I have purchased dirt from Wayne's over the years. The first purchase was a full truckload of…read moreregular dirt a few years ago. When it arrived it was filled with large clay deposits approximately 5-10 inches in size. I had to spend days chopping up the clay. I had hoped that was an anomaly, much to my chagrin. Earlier this year I purchased a full truckload of their "garden mix" soil which was touted by the owner as great garden soil different types of compost. I was very excited about it. I spent a year assembling nine raised beds for a high production organic garden. The dirt was nothing but mulch and sticks. I thought I might be incorrect so I had the "dirt" (or should I say, sticks) analyzed. It literally had no nutritional value. Now I have to remove 12 yards of cheap mulch and will lose the growing season. I should have read Yelp reviews (i.e. Melanie C from 2013). It appears this has been going on for awhile. Caveat emptor--it is unfortunate.

If they don't have it she sees to it that it is ordered, and will even contact me when it comes in. I truly like her, and her helpful and caring customer service. Since I am a beginner Beekeeper, and love to grow much of my own vegetables, I show her some pics of what I am doing or looking for, which helps her to serve my needs better. It was a dreary day today raining since 1 AM. I arrive there around 11 AM. As I was walking from the parking lot, I met Leon who offered to assist me in finding the plants I wanted. . I found him helpful and knowledgeable and when he didn't have an answer for me, he went to a manager who had the information I needed. A lady named autumn checked me out she was quite helpful, even though their power had gone out because of the storm they Hand wrote My receipt and gave me a copy . They asked if they could take my credit card information and when their power return, they would send me a receipt via email if I provided them my email address, which I did. Overall, the staff was very accommodating and pleasant, except for the lady at the counter named Jennifer. I found her to be standoffish and she gave me the feeling that she was doing me a favor by allowing me to purchase plants from them. Or, I was bothering her.. I have to say that did not make me feel good, however, the professionalism and kindness of the other staff over road the experience and negative energy I got from Jennifer.
