I have been to 2 courses here in Rockville, and one in DC; the classes are well laid-out and useful…read more(if well-chosen), and the instructors are all clear and helpful. (They do exactly follow the course book, so there's nothing too innovative here.) Okay, now on to the important stuff. Breakfast is bagels and cream cheese (veggie/plain), and muffins and such. They have one of those coffee machines where you can choose one of any kind of pouch of coffee (similar to a Keurig?) so that's fun. The lobby area is spacious and clean, with plenty of snacks and drinks at all times. The best part is the mid-afternoon dessert, which is always delicious. The lunch selection in the area is decent, highlighted by Noodles and Co. and Potbelly. Overall, I prefer it to the DC location, despite the long metro ride. The location is convenient enough, just a few minutes from the Rockville Station. The only negative is that the Internet is blocked at this location. They say it's for security reasons, and that's bull. If I want to be on gChat during the class or check my email, I should be able to.

Took a class here and was really impressed…read more The instructor was great - if I could complain at all, it would be that he went off on too many related and unrelated tangents and didn't finish the entirety of the book for the course. He also wanted to "do us a favor" and let us out early (4-4:30) but I say hey, if I'm paying $500-$1000 for a class, I want to get my money's worth... even if my company is paying for it. Great to meet a bunch of different professionals throughout the training, as well. The facilities are extremely professional, sleek, and clean. They provide light refreshments, such as bagels, snacks, coffee, which is a nice touch. I would recommend, if you're coming from out of town, to vet their recommended hotels a bit yourself because I was unsatisfied with mine and it was on their recommended list.

About a year ago my daughter, then 13, began showing some artistic talent. She had a good eye for…read morecomposition and was starting to teach herself to improve her art through YouTube videos. Eventually she decided that she wanted to apply to attend a competitive arts-oriented high school. The school required that a portfolio be submitted as part of the application process, with several required pictures - a landscape, a portrait, an animal, etc. My daughter's current school was supportive, but not focused on producing a structured portfolio. And we needed to have everything ready in under two months! I found Anatol through searching Yelp and the web, and he has been amazing. He supplied the instruction, the discipline, and the structure that my daughter needed. First, he helped my daughter focus her sketching ability. Then he helped her expand to colored pencils and water-color work. All of these she used to produce the required portfolio artworks. He also helped us confirm which of her preexisting works should be included in the rest of the portfolio. Basically, he helped her cover a year's worth of art instruction in a two-month period. (There were many lessons, but no tears!) I am glad to say that my daughter ended up being accepted into the high school program, something that seemed unlikely before we started with Mr. Woolf. However, what makes me happiest is that my daughter was able to develop her talent with Anatol, who was able to balance her own artistic interests with the needs of the portfolio and the expectations of formal artistic training. He helped her develop what she was already doing and teach her new techniques as well. (My daughter also read this review and says she agrees with it!)

I enrolled my daughter into lessons with Mr. Woolf and her art skills have grown tremendously,…read morealong with her confidence and interest in art. Would highly recommend Mr. Woolf to anyone interested.

His teaching style is clear, patient, and practical--he focuses on real-world driving techniques that prepare you not only to pass the CDL exam but also to drive safely and professionally afterward. Mr. Safe is extremely accessible and easy-going, always making time for his students. He works tirelessly every day until 7pm to ensure no one is left behind. Beyond being a skilled instructor, he is a kindhearted, genuine gentleman who truly cares about the success of his students. His professionalism, encouragement, and deep knowledge of CDL requirements made the entire process smooth and stress-free. A special mention also goes to his assistant Jimmy, who is a great man as well--always supportive, respectful, and ready to help students succeed. Together, they create a very welcoming and motivating environment. Because of their guidance, I passed the Virginia CDL exam and now hold my CDL license. I highly recommend CDL Safe Driving Academy to anyone serious about getting their CDL. The outdoor pool area has gone through an AMAZING transformation!…read more I first want to say that unfortunately I don't have many pictures. I didn't want to seem rude and make people self conscious by taking pictures with them in it, specially when in bathing suits and lots of young children. With that said, this outdoor pool is beautiful! The parking space is ample. So many places to park. The surrounding area is covered by trees and other outdoor activities including a baseball diamond/field and a very nice skate park. Upon entering, there is a small fee to get in daily. I believe residents receive discount to and there are passes available. As soon as we entered the swimming area, I was really impressed! Plenty of spaces to sit. In the shade, sun, a bit further away, many options. There is a shallow pool with lots of fun activities and slides for the young kids. That pool is 1FT deep and it's perfect for families. There's another pool with a basketball game another cool slide and zip tie pool plunge. On the far right there's an area with the long, tall slides ! These are new and look so fun. A bit further behind is a lap pool with diving boards. Unfortunately we came on a day with poor air quality and they had to close early. But we did enjoy 2 hours worth of swimming. There is an additional indoor pool and we were encouraged to swim there. We decided to go home. There's a confession stand that we didn't get to try and I haven't seen the fitness center yet. I honestly can't wait to come back, best pool in the area. Not too packed, big, fun, plenty to do. Loved !

There was a camp with hundreds and hundreds of children running around. They didn't all listen to the lifeguards. There were no chairs available -- that's on us, we should have come at opening, but it was wildly overcrowded and then another camp with even younger children arrived. My kids are young teen/tween age and excellent swimmers but it's more crowded than a Great Wolf Lodge on a holiday with a lot less supervision. I felt awful for the lifeguards. We'll likely come back on a weekend because the facilities are great but the amount of children vs adults/older teens is honestly hard to imagine and felt very stressful.
