They are great for training or small sided games. Leagues, tournaments and clinics are offered year-round and are especially valuable during the winter months. There are leagues for every skill level including men's, women's, co-ed, over 35, etc. This is also a home for Sports Tots, a parent-child program that introduces toddlers to various sports including soccer, football and basketball. My son and I went through the Soccer Tots program and had a blast! A couple of nice big dog parks but one is often locked up. This is a well used small park. The back fields that are used for soccer and lacrosse are awful. They're grass and get muddy with just a little bit of rain. Or when it hasn't rained in awhile, the red dust blowing covers everything. The makeshift road that everybody drives on to park closer to the fields have deep ruts and cross over part of the walking path. There's paved parking but this is the best way to park closer to the fields for lacrosse and soccer games. And when there's also baseball games going, parking is wherever you find it, even on grass, Thankfully, the city has earmarked some funds to renovate the fields, make them turf, and put in more parking spaces. Can't wait for that.

Pros: convenient to cornelius where we live, cute uniforms, free magnets with the team logo, nice…read moreparents, nice fields to practice on. The two coaches we have spoken with briefly seem nice enough. When you make your payment that is quite easy to do and it seems easy to get a hold of someone in the finance office. Cons: customer service and what you get for money not on the same scale as the price you're paying for uniform and fees. Even if you go into the office the girl behind the desk doesn't seem to be able to answer many questions he may have as a parent about the program. Poor/absent/contradictory/inadequate communication with parents about almost everything, coaches don't know kids names 1 month into season, half-hearted and mixed-message or unclear coaching at games frequently . App we are supposed to follow to know what's going on freq has lack of or mis- information... This coupled with not knowing where we're going on the weekend until a few days ahead of time plus a one hour plus drive, plus kids not introduced to each other at practices or even before games ( and they mix up the kids every week on different teams) or having great relationships with the coaches makes sometimes depressing, exhausting and feel not really worth our while. Update: we're sticking with this program because of how much our child loves soccer and there is a lack of any other choices in our area. So there was a game schedule this morning he was quite excited about. We were too as it was not an hour or two away was actually in our neighborhood. Late last night they change the time via email to one hour earlier. Apparently about half the parents did not get this email and this morning they changed it again to an hour earlier than that. The convenient app was not updated at all for the time changes and the location change. For some families that were at the wrong field and couldn't even make the game, and some families that didn't receive the emails and didn't even know about the time change. Many families with morning completely disrupted and disappointed children. Needless to say with parents multiple children and and jobs and life in general, this is not work for many families. This would be expected for a community run or non-for profit just for fun recreational program but certainly not for this type of program and it's purported quality and the fees they charge.
