I don't get to Murrieta often, but when I do, I will definitely keep this place in mind. Looking for a matcha based drink, the menu offered that and so much more. It's a pretty unique place that was very busy. Somewhat hidden in a shopping center, but luckily the line out the door caught my attention. They have some fancy unique drinks which sounded on the sweeter side. They looked amazing! Service was great! I even tried the fish shaped crossaint. Definitely delicious!

Was in the area and looked up coffee places. This place came up and I stopped by. Friendly staff assisted me in ordering my classic viet coffee and pressed jalapeño cheese croissant. Cute spot and clean tables.

Cozy little cafe tucked in a shopping plaza. There's quite a bit of decent seating inside and the place is really cozy. Service has always been nice and quick, and sometimes lines can be a little long. Everything is made to order, but wait times aren't that long - maybe 5-15min depending on how many people were ahead of you. The matcha and Vietnamese coffee here is 10/10. This is probably my new favorite cafe. You can tell the quality of the coffee and matcha just by the color! Sipping it just proves it! Coming from being spoiled with countless cafes in Orange County, this place is great! I love the matcha drinks I've had so far. Don't judge the corn matcha latte until you've tried it! The banana matcha is clearly a hit. The strawberry matcha is amazing too! I really appreciate that they use real fruit ingredients and not the typical syrups from a bottle. The drinks aren't too sweet either which is perfect for me. Will definitely return for another sip soon!

Got the mint iced mojito and that was the winner of the two drinks. Matcha latte is sufficient to satisfy a matcha craving, but had slight clumps and not the most "earthy" true matcha taste imo. Workers and owner were really sweet and service was very quick and nice. Cute spot to study chat and hangout as well

Love this place! My favorite coffee in the area, and I've tried everywhere. Only criticism is I wish they had more than just one size. The Vietnamese coffee is so good and I just want more! One of the recent times I went they used a ton of ice so I felt like I had only a couple swigs of the actual coffee. Plus, if there's cold foam, it really takes up a lot of the room. I asked for light ice the last time I went, and she said it wouldn't fill up the cup all the way. I said it was fine, but it was awkward because I'm pretty sure I saw her fill it up with a pitcher of Vietnamese coffee... So I don't understand why they couldn't just fill up the cup. With the cold foam, I only got a little over half of my cup filled with the actual coffee. (i'm not sure if it was just this employee, because I asked for light ice the other time and they filled it up all the way with no problem, and there was way less ice. I promise I'm also not just trying to get more coffee for cheaper, if they had a larger size, I would 100% purchase it! The coffee is amazing, and I know they're first starting out so I'm sure different sizing will be in the future. Food is wonderful, and the staff has always been very kind and helpful.

Love this place! Stopped by for the first time this weekend and definitely will be back! I got the Vietnamese coffee with banana pudding. It was the best Vietnamese coffee I have ever had. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and was not overpowering which is an issue I typically have when getting Vietnamese coffee. It was very busy when I came in but service was still very fast and friendly. Looking forward to becoming a regular!

I accidentally came here on their first week of opening, and I'm so glad I did! The vibes are chill, the owner and employees are always so welcoming, and the drinks and pastries are delicious! My go to order is the iced banana pudding latte & their freshly made stuffed croissants. I am obsessed with the jalapeño, ham, and cheddar one! So delicious!

Went in on a weekday morning. It was packed. I think it is family owned and did not mind the wait as I was reading their story on the wall (sorry no pic. you got to come in to read it) There were a couple of seats available. lots of parking space. Coffee was great. Friendly staff.

The Fin Coffee is a nice new addition to the coffee shop and desserts scene in Murrieta. The Vietnamese coffee is unique; it is strong, with a robust, somewhat smoky undertone, very pleasantly accented by the foam custard topping. I got the banana pudding custard foam and it was awesome! I could not have imagined that banana and coffee could go so well together! The brow sugar latte was my wife's choice and she thought it was very good. We had the cinnamon and Nutella fish shaped croissants- they are a unique and delicious treat, totally worth trying! If my review were only for the coffee and croissants I'd give it five stars. But i also have to take the ambience i to consideration. It is nice- but the industrial basic tile floors the stark lighting leave a bit to be desired. Also i found the service person difficult to hear and understand. However- The Fin is worth trying and enjoying sometime soon!

This is a great new place to try. My kids love their açaí bowls. Bonus points since it's made in-house. The prices are reasonable and there is a variety of items to choose from. The owner, Ann is really kind offers great customer service. She's passionate about her business as it shows through her work. The store is well decorated with plenty of seating. This spot is a hidden gem! It is very unsuspecting on the outside. It's is in a busy shopping center. There is plenty of parking. It is bright and cheerful on the inside, with its white wall and framed pictures. There is cute merch like shirts, mugs, coffee, and matcha. There are Christian motifs like bible verses on sweaters and on the wall. There is also a little book shelf for reading and a gratitude wall. You are able to write what you are grateful for and hang it on the wall with a ring and put a string though it. I thought that was very nice. There is limited seating. There was a few people inside and as more time went on, more and more people came in. The front counter had laminated menus and a pastry shelf with chocolate chip muffins. When it was time, I ordered an original açaí bowl and was able to switch the almond butter to peanut butter. I asked the cashier about the corn cream latte, since I was curious about it. She explained that it basically corn cream foam on top of a latte. She asked if I wanted to taste it. I said yes and she gave me a plastic spoon with the foam. It tasted exactly like the creamed corn. I didn't really like it but I can get understand why some might like it. I decided on a hojicha which is like a roasted matcha latte. It came around to $22 with tip that I added. Cashier asked if I wanted to join the rewards program for points. It's cool they have that. My order did take a bit since it did get busier but I didn't mind. My name was called and I asked for a lid since I was taking it to go. The barista seemed surprised by my request. She said most people eat it there. xD She asked if I wanted a bag and I said no. I tried my drink and it has a very interesting taste. Almost like a nutty flavor with some type of spice/herb. It was fine. My açaí bowl was delicious. I had such a great experience! read more

Moving to Murrieta and trying to find a decent well priced coffee shop is hard til I came across the fin. I've already tried their matcha and coffee and I recommend the banana pudding matcha. I've been stuck on their tiramisu latte now, It's strong yet sweetened just right. The people working here are so sweet and always handling the food and drinks with such care. As for coming in to study is entirely up to you. They have chairs and tables if that's what you like! They have cute decor and overall a solid coffee shop. Can't wait to see them come up! read more

Good service, and many places to sit. The drinks were good but I feel like it could improve a little! Being from the oc/la area and newly moved to the ie, it is hard to find a good cafe. I would say that this one comes pretty close to one from oc (compared to other places I've tried in the Temecula, murrieta, Menifee area). The Thai tea was very flavorful but the other drinks were a bit watered down or maybe too much milk. Overall would come again to try different drinks and their food options. read more

WOW WOW WOW!! This place is so cute and cozy and baristas were super sweet and helpful. Came here with my nephews and niece and it was very baby friendly. My banana pudding matcha was DELICIOUS... The coffee tasted watered down, like my coffee was sitting for hours. Tasted no coffee whatsoever and charged $7 for a coffee I threw away in the trash as soon as I walked out the door. On top of that all their mixes and brews are already premade and stored in containers which is probably why it tastes so horrible. I think I saw them use their coffee espresso machine twice and everything else was already made just ready to be poured. As well as my croissant sandwich was burned and was no one near being a sandwich, felt like a piece of flattened bread with burnt harden flavor. read more

I was introduced to this coffee shop from a friend of a friend. First thoughts... The interior is very cutely decorated and aesthetic. I heard that the owner, Ann, renovated the space herself! The Fin Coffee serves both coffee, tea, and matcha beverages and savory and sweet taiyaki croissants. Ann informed us that the their Coconut Cloud Matcha is very popular. Our party enjoyed that drink. My boyfriend and I opted for an iced matcha latte with reduced sweetness. On our return trip, we also tried their Vietnamese coffee with the matcha and corn cream toppings. I enjoyed all of their drinks, but I was disappointed that you cannot adjust the sweetness for their Vietnamese coffee since the coffee is pre-made. Their Vietnamese coffee is on the sweet side, which is typical for Vietnamese coffee. Their matcha is okay. Ann said that they use four grams of matcha, so their matcha drinks should be stronger than other shops. Overall, their drinks are solid. read more

Have visited a couple times, even when it's busy the drinks are made very quickly which I love. My go to is always the matcha with banana pudding which is always amazing but you have to be very specific about how you want your drink. They have the option of maple or honey sweeteners so I'd suggest a matcha with oat milk and maple and add the banana pudding (the perfect order) My boyfriend has gotten the matcha with matcha foam and it was pretty bitter and it had some chunks of matcha so it wasn't that enjoyable. Overall a good new spot to try in the area but if you like your matcha on the sweeeeterrr side it might not be for you. read more

I love authentic Vietnamese cafe sua da and it's rare to find one that taste like in Vietnam or in Orange County area. Orange county has variety of coffee shops. One of my favorite coffee spot is Phins coffee. So when I came across this place inspired by phin coffee I was so excited to try it out. I stopped in today. The place is fairly new. Decor is simple. Small and narrow with alot of customers coming in and out. Quite busy around 10 AM . Wait time for the coffee was about 10 to 15 minutes, which I think wasn't too bad for for that many customers . I ordered the simple Vietnamese, cafe sua da and cream on top. I have to say .. I was disappointed . The coffee wasn't what I expected to be. The flavor wasn't that in depth of a Vietnamese coffee it's more of like an espresso like Starbucks. Maybe this place is still quite new and the worker doesn't quite get it the recipe?! I don't know. I'm just hopeful thinking there's a possibility of a error on staffing making it wrong??? I'll might give it a try one more time. read more

Beautiful new coffee joint in Murrieta. Got the banana pudding latte & Nutella banana croissant. Was caught off guard by the fish imprint but it's a lovely design & quite yummy. I'd give both a 10/10. The coffee was strong enough for my liking since i tend to be picky and the sweetness was perfect, not too sweet just about right. I stumbled upon this brand‑new coffee‑and‑matcha nook on a Saturday morning, and it quickly became my new favorite spot in Murrieta. The staff was very friendly but was sad to find they do not have any blended coffees . I just didn't like the recommendation for Banana Pudding Latte. Honestly tried to enjoy it but I couldn't and it made my tummy turn. Had to toss it. And the Mint Citrus Green Tea was disappointing. the menu has other drinks I would be interested in but they do not offer any blended type coffees which is my go-to. read more

Amazing! My husband and I like to go to a different coffee shops every Friday. We wanted to check this one out because it was new and we saw it online. It did not disappoint! I got the sweet House macchiato, caramel flavor. It was very sweet, like she said! But I like my coffee that way. My husband got the dirty Thai milk tea, and it was very authentic and yummy tasting! Amazing overall! The croissants that they have are shaped like a fish. So that just made the whole experience so cool. They have games to play, books to read, and a cool gratitude wall that you could add onto right before you walk out. Such a great place. We will be coming again! read more

This place is amazing! The owners + staff are so genuine and friendly! They helped us select a smoothie with all the things we love and get 25g of protein in our smoothie! highly recommend because they use REAL ingredients, house-made almond milk, and genuinely care about you loving what your ordered! interior was cute! it's a spacious cafe to hang out at. drinks were alright! i'm used to a strong matcha and these were not strong at all. the cream top matcha on the left was heavily watered down. i don't know if this was just a bad batch but it tasted like water. the matcha top matcha on the right was more strong than the other one but, the matcha clumps at the bottom of the drink weren't pleasant to drink. this drink was still not strong at all. i'd rate both drinks a 2.5/5! i hope it's just because they're new and getting a lot of business but i was a bit disappointed ;( i ended up throwing both drinks away :/ read more

The BEST matcha place in the area. My personal favorita has become the iced matcha with banana pudding, it's so delicious I wish they sold it separately. I love their croissants as well, the jalapeño, ham and cheese and full of flavor and it's great that they seek them as a trio where you can mix and match different flavors. The service is always the best, everyone is so kind and friendly, the owner always goes above and beyond! The place is decorated so cute as well and they have merch you can buy. I'm so glad they opened, this is the only place I get my matcha now. read more

Great service, was able to answer all my questions with ease and had my drink and pastry ready very quickly. Prices were decent/ expected for the size of the drink and pastry. Ordered the cold brew with banana pudding and it had a wonderful balance of coffee and banana flavor. The fish pastry with ham, cheese and jalapeño was warm and flaky. Overall a 10/10 experience and will be back to try the salted foam! read more

I came because I love a good matcha latte and am always down to try different places. Personally I didn't care for the matcha latte because it leaned more on the vegetable side and I prefer my matcha on the sweeter side and more of a balanced taste. I had also ordered a Nutella croissant but received a Nutella and banana croissant instead of the plain Nutella. The croissant was good but I didn't finish it since I don't like banana. read more

When this place first opened, I thought it was great--everything tasted fresh and the portions felt worth it. But now that they've been open for a while and get really busy, the quality has been pretty inconsistent. The matcha and coffee don't always taste the same from visit to visit, which is disappointing. Also, the first few times I went, they gave a really generous serving of banana pudding, and now it's more like a small scoop. I wanted to love this place after seeing it on tik tok. But the coffee has to be the worst coffee I ever had. We both ended up throwing our drinks away. The Vietnamese coffee tasted super burnt and the banana pudding latte tasted like dish soap. Super disappointed to not like this place because of their clean ingredients but it was so sad to have to throw away an entire coffee. The customer service was good but they just call out your name and walk away so I had to ask to clarify which drink was which. read more

The Fin is a breath of fresh air!!! The corn latte - who would've thought?! It's creamy, fresh, and delicious! Though I didn't get a chance to get the banana cream latte, Ann was kind enough to share a taste of the last bit of cream. Wow, I can't wait to come back for that one. The Vietnamese coffee with salted cream had a wonderful deep bold flavor. She makes her own almond and oat milks - they are clean and tasty. The space is cute and comfy. i really wanted to love this place but their drinks fell very incredibly short for my group and i! we ordered 2 strawberry matchas one with oat milk, one with whole milk, 1 matcha with banana pudding oat milk and 1 matcha latte sweetened with honey whole milk. ALL four drinks were terrible!! the strawberry matchas were so tangy and were not milky in the slightest. it was more like a lemonade. the banana pudding was tasty but had whole banana slices making for an unenjoyable sipping experience. the matcha latte with honey again, did not mix well. super disappointed in this places considering the high reviews and the initial aesthetic of the matchas. maybe their coffees are better? not sure if ill back.... read more

Tried this spot for the first time, I had seen a lot of reviews on TikTok! Inside looked really clean and cute! The owner was very polite and friendly, her customer service was excellent! I was very excited to hear they make their in house oatmilk! I ordered a oatmilk matcha with honey sweetener! And she was very nice by adjusting the sweetness level! But I have to say the Matcha had a weird aftertaste. I'm not sure if it was the Matcha powder or the oat milk itself that left a taste in my mouth that I didn't like. As more time passed, I noticed customers who ordered both before and after me receiving their orders while I was still waiting. At that point, I started to feel like my order may have been missed. I checked a second time and explained that I felt like my order may have been missed. The gentleman who helped me was much kinder than the first person I spoke with and was apologetic, which I appreciated. Finally, another employee, who I believe was the owner's husband, asked to see my receipt and discovered that my order had been misplaced. I received my cinnamon rolls around 8:30 AM. While I understand that popular items can take time, it was frustrating to find out that my order had actually been misplaced after I had already asked about it twice. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate the owner's husband for being honest about what happened and the gentleman for taking the time to help. I love supporting local businesses and hope this doesn't happen to another customer.

I left a not so raving review at the other location because I wasn't impressed with that and didnt go back to the chain as many other coffee shops will increase the espresso amount or even double it with the larger sizes. The owner/manager responded to my review which I appreciated and he said that things were in the works. I felt heard and so I was prepared to change my review if that indeed happened. Well, I'm coming back a year later because I wanted to give it some time and Ive now moved here so I'm a local but unfortunately no changes have happened. They have definitely updated their menu drinks to new seasonal items so I guess this feedback felt between the cracks and instead decided to just make new drink. Drinks themselves are way sweet and even even when asking if I can get it half sweet, everything else just overpowers the coffee that I'm trying to taste - it must be all that milk and sugar with little espresso. This location does have nicer staff as the one in downtown/old town Murietta were rude and with attitudes.

But I don't know what's happened recently the last few months but the prices have increased quite a bit and the front cashier just doesn't seem to know what she's doing versus the previous one - it's almost like she doesn't understand the questions that are asked or doesn't want to be there. They also stopped carrying 2% milk and don't carry any low fat options, just whole milk and then want to up charge for alternatives. I have stopped coming here less and less which is unfortunate because I've also noticed it isn't as busy when I have came to visit, which is also not a good sign. I used to look forward to coming here every weekend and brought my family here when they came to visit but I have stopped recommending it. Any positive reviews from me would have been based on the previous La Taza, but not the current one.

I got a hot hazelnut latte on a cold foggy morning and it was delicious and a good balance of syrup and espresso. I usually don't care for anything extra in my latte but they definitely have a good list of seasonal flavors and their main flavors. I like how you can customize it to make your own flavors as well. I just opted for something simple and it came out good. The area around is the industrial part and seems like it would be a good place to get a pick me up if you're getting your car serviced or something. I like that they had seating even though that morning was a cold morning. I'd imagine it to be a lovely spot to have coffee and chat with a friend on a nice sunny morning. I love the coffee cart and the person who served me was very nice. I would definitely recommend and try this out again if I had the chance. They only have limited hours though, so planning to come through can be challenging if you're not a morning person or have work out of the way.
