The owner immediately got up and offered to turn more lights on to illuminate the displays. She has an incredible and very large collection that is tastefully and artfully presented. Even when I told her that so was just looking, she was friendly and offered a lot of explanations about pieces I was simply curious about. It was almost like being in a museum. I felt I should have been charged admission! There are very high end valuable pieces here and are priced accordingly. This would be a perfect place to find a special heirloom wedding gift. There are many signs around that say not to touch, however the owner is very helpful and more than willing to assist you. If I ever hit the lottery this is where I'll shop!

They had a variety of items--jewelry, souvenirs, framed prints of artwork, comics, maps, and something I found particularly unique: framed book spines. As we browsed, the employee working there was incredibly friendly and helpful. Although we were initially on the fence about purchasing an art print, we ended up getting that along with some of the framed book spines. We recently returned to the area and decided to stop by again. This time, the owner was there, and he was just as friendly and helpful. A few years back, some coworkers had given me a gift certificate for the store after I told them about it. I had completely lost track of it, but the owner called his wife to see if she could locate any record of it--and within 10 minutes, they found it! We left the store with another large framed print, another book spine, and an enlarged, framed vintage train ticket from the Northeast Corridor. If you're ever in Pittsfield and looking for wall art or unique souvenirs at good prices, definitely stop by this cute store.

This is separate and apart from the museum. So forget the oversized pencils and postcards racks- what you'll find are unexpected gifts, stylish homeware items, metal jewelry, garden stuff, leather goods, Can-Can French posters and more in this shop. We got our hands on an $18 metal hanging bird bath, ornamental metal hooks for about $6 ea. and a few other things. In a nutshell, Facsimiles has it all with banging prices.

It's such a treasure in Stockbridge, I hope more people can discover it here since it's hidden inside Red Lion. This store has an endless amount of well curated items. From Printfresh pajamas to Smeg appliances and a unique collection of Jellycats, the owners really did a wonderful job with inventory selection. If you're not staying at the Inn but visiting Stockbridge, this shop is a must visit - and it will give you an opportunity to wander through the historic Red Lion. The BEST vintage boutique EVER!!! Catwalk is an inviting boutique with a vast variety of clothes,…read moreshoes, and accessories. The price is right. They sell casual and very dressy clothing. I've found the most elegant outfits for weddings. They DO have designer clothes. They tend to be pricer, but they have sales periodically and you can step in some diamond dust. This is a non profit. Wonderful kind people with excellent taste donate items here with love. Usually the local loyal patrons drop off nice items they no longer need. The boutique truly is a special place. I have consciously chosen to donate mint condition beautiful items instead of selling them, because I love this store and what it offers to humans and animals. You actually support cats and dogs buy shopping here. Their sister store in Lenox is great too. I have a special place in my heart for Catwalk in Great Barrington. I love the women who work there. They're some of the kindest warmest authentic women I've ever met. I always feel better walking out of Catwalk! I used to buy the majority of my wardrobe there, but then I moved. The boutique has such a great vibe and wonderful fantastic finds, that I used to stop by almost every week, even if I didn't have to find anything specific. Often times I'd buy something I didn't need at that moment, like something fancy, but then I'd have an occasion to wear it later. I swear Catwalk has an auspicious crystal occasion ball. The women there remind me of a crew of beautiful animal loving fairy godmothers who help unknown Cinderellas prepare for future "balls" and possible "Prince Charmings." Catwalk is truly a magical place. Walk in for a wonderful time and find a special piece or two. P.S. They have great jewelry!

I didn't find anything I was interested in but they do have a decent selection available so don't pass them up if in the area. In the back of the store they have a free shelf and a rack of free costumes available which is great if you're on a budget for Halloween. All-in-all, it was worth the stop.
