I understand that opening a new business is costly, but I'm sure there are a number of talented local artists that would have loved to work with the owners to design a much better logo and branding at a reasonable price. (Or, personally, I much prefer a plain typed-up sign or amateur art to AI slop.) Even the poster of Blodgett Canyon was AI-generated, when there are dozens, if not hundreds, of human-created depictions of Blodgett that they could have purchased and printed at a similar price point. I hope that, as the business grows, the owners will consider investing in the local art community instead of using the AI garbage art that seems to be around every turn these days.
