I had a first impression and it wasn't inviting. I was visiting and wanted to check out the facilities and was told to leave.

High turnover. Kids need consistency and it is poorly executed here. No direction and poor leadership.

From my very first call, Ms. Tomeka, the head of school, was incredible and made me feel confident about enrolling my daughter. She began in the Nido classroom and has since transitioned to the toddler room, where all of her guides have been nothing short of amazing. Our daughter is genuinely excited to go to school each day, most mornings she runs right into the classroom! The guides and school leadership are warm, communicative, and always quick to answer any questions we have. We've seen our daughter grow, learn, and thrive so much, and we truly have Guidepost to thank for that

We experienced schools in the area called "Montessori" and are nothing but the opposite. Ms Tomeka had done a fantastic job with this school. All the staff are well trained and educated in Montessori methods. We've seen our little one grow and become more independent that we could have imagined at such a young age. Not to mention the amount of love and care from the teachers towards the kids and us as parents. I highly recommend this school.

Our son was one of the first children at this location when it opened. In those first few years we…read moreabsolutely loved the tight knit community and attention to detail the staff and directors offered. However as we now enter our child's third year at the school with numerous staff and leadership turnover we utilize this school more out of convenience than personal choice. There have been several instances of miscommunication from leadership with our family. Even more concerning, is the notable leadership turnover in such a short period of time. Unfortunately there is not a standard practice in place for routine class transitions which allow children of the same age an equal opportunity to access all learning tools which the school prides itself on. It's extremely disappointing to see such obvious stagnation and regression in our child's classroom engagement and learning for what appears to be the sake of appeasing incoming families on waitlists or special circumstances. I do hope moving forward the school is able to put in place more concrete class groupings so that all children are afforded an equal opportunity to engage and excel in their pivotal early learning years with the developmentally appropriate materials and tools the school has to offer.

This school is the worst place to put a child that is autistic. My son is on the spectrum which…read morecomes with ADHD and meltdowns and aggression. That is normal for kids on the spectrum. The aggression stems from them not knowing how to use their words. He had behavioral therapists there with him everyday and he was only at this school for four days before they kicked out a special needs child! A normal non special needs child takes a week to transition to a new place....a child on the spectrum takes at least two weeks maybe three. The owner did not allow that. The teachers have no training on how to handle and teach a child on the spectrum at all. The owner also LIED and said the behavioral therapists sat and let my son hit and kick the teacher and they ignored it. TOTAL LIES!! I have the proof from the notes that they have to put in every week from the sessions. So the owner lied to me, the teacher lied also. I called the ADA and was told what they did violated the ADA act and to file a complaint. I have filed a complaint with the ADA. This place needs to be shut down for good. They are horrible. They also wanna charge almost $1200 a month you have to pay on the 1st of every month and they don't provide lunch, you have to provide lunch for your child and they wanna charge that much. Basically a daycare for rich snobby people!

Probably not for everyone, but our daughter hated the chaos of a typical daycare. A Child's Place…read morehas provided her a structured and safe learning environment where she is free to express her emotions. The staff has expectations of the parents which requires an adjustment period, but it is intended to provide the children consistency throughout their day. This school promotes a pacifist culture rather than an aggressive one. The curriculum leverages a student's interest to cultivate their natural abilities. For example, students interested in art can spend more time doing art while students more interested in math can focus on math. This allows the children to define themselves. Conflict resolution is also built into the culture and no staff member ever raises their voice at the children. The facilities do not have a commercial feel to them like most daycares. Operations are very transparent and not governed by corporate policy. COVID-19 created some hurdles but those were widespread. I can't imagine sending my child anywhere else.

The school environment is enriching, with a huge variety of learning and creative opportunities, and very true to the Montessori method. Our child has benefitted academically because she loves learning and loves going to school. All she wanted to do for her birthday was stay at school ALL day until they closed, and she once told me that Friday is her least favorite day because she doesn't have school the next day. We enjoy reviewing her weekly work log to get a glimpse at what she is currently working on and what her goals are, and the work she brings home is high quality. The staff is supportive and accommodating. Any issue or concern we have had has been addressed and resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. We enjoy the scheduled teacher conferences twice per school year, where we are able to discuss our child's progress and see her work. Outside of conferences, the teachers have made themselves available and accessible for any questions. During normal times, the school offered plenty of opportunity to volunteer in the classroom, and we have delighted in spending time helping -- I wish I could go to school here! If you are looking for a unique, nurturing environment for your child, we strongly recommend A Child's Place Montessori.

We've been sending out child to Primrose for 2 years now and are very pleased with the quality of care received. Getting in: There is a length wait list because this is quite a popular school. I recommend signing up as soon as you find out you're expecting if this is the school you want to go to. We signed up at 6 months pregnant and had a year wait list. Our child was able to start in their Infant 2 class and is currently in their toddler 4 class. Fees: There's no way around this. It's expensive. This is a quality daycare. The facility is in immaculate condition. There are lots of toys in each of the classes. There are several great playground on site as well as a splashpad. Tuition includes 2 meals and 3 snacks daily. Parents are served breakfast and snack once a week. Staff: The staff are great at this location! The turnover is very low and most of the teachers that we've had in the last 2 years are still there. I think this speaks to the quality of the school, helps to justify and price, and the work environment for the staff.
