We ended up having to literally last minute call our guy that did our rentals to rent speakers, microphones ect. Jordan then took about 3ish weeks to give me a refund for the services that weren't provided. At first it took him days to even get back to me when I requested a refund. I opened a dispute with PayPal because that's how I paid all my vendors, he was very slow to refund me and when I accidentally forgot to cancel the dispute he confronted me honestly very rudely. I fixed the issue immediately, I've debated for almost a year to write this review. I absolutely would not recommend Jordan for anyones dj needs. I'm the end he was downright unprofessional, rude and uncaring.

We met beforhand to talk about generalities, he drove up to San Clemente the night of the rehearsal to check out the site and test sound, then was on hand all day of the wedding for last-minute changes or requests. It was so great to have all of the music, equipment and lighting come from the same trusted vendor. He found a super obscure instrumental song for us, and played everything we wanted! He created a custom playlist for us, and didn't play anything "cheesy" or cliche (very important to me). He also knew exactly what to do to get everyone on the dance floor! I went with a few friends, anticipating great Peruvian Ceviche! It was a small gathering, casual setting in an off-the beaten-path location. The ceviche was perfectly presented, and came out to our table just shortly after we arrived. I couldn't wait to dig in! The fish was super fresh and thinly sliced, sitting in a lovely creamy leche de tigre. There was a beautiful paper thin red onion delicately placed atop the stack of fish. The dish was accompanied by a good sized portion of corn on the cob and a octagon of sweet potato in true Peruvian fashion. There was just enough spice from the bits of aji limo that was speckled throughout the dish. The bright green cilantro bits gave both color and flavor. It was all served fresh and cold which was a nice contrast to the hot summer day. You bet I drank the tigers milk at the end!! He was phenomenal!…read more My husband (at the time fiance) and I were biking along San Diego Harbor one Sunday, and came across an outside cafe with some amazing music being played. What made it so great was the DJ was spinning tunes accompanied by a live saxophone player. The sound was really fantastic, and the vibe created by the live art happening in front of us was really inspiring. We stayed at the cafe, and listened, then danced, and finally approached him about playing our wedding. On our wedding day, Brandon was really on top of things, and had staff there to assist him. We ordered a small stage for him and his equipment. It was like a club atmosphere, and together with sax player they got our crowd really going! People were coming up to us at our wedding asking where we had found such a great DJ, and they absolutely loved the live sax player because it was something different. Our crowd was a little older, but we can honestly say he got everyone on the dance floor, and it was bumpin'! We were a little worried that if we played slow songs it would sound very "kenny g" but it didn't ever -- it was like having a live band, the sound was that good! The sax player came down and played among the crowd of dancers, and our guests loved it! If you want something a little different, I can highly recommend DJ Brandon Noel. He is very professional, and on top of his game. The only little mishap we had was one of his speakers wasn't working for the ceremony, but he handled it really professionally, and everything worked amazingly. As we got closer to our wedding Brandon hooked us up with some club passes for our bachelor/bachelorette party because he knows everyone in San Diego. He definitely goes above and beyond for his clients. We would highly recommend DJ Brandon Noel and his sax player, especially if you are looking for the benefits of big band sound, or something a little different! TWO MASSIVE THUMBS UP! Over the more than 9 years that we've worked together, I have worked for companies large and small. When I need to do any type of photoshoot that involves location/talent scouting and production services, I go to Rick's San Diego Productions. Look at it this way--you and/or your team could try to do what Rick's team does on your own. That would involve finding a location, knowing all of the laws, permits required, advantages, and disadvantages of each location. Then, you would need to do the work of vetting photographers and videographers. Put out a call for them. review portfolios, and then interview each one. Need talented actors and models? That's another vetting process that takes tons of time. What about wardrobe, set design, hair, and make-up? San Diego Productions can do all of these things, which frees us up to do what we do best--focus on the creative. His decades of experience and multiple connections allow him to assess your needs and match you up with the best solutions for your given project.
