Drybar gets started as early as 8a. Check in is prompt and my stylist came out quickly. I confirmed I wanted my hair to be straightened and also wanted to try a Liquid Glass treatment for additional shine. The shampoo area was fairly busy; however, plenty of space between me and the person in the next chair. Fairly basic shampoo, conditioner and application of treatment. The drying and straightening of my hair fell into the promised time. I was offered coffee, tea, or water. The chair wasn't super comfortable - maybe I'm made too short to fit it well, but the backside only hit me mid-back. Overall, my hair feels cleans and it's straight, but is still holding a lot of volume. This is the second experience at Drybar where I've come home to flat iron my hair. I also don't notice a difference in my hair from the treatment, which was an additional $15. My stylist was friendly and I appreciated having a quiet morning flipping through a magazine and my phone. BUT ... Overall though, Drybar prices have increased in a way that doesn't match the experience. $75 plus tip?! Nope. I could go to my hair stylist for a cut and walk out with the same dried look. Unless I get an unexpected gift card to Drybar, I don't believe I'll be back for services.

She used a few products but never, ever pushed us into selling us anything, she just explained what she was using and that was it. She finished with a curling iron and let me mess around with it and adjust as needed. My friend had a similar great outcome, her hair was stick straight and smooth. She was seen by Lataya. I have been to a few blow dry bars in Louisville and I have to say this is the best one yet. You can't beat the price ($30) , the girls were fun and the salon was clean. I will definitely be back. The phone line continuously rolled to voicemail so I simply began to wander around the mall trying to find them for 20 minutes, call every few minutes. I finally found them and walked in 10 minutes late. I told them I had been trying to reach them for nearly 30 minutes, and they informed me their phone lines were perfectly fine (false- I even confirmed the number with them!) and that they couldn't fit me in for an hour now. Funny, because there was a stylist simply sitting in a chair playing on her phone. Beyond rude. I immediately left (knowing I'd be leaving a review here and contacting their management) and went promptly to another blowdry bar just down the road (with lovely yellow blowdryers), where I walked right in, as usual. I told the stylist there about my awful experience and she said she had heard this numerous times, and they even had a new stylist on their staff who had left Ooh La La for their team due to the poor management. TLDR: This place is awful and there are too many nice places in town to waste your time here. Good luck surviving in a competitive market.

She totally listened to what I want, as I was doing a big cut of about 8 inches. Of course, doing a big cut you get a little nervous but Morgan put me at ease. Then you get an amazing hair wash - with even a hand massage while you get your hair washed. I loved the eye mask, perfect touch. Then Morgan got started with my cut. I knew before she was finished I would love the cut. She did a great job with checking in to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and she hit it out of the park. After waiting for several minutes, the original stylist returned to spend 5 minutes cutting my hair. When I got home, my husband noticed multiple uneven pieces that he had to cut himself to try and even it out for me. This whole service cost me $100 and I am confident I could have had a better experience at Great Clips. I have been coming to Neatbeat for around 10 years, and generally had a positive experience despite seeing multiple stylists over the years, so that made today's experience all the more disappointing. I understand the need to train new employees, but prices should reflect that.
