The place is awesome, has tons of any kind of model you might want; they have planes, helicopters, tanks/armor, ships and submarines, cars, and sci-fi fantasy type things. There's also a wide variety of different paints, including Humbrol, Vallejo, and Model Master, lots of tools, and diorama supplies. The model kits range from vintage to present-day, and the sheer variety is really incredible. All different kinds of scales, from 1:144 to 1:24. John was a very nice guy and very helpful, he greeted us upon entering the store and asked if there was anything we needed, also made sure to make us aware of where everything was, and the sales on paints. He took a few minutes after we paid to tell us about the different groups that meet at the store, and wrote down some information for us on a business card. We will definitely be returning frequently.

    ### Hobby Lobby - 6235 N Davis Hwy, Pensacola, FL…read more As a Bible-believing Christian, my wife and I headed to Hobby Lobby on North Davis Highway this Easter season, excited to find meaningful decorations to celebrate the true miracle of our Lord's resurrection. We know the store markets itself as a Christian-owned business, so we expected displays honoring Christ's victory over death--crosses, empty tombs, or verses like 1 Corinthians 15:20 proclaiming Him as the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. What a letdown. The aisles were overrun with pastel Easter bunnies, eggs, and chocolate-themed trinkets--secular fluff that turns the holiest day of the year into a candy holiday. She hunted for anything pointing to the risen Savior, but it was slim pickings: a few generic crosses buried among the pagan holdovers. This isn't what Easter means to us. It's about Jesus conquering the grave, not hopping rabbits. Hobby Lobby, if you're truly standing for Christ, why not lead with the Gospel truth instead of blending in with the world's watered-down version? We left empty-handed and disheartened.

Multiple times I heard the staff talking to each other about not wanting to be there and wishing the store would close already. The cashier was unfriendly and could not be bothered when I asked a question about a sale item. She just yawned multiple times and pointed to the tag. She wouldn't clarify how the yellow tag system worked and refused to even communicate with me beyond saying yes or no. I felt like I was inconveniencing her. The manager finally stepped in and answered my question politely and clearly. This used to be my favorite store, but it is no longer worth it if I have to be treated like I'm imposing on the employees by shopping there.

Did not see anywhere to get the material cut so had to got all the way to the front and stand in line behind 5 other people. The whole time 2 people working there kept yelling "self checkout is open for card only". They also told everyone they checked out they were glad they had "a good experience". Never heard anyone talking about a "good experience". When we finally got to the front we said we needed some material cut. We were told we would have to go back to the very back of the store to do that. I asked why there wasn't a sign. Their answer "there's a cowbell". Yes, a cowbell! Then they yelled at each other even though they were only 5-6 feet apart that I told them they needed a sign. We went back to the back of the store and never saw a cowbell!. We did see a sign up very high - approximately 10 feet that said we could call for a cut. At eye level at the same place was a sign that said pick up orders could be retrieved at this location. The person that told us where to go in the back disappeared as soon as she pointed to the cutting area. We left without buying anything and won't return! RUDE customer service. Filthy store!
