Five years ago, I wrote a review of Dr. Jamison and her team on Google and now I have an…read moreopportunity to leave a review here as well. Last year I got new glasses and sunglasses and had a blast picking them out with the team. Unfortunately, the sunglasses didn't work as well as I had hoped and the team was very helpful in trying to fix the situation, in the end I ended up going back to my old pair for the rest of the year. I saw Dr. Jamison on Friday May 22 and first thing I said to her was boy you are here late on a Friday and she said, "If you are going to be open on a Friday, I better do it right." "Because I know how my patients like Friday appointments and I am not always able to be here on a Friday, so I'm going to make it count." I greatly appreciate her philosophy on that. Anyways back to my sunglasses, I told her what happened to the last pair, and she was genuinely bothered that they did not work out. She looked back at the manufacturing of my original pair and said we are going to get me the right ones this time. My prescription had changed enough where this was needed, and she also indicated she wasn't sure what was causing the change; however, she gave me some advice for my health that I could do to make sure things didn't get worse for some reason. Dr. Jamison and her team as per their standard went above and beyond to make sure this new pair of sunglasses would rival my original pair with more flare to them to fit my personality. Because of this and because of the diagnostic machines especially the Optos machine I have the healthy vision I do and the Optos machine saved my husband's vision because she was able to diagnosis a Retinal Detachment and get him in to see "the best of the best" right away on a Friday morning. It's not about the money with Dr. Jamison and her team, it's about you, the person, the individual and your family and what it is that you need and want to look and to feel your best. Their Gold Standard is the reason they are part of my foundational team of healthcare providers and always will be.

I am a former optician and I would say I'm somewhat picky. The team's customer service is top notch and the variety of quality frames was perfect!

I was just in Target Optical in Eden Prairie. I wanted to pick up my eyeglasses as I received a…read moremessage they were in. I was so excited that I would have them before the weekend. I checked the website and it said they were open until 8pm. Of course when I got there at 6:30pm the "Target" Optical was closed. Keep in mind they are not open on the weekends per their voicemail but online says they are. I use Target in quotes as it's not really Target at all but a space they lease to an optometrist. I learned this after speaking with three different managers. Now I'm not so young as to accept this level of service as the new normal nor am I so old as to expect them to go to far out of their way, BUT I used to be in customer service and would have at least tried to solve the problem. I'm sure they had the numbers to the employees that work in optical, a simple phone call to see if anyone would be willing to come and get me my glasses would have been appreciated. The glasses were of course already paid for and measured. How about a gift card for my trouble and the misleading website information? Nope. The optical is not part of Target. If Target is not responsible for the customer service in the optical department who's to say they are not responsible in the pharmacy or clinic or Starbucks for that matter? Would you trust these departments servicing your family when you can't even be sure who to contact if something goes wrong? Big box retailers have to understand that besides supply chain issues and lack of qualified staff, there is another reason why everyone is turning to online shopping for everything. Online retailers know how to treat their customers. They understand how important it is to cultivate new customers, keep the business of their loyal customers and avoid negative reviews. Make good choices about where you spend hard earned money. It is harder to earn and easier to lose to those companies with unscrupulous business practices.

Jury is still out. If you follow my reviews I love good communication. They don't have it. But…read morethey can overcome that with great product. Don't know yet. I brought my prescription to Vision works with the intention of purchasing two pairs of glasses. I don't like games and switch and bait. I don't like the whole sales pitch and then you find out the advertised deal won't work in my situation and perhaps in anyone's situation. I need reading and distance. I don't do well with progressives because I am on a computer all day and I spent too much bobbing my head looking like a duck. They explained that they had a better solution with HD and a larger focus area that is really better with a larger area for computer. So I ordered them because they have. 100 day satisfaction, no questions money back. So I ordered them and waited . . And waited ..... and waited And one pair came in, but no one called, I called I went to get them and they are going to take time to get used to.... still progressives so I will have to try to make them work. I'll keep this posted. Overall.... great selection. Good help picking out glasses. Not thrilled with pricing, but they were out of network and they offered to file the paperwork for me with eyemed. So that's good. Jury is still out on the glasses and when I get them I will update this.

From the moment you walk in, it's clear the staff lacks both competence and basic customer service skills. I came in on 2/11/2026 because my eyes were bothering me and I specifically wanted to speak with a doctor. When I arrived, I was informed that they no longer have an on-site doctor. I was assured that their online doctor would be able to help. After going through the entire eye exam process, the online doctor ultimately told me she couldn't assist me and that I would need to see a doctor in person at another facility. This was incredibly frustrating and a complete waste of time. DO NOT GO and I give it zero stars.
