So as I was planning my law school graduation party I came to the decision that I would want a…read morecaterer.... now, given that my family has always been known to throw the most amazing parties and always cooked the food ourselves, I was a little nervous on choosing a caterer. As per usual, I yelped. A came across Silver Sac. When looking at the review, there was only 1. So I was a little apprehensive, but I looked at the website and was BLOWN away by what they offered. Immediately, my mother and myself got into contact with Silver Sac, specifically Karin, and thus began the party planning!!! I had a guest list of 80.... and I wanted something a little different... just a cocktail party. And that was what was explained to Karin, and just like that, a menu was emailed and we were sold!!!! Here's the best part.... Silver Sac worked with us and our budget, and were ALWAYS available to talk. I mean, I sent probably 1000 emails back and forth to Karin, and she always responded. My theme was black and white stripes, and yellow.... which Silver Sac provided yellow flowers on each food tray. There were to be 4 servers and a bartender. On the day of my party, the whole team arrived approximately 2 hours before the party started. They set up EVERYTHING!!! We provided the booze and desserts. They provided, everything else. My favorite part, was that there was a signature drink that I created called the Verdict, an orange, basil mojito! It was great. The team consisted of a chef, 4 servers and a bartender. Dean, basically the ring leader, was sooooo attentive. I can't even explain how awesome he was, always making sure I got all the appetizers and timing. Fantastic!! Let's get down to business though.... the food. Younique Events did an absolute fantastic job all year long helping me in our wedding planning process. Meredith took my phone calls regarding advice for the reception process. She and her team volunteered to accept my online shipments at their office so that all of my reception items could be in Florida upon my arrival from Chicago. Meredith helped keep everything organized including inventory lists and checking the inventory to make sure shipments arrived safe and sound. She answered emails always within 24 hours and almost always answered the phone the first time i called regarding a situation. Younique events is very accessible to their clients and they make you feel like a priority. Meredith did a wonderful job negotiating with vendors and the hotels we blocked rooms with. She made sure they upheld all promises they had made to us. Meredith and her team did a great job executing my "plan" that we had discussed a year prior in person at the venue and through the year via phone calls. I was able to relax and get myself ready the day of the wedding and take my pictures knowing the Younique events team was setting up each detail we had planned for decor. The team was prompt, organized, friendly, caring and good listeners. They were really a joy to work with and looking back I cannot even imagine my day without them. I know it would have been IMPOSSIBLE to execute the preparation and the day of decor without them. I would have been late to my own wedding and sweating my make up off :) they were a necessity! we felt sooo lucky to have worked with them. Our guests and even we could not stop talking about how great our wedding event was. ps the team even ran out to the pharmacy to get the groom head cold medication as he was running a fever the entire day, sick as a dog, but with their support no one even knew the groom was ill.
