Lu. Both ladies follow our instructions to ensure that Gretchen is safe. Five stars for Jennifer! We found Jennifer after we had recently moved to Livermore, and needed a…read morepet sitter to care for our tribe of 4 cats and 2 dogs while we went on our honeymoon. Jennifer did an "introduction," meeting in which she came over and hung out so we could talk her, and she could meet the babies. She is truly experienced with "meeting" cats and dogs and allowed them to come to her, which made everyone comfortable. After meeting Jennifer, we felt our babies were in good hands. Jennifer is trustworthy, on time, cleans up after the pets, gives them lots of love and is respectful of our home preferences (not wearing shoes in the house.) She frequently communicated by sending pixs of the babies, easing our anxiety of leaving our babies with a new pet sitter. She was super accommodating to one of our kitties who hid under the bed, and served her meals there. She is especially fantastic with our dogs. She reinforces walking "manners," and rewards them with frequent treats for good behavior. We use her weekly now for dog walks. Our pets are like our "kids," to be able to have Jennifer in our lives to help us care for them when we go away or just to walk them while we are at work is truly a blessing! We love her and highly recommend her, as she will care for your pets as they were her own!
