Wished we had packed two smaller suitcases rather than one large case, but we managed to get it up the stairs and to our room without any trouble. Loved the easy keyless access and simple check out. The location could not get any better. It is so convenient to all of the stores and restaurants. Our unit was like a small apartment. One small room with a couch, high bar table, small fridge, sink and microwave. That small room led to a pass through toilet/shower room. The shower was tiny and the doors to the toilet/shower room were just sliding barn doors so you literally hear everything in there (not sure if I'm a fan of that part). After walking through the shower/toilet room, you hit your bedroom. It was a nice size. For those with mobility issues, there is no elevator and the units are all on the second floor so you will need to climb stairs. Communication with Douglas on Third was excellent. They had very detailed email information on how to access the building, how to access your room, parking, etc. You may also text them to communicate. I would absolutely stay here again!

Fantastic place to bring kids up to 5 years old on a rainy day in McMinnville…read more We're visiting from out of town and we aren't used to all this rainy Oregon weather. So we tried to go to the other indoor playground, but they were closed. We were loitering in the parking lot and I asked a mom if there was any other place we could go. She suggested the Community Center and she took off super quick; I think she suspicioned that I was hitting on her. Anyway, we came here to find a friendly statue of Abraham Lincoln on a welcoming bench. Then we went inside to find friendly customer service at the front desk. It seems they have a lot of other facilities in the building, but we were there just for the toddlers playroom. It's for kids up to 5 years old. They welcomed us for our one-year-old and also let in our 6-year-old as long as she respected the other kids and the toys. It's a small fee for all-day use, with come-and-go privileges. They have a bunch of different kinds of toys that are best suited for kids 5 years or less. They have cooking sets, baby sets, toy cars and ride-in cars, balls, play mats, a couple small play structures, and small book shelf. There is a diaper changing table with wipes, bags for dirty diapers, and trash cans. One room has a tiled floor where people can eat snacks. The other, connected room is carpeted with no food allowed. Extra wipes are there for parents to clean toys after use. It seemed like the other clientele were regulars. They were nice enough and outgoing at times. I highly recommend this place on rainy days for locals and visitors alike. I'm sure there are bathrooms, but we didn't check them out. Limited off-street parking on all sides of the building, plus limited free parking on the street. If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

He truly went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Julius is so warm, kind, professional and just an overall delight to work with. He really took the time to understand our taste in music, played all our "must play" songs, honoured our "do not play" list, and did a fantastic job navigating requests. We gave him some direction on what type of music we wanted and some must play songs and Julius absolutely nailed it when it came to filling out the rest of the playlist with songs that fit our taste and the vibe. During the planning process, he asked us lots of questions, was willing to provide detailed answers to our questions and even helped point us to other potential vendors. He is a great communicator and always responds in a timely and thoughtful manner. Julius did an amazing job of reading the room and kept the dance floor packed and bumping all the way until the end of the night. All our guests keep raving about the music and how much fun they had dancing at our wedding. All of that is thanks to Julius. We could not have asked for a better DJ. If you're looking for a DJ for your upcoming event, we cannot recommend Julius enough. He's a total gem. I would give him more than 5 stars if I could.

Come home, compare it to our printout of the original reservation and still we were overcharged. My husband emailed and called to resolve the situation and spoke with Rhonda. She had a refund initiated and my account was credited. Needless to say, my husband is no longer going to make reservations in the future!! Thank you Hotel Oregon!

Basically, it was your basic crispy chicken sandwich on a hamburger bun with carrot, veggie ribbons, and jalapeno slices found in a normal Banh Mi sandwich. I've not had that sandwich with a bun before; I prefer the baguette to the bun. Didn't get napkins, and no ketchup. Did get ranch for my tots, though. Service, as with many McMenamins, was a bit lacking. No one came by to check on me after my food delivery or even asked if I needed anything else when it was delivered. Sadly, it's kind of what you come to expect from McMenamins' establishments. Cool atmosphere and generally good food but spotty service. Maybe the McM brothers should do like on that undercover boss show and visit their establishments incognito. Perhaps then the service will improve.

The complex Covers four buildings. Two of them are for the museum, one of the buildings holds a giant screen movie theater that screens, some amazing aviation related movies, and the fourth building is an indoor waterpark, complete with a retired 747 parked on the roof. The emergency exits to the 747 are entrances to the waterslides. The primary building, where the spruce goose is located, covers aircraft from a replica of the original Wright Brothers flyer, to modern military aircraft. The secondary building, is the space, museum. It has aircraft such as the SR 71 blackbird, a model of the Apollo, lunar lander, and other space related exhibits. You can easily spend hours here. Admission is reasonable, and they offer discounts for military/veterans, seniors, youth, and local residents. Annual memberships are also available. To see the Spruce goose I highly recommend the flight deck tour. It's $25 on top of the museum admission, not cheap, but without it, all you really see is the entranceway of the plane. I took the tour, it was a 45 minute tour, it goes through the entire plane, and the docent talked about the whole history of the plane, it's different components, etc..... It was originally a prototype for a massive cargo plane, but because it was not completed by the end of WWII, there were no others made. It only flew one time, and there was a really cool recording of a reporter who was actually on the plane for that flight. It's definitely worth the visit.

They are building a hotel on the property as well. It's a pretty neat spot in the middle of nowhere.
