I purchased several very expensive items and the sales process was great -- she was responsive and eager to please. The items were delivered without a hitch, but there have been some big disappointments with this purchase. After less than 2 months use, the nightstand on my side is already pretty beat. There is no protective coating over what seems to be VERY delicate paint. The paint job is not holding up well to light use. Example: spilled a few drops of water on the surface of the nightstand in the middle of the night, and cleaned it up. I missed a spot which soaked through and made the paint bubble and peel. Everything gets scratched up really easily, and I was not given touch up paint for the bedroom items (I was for the white desk, more on that later). If I'd have known how delicate this paint job was, I would have had at least had glass cut to place on all the surfaces. Also, early in our conversation, I asked if the drawers were on rails and pulled smoothly. The woman said yes, very smooth. But most of the doors and drawers don't open and close smoothly, particularly the nightstands which are a real pain to open and get properly closed, and also the door on the large wardrobe, which is very "sticky" and takes a lot of effort to open and close properly. While the set turned out absolutely gorgeous to look at, functionality-wise, they're not easy to use and maintain. I shared this with the woman with whom I communicated on Etsy and she never responded. Sadly I made the mistake of paying her direct instead or through Etsy, since it was a custom order, so I can't leave a proper review there and could only leave one here, even though she doesn't have a proper listing here. read more

Update: when asked about her prep process she was very rude, told me to not assume anything, I was the first to EVER complain, told me to have a blessed day and followed with a winky face (wow). Then she blocked me. Haha. Pro right there. Be warned. Bought two dressers. One customized with a paint "splatter" technique. Upon delivery, every drawer top/bottom as well as the top and bottom of each middle piece was peeling. Like it was painted with drawers closed then as each drawer was opened, it peeled badly. I mean BAD. I took over 20 pictures of different problems. Dresser also appeared to not be properly prepped. Definitely not sanded or primed. I know some of these newer paints say you don't have to sand but if you want to do professional work, we all know you should. After not agreeing to being sent a paintbrush and paint (!) to touch it up myself (impossible) and after much back and forth they gave me a full refund MINUS delivery. A true professional would have eaten that cost considering it should have never been delivered in that condition. It was not MY fault the piece wasn't expected properly before being delivered. So, I THOUGHT the other dresser was ok. Many dime sized dings in the dresser so you can tell there was no wood filler/sanding going on before the paint job. Also, a large cup ring very noticeable right in the middle Of the top (impossible to repair now) I've spent a couple of hours of my own time to properly repair some of these things. And now the paint is peeling in multiple places and once again you can tell it wasn't sanded and primed. And this is why I'll do it myself next time. Out a lot of money and frustration AND I still have to spend my time on it. Don't expect true professional work here. It's superficial beau ty and you'll end up with a product that's not going to last. read more
