It's an island that sits off of a lake and it is huge. It looked as though the owners spend decades making this place to be a destination for wedding perfection. The event tent is massive and the gazebos are magical. The landscaping is practically like they took a page of a princess fairytale storybook! One of the guest fishes on the lake, serval others enjoyed the boat ride, and many took advantage of walking on the trails and strolling around the venue. I have never seen out houses that looked like real in home bathrooms before. This made the usual dread of going to the restroom at an out door event so much more pleasant. Like I said every detail is covered! The only two things I noticed to be a slight problem was the parking, and needing another outhouse. Both of these things created back ups to the flow of the event. But all in all the place is MAGNIFICENT!!!

We have invested over $4,000 in dinner tickets, along with a $600 membership, based on the clear expectation that these events would be honored. We are now being told refunds will only begin after the property is sold, with no defined timeline. That is not a reasonable or acceptable plan given the amount of money customers have already paid. (100 memberships were offered @$600 a piece) What is even more troubling is that Farrand Hall continues to actively promote and accept payment for upcoming community dinners, while simultaneously stating they do not have the capital to fulfill existing obligations or issue refunds. It is very difficult to understand how new payments are being accepted when prior commitments cannot be honored. At this point, customers deserve: * A clear and specific refund timeline * Immediate communication on how and when funds will be returned * Transparency around how current and future payments are being handled Farrand Hall has built something special over the years, which makes this situation even more disappointing. But transparency, accountability, and doing right by customers should be the priority right now. I hope we see more responsible communication and action very soon.

She arrived at the proper time and was professionally dressed and very well organized. She did a wonderful job and performed the service exactly as we had planned. We were so pleased with her service, by the time she was done, we had considered her a friend. 7/24/19-after a going through a rough patch, we utilized Rev. Victoria's services again. She arrived promptly, re did our vows with us quickly and everything went perfectly. If you are in the area and looking for an officiant, don't hesitate and book an appointment with her. She actually takes the time to listen and will do her best to accommodate with your schedule. We were able to call her on Monday and had her out Wednesday for the new service. She is so kind and definitely goes above and beyond to make sure her clients are satisfied. We have 2 commander 200's and a few minutes after we started on the trails, our atv's could NOT handle these trails. These are NOT beginner trails, not even intermediate. I broke a few parts off my bike, and my mother tipped her bike over twice. The only place we had fun at was the playground in the back which is a big sand/gravel pit but it was more of a mud pit since it rained the day before and we did enjoy getting completely filthy. unfortunately, we won't be returning any time within the next few years.

So please do not take previous reviews to heart. THEY are new owners trying to fix thing on the fly. They resanded the beach while we were there, and that is a start. I enjoy staying and relaxing and being out on the water. Marble lake is a lake that's part of a series of channels and lakes and that's one of my favorite things about this particular area. As mentioned above there's a pretty nice price tag on what we pay and because of that it would be nice to see the money that so many are paying for go towards upgrades in the resort. Better restrooms and showers... more full hook ups in the camper area... heck even new playground equipment... throw us a bone!! For as much as lot rent is as well as paying for our own electric on top of that this resort has to be pocketing a lot of money and I would be thoroughly impressed if we start to saw some, *any* kind of upgrade in the resort. Anyways the resort is usable and not by any means in bad shape. I enjoy spending my weekends here and don't have many complaints. Side note the corner store on the water has amazing hand dipped ice-cream that can't be beat. If you're here, don't miss it.

Donuts are always fresh and the ice cream is incredible. My brother and I drove 40 min just for the ice cream it is that good. My favorite flavors are birthday cake and buckeye.
