However, either they got cheated themselves on the product (unlikely, since they prepare everything on site) or they are cutting ugly corners. I ended up using my 1 qyrd as fill dirt. When it arrived it was filled with large clay deposits approximately 5-10 inches in size. I had to spend days chopping up the clay. I had hoped that was an anomaly, much to my chagrin. Earlier this year I purchased a full truckload of their "garden mix" soil which was touted by the owner as great garden soil different types of compost. I was very excited about it. I spent a year assembling nine raised beds for a high production organic garden. The dirt was nothing but mulch and sticks. I thought I might be incorrect so I had the "dirt" (or should I say, sticks) analyzed. It literally had no nutritional value. Now I have to remove 12 yards of cheap mulch and will lose the growing season. I should have read Yelp reviews (i.e. Melanie C from 2013). It appears this has been going on for awhile. Caveat emptor--it is unfortunate.

If they don't have it she sees to it that it is ordered, and will even contact me when it comes in. I truly like her, and her helpful and caring customer service. Since I am a beginner Beekeeper, and love to grow much of my own vegetables, I show her some pics of what I am doing or looking for, which helps her to serve my needs better. I explained that I would not be able to do it that day as I need to be home from work and get cash out, and was then told again later the following week. I was told he may be out of town and hoped to be back Wednesday so I continued to wait on a scheduled date. Fast forward to the next week. Wednesday evening I still hadn't heard anything and inquired again and was told "tomorrow afternoon". Luckily I was able to be home from work and agreed. Fast forward to the day of the afternoon job, I inquired about an ETA at 2:15PM as I hadn't heard anything. At 5:04PM I finally received a response that they were finishing up a job 30 mins away and would head towards me. I advised it was too late to start the job then received a call at 5:30 explaining that it's still afternoon, and they want to cut and trim tonight and then come by in the morning to haul. I explained again I was not comfortable with the job starting so late, after the planned time, with no communication, and that I did not want it done in two separate days especially when I could not be there in the morning. I received an attitude, and was told their job went long and they had other priorities this weekend, that they will work just fine without my "supervision" and that i might need to go with someone else. I later received a text explanation explaining in a more pleasant way what exactly happened that they accepted a change in the job earlier in the day which caused it to go longer. This company would probably still have my business if there had been some communication earlier in the day. 2 stars for extremely poor communication and lack of respect for the schedules of the patron.
