But the pool and bar area or as one. Meaning you are not allowed to bring your drinks in from outside but every person in the pool area has a Tumblr filled with booze. Only because they cant get service from the pool bar staff. So they get the same review as the restaurant. This is not the place to come spend time with friends and relax. No wait staff around pool area, no one checking Ids, No one checking bands to see they belong or not, the camp store has nothing in it, and the management is pointless. ​Avoid this place at all costs! The management's total neglect is evident, the service is non-existent, and the staff is incredibly unprofessional. We spent our holiday weekend trying to give this place chance after chance, and it was a miserable experience from start to finish. ​ The Timeline of a Ruined Holiday Weekend: ​Friday Night: Waited over 20 minutes for a drink by the pool with barely anyone in line. Finally gave up and left empty-handed. ​Saturday: Hoping for better service, we went back to the pool. Instead, the poolside bartender appeared completely under the influence of something. Six of us had to walk inside to the main bar just to get service. To make matters worse, the inside bar only has glass bottles (which aren't allowed outside), and all the canned beer is trapped at the poolside bar where no one will serve you. When they ran out of standard cups, they poured my drink into a small coffee cup and charged me the exact same full price. I brought this to management and the Campground GM twice--absolutely nothing was done. ​Sunday: Gave it a third try at 11:45 AM. The bartender slicing fruit told us they don't serve until noon. Fair enough. We walked back in at 12:03 PM, and all the bar stools were still stacked on top of the bar with no employee in sight. When the bartender finally appeared 5 minutes later, I ordered two Crown & Cokes and four Vegas bombs. He immediately threw a massive attitude about the order. When I matched his energy, he refused to serve me period. ​ The Ultimate Low Point ​Thirty minutes after my refusal, my wife and kids went inside strictly to get drinks for themselves and food for the children. The bartender actually refused service to my wife and refused to feed my kids. It wasn't until my wife went to the main campground office that a staff member walked over and agreed to at least cook the kids' food, but they still refused anything else. ​ The Bottom Line ​When you go on vacation and spend your hard-earned money, you shouldn't have to beg for service, wait 30 minutes in empty lines, or deal with hostile, incompetent staff. Everyone around the pool area this weekend was furious, and I personally know of at least 10 people who complained to management to get absolutely nothing but crickets in return. ​I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save your time, save your money, and go somewhere else where you can actually relax!
