Referred to this barber in Cooper City by a friend who has been using Jamie the barber for years and tried him out today. Loved the modern texting notification system for confirmation of my appointment. A legit barber shop with about ten chairs and a classic blue and red striped barber pole at the front checkout counter that legitimizes the business - lol. Barbers chilling in the waiting area seats waiting for their clients to arrive. A classic barber shop with shots of Cuban coffee offered upon entry with the sounds of top 40 music echoing throughout made a warm welcoming. Definitely not a gangster hip hop style barber spot with F-Bombs dropping hard in every conversation. Photos of customer hair cuts on one wall and fishing photos on the other. Jaime was soft spoken but professional and meticulous. My barber chair was ready to go right at my scheduled time. After about thirty minutes, my head and beard were trimmed up nicely and finished me off with a warm eucalyptus scented towel which was a nice touch. The pricing here is under $50.00 for head and beard which is 25% less than most other barber shops. Don't need a fancy room, just quality service with a smile. read more

Hands down an amazing Barber that I've been going to for years and will never stop going through. I recently went because I needed a haircut after the whole quarantine. They were finally back open. They really do as much as possible to keep you safe while I'm there. They will make you wait outside if you are too early for your appointment, by the way this place is appointment only to limit the amount of people. They have a plexiglass blocking the register and you are required to wear your mask at all times, even when you are getting your haircut. That is definitely keeping it safe in my opinion. One of The Barbers sneezed while they were cutting hair and he immediately went to the back wash their hands and replace their face mask. Prices are reasonable at $20 for a haircut and $5 extra for Beard shaving and trimming. Hector is the best one and he is my go to, he is always booked so get him if you can! read more

Grew hair out for almost a year and went in to have it cleaned up. Confirmed THREE times with barber what I wanted done. Proceeds to then chop off half my hair. Great cuts. I've read a few reviews and some seem to be disappointed in waits. Pick the phone up and call ahead to prevent long waits. The shop is clean there always friendly. Offer you espresso shots later in the day when they make. I've learned over the years to have a picture of the cut you want, add it to your favorites, show them and presto! You got it. I was not able to rate the barber's because I couldn't get a chair. Granted, I went on a Friday afternoon, but there appeared to be no organization. Nobody could tell who was a walk-in and who was an appointment. After waiting 30 minutes and seeing person after person. Go ahead of me, I left. I would never go back. After waiting in the chair for 20 minutes, someone finally mentions that there are 3 appointments ahead of me. I waited another 40 minutes to finally get a cut and am extremely disappointed by it. I never review barbershops but thought I should review this one. My hair on top WAS 3 inches now it's 1 inch! I asked for a light scissor cut on the top and was left with basically a buzz cut not the comb over I had walking in. Maybe it's the lack of Spanish I speak or the lack of English the barbers speak.... I would never step back into this barbershop, so much for trying new things. read more

When I arrived, I asked the person at the reception desk if they had anyone that could cut an old fashioned style man's haircut. He said they did and sent me to a very very young barber named Jaime. I explained to him that I did NOT want "high and tight" on the sides, but rather to use a blade #2 or #3 at the base and taper it as he went up. Everything went fine for about 2 minutes and then, buzz cut right to the top. Now, it is too late to fix it, so I had to endure the old "high and tight" thing once again. There were two older barbers sitting around that just might know what I was looking for, but nooo they had to send me to the youngest barber in the whole shop! He seems to know only one style; high and tight!!! What a HUGE disappointment!!! If you are looking for a gentleman's cut this is definitely NOT the place to go! And the receptionist is totally clueless when it comes to customer SERVICE!!! read more

Not 'just a barbershop'...this place is clean, friendly, and filled with professionals. You can tell that these guys take their craft seriously and want to do a nice job. They won me over after giving my 1 year old son a haircut, which took 3 people and was not an easy task. A good place, with hot towel, and sometimes Cuban coffee. I am 70 years old and it shows. So I ask myself if there is a seniors $16 sign posted ,why always ask for $18? Playing dumb I guess. My preferred choice is my Davie barber $10 No ifs and or buts. And he is just as good, but a bit 2 far. Good by edge, no towel and no Cuban coffee is worth the $8 savings. read more
