Emma cut my hair. I asked for 2 things specifically in my hair cut and got neither. I didn't realize this before I left the salon because my hair was so heavily styled. I realized the next day after I washed my hair and messaged her for a correction. She told me via text that she did what I asked, and "you just aren't happy with anything." I sent her a picture of my bangs clearly hanging below my eyebrows when I asked for them to be cut above my eyebrows. She said, "I do not have time to argue with somebody who is not listening." I tried to call the salon several times, but nobody is picking up the phone. I have been with other stylists at The Edge for the past 4 years with very positive experience, but this really shocked me. I am going to have to pay another salon to cut my hair just days after paying for this hair cut. read more

Zack is a fully certified master barber with years of service. This is a family salon that has services for everyone. They can take care of mom, dad, and the kids. All of their products are natural plant based. Nothing harsh and no corners are cut here. It is important to know what chemicals they are using on you. The owner also can do a wonderful treatment for those who have had chemotherapy or take a lot of medications that remove the toxins from the hair. Quality matters. I have been a client for over a year with Dee. After 20+ years of being a grown up, I have found someone I feel comfortable with. She does an outstanding job with my hair! I have hair that a lot of stylists like to coat in product and it drives me insaneZ She listens to what I want and figured out the best way to make it happen, and uses minimal product. I have used the services of the Edge Salon for nearly twenty years now and I can not stress how clean, professional and upbeat the place is. The owner has spend half a lifetime creating a place that is backed up by the knowledge and experience of a master beautician and the soul of an artist. This place is not just a place for the ladies as you will find two master barbers on the other side for the men. If Tanning is your thing you will find well maintained tanning beds and stand up sun domes that are always clean and ready for use. I know many ladies who travel quite a ways for Yvette to do their nails. The main reason why I choose the Edge as I have many chemical sensitivities and health problems. The owner, Jennifer, has personally taken the time to research the long list of ingredients that my allergist has determined that I am highly allergic to and she has found shampoo and styling products that I can use that do not inflame my allergies. When my scalp is inflamed she is one of the few people I can trust that can give me a scalp treatment that calls things down. I have never encountered any other person in the hair care industry that was dedicated enough to do research to this extent for one client. She also understands those who have been through Chemo treatments, or take medicines that effect the texture and can help detoxify someone's hair. While I am there I also observe the interaction that she has with her staff, it is a family there. This is a nice place to get a haircut. The stylist was attentive and gave a nice haircut. There was separate staff to check you in. One of my biggest complaints is salons that require a stylist to stop and check in customers. This place is neat and clean. I would recommend to anyone. read more

This is my second time visiting this place. The girl that I see if the fiancé of an old friend of mine, which Is why I decided to give this place a shot. My first time going was when I went to a prom. She did my hair and makeup, and it looked amazing. Today all I needed was a cut and for her to redo my bangs. She cut my hair dry because it had recently been washed, and since I have having a heat stroke, she said she didn't want to put me through the whole blow drying process,lol. My hair is and feels so much more healthier and looks better. I recommend going to this place because they do an amazing job. Cut, style, or makeup. read more

Been coming here for 5 years and decided to change my hair color. I wanted the ashy blonde hair and had several sessions (4 total) trying to accomplish this look. Visit after vist I was told it was a process and I was fine with that. However each visit got worse, my last visit I left with no difference in color. I took before and after pictures and you can't tell my hair was even touched that day. I was left with horrible hair that's brassy and not blended well at all. I'm no a pro but I can even tell it's awful looking. I trusted Lauren as she does this as her profession but with no results close to what I was asking for, I stopped coming here all together. I know have to pay someone else to fix it and work on damage control done to my hair. read more

NEVER going back to this salon again. I had an appointment to get a one inch trim done on my already v-cut hair style. After my hair was washed the lady doing my hair didn't comb it out or anything before cutting. While she was cutting she neglected the smaller sections of hair and bangs around my face. I reminded her to cut them and she ignored me. After that she started blowdrying my hair without putting any heat protectant in me hair. She then proceeded to curl my hair when it was still damp with NO heat protectant, I would hear my hair sizzeling and asked her to stop. She once again ignored me. Once I got home I went to go look at how my hair was cut and it was and still is so choppy. I do not recommend going to this salon whatsoever. read more
